Rated 4 out of 5 by rorinjay from Spacious and easy to set up and take down.... This tent is so easy for new and seasoned campers. We had to upgrade because we outgrew our older tent. We have a queensize cot & air mattress combo as my partner is mobility challenged and can not sleep on the ground as he can not get up. He was able to do most of the assembly himself with my assistance. I took on the chore of taking the tent down and storing it away. It was very easy for a single person. We both love this tent and use it very often. We camp at least once a month if not more. ***our only issue: zipper got stuck on the door. make sure that you open the door zipper slowly and do not get the fabric stuck in it. This was a operator error***

Rated 5 out of 5 by Bloomfield from Versatile and simple!!! Went camping in mid October in Wisconsin it did good in the wind and we had a heater in the tent and there were plenty of options to ventilate. The cabinets were super handy our dog made one of them her spot. Our queen mattress fit perfectly. The only thing that wasn’t ideal was the door the zippers kept catching the rain guards but the fact the the door hinges was super nice. All and all I would recommend this tent to anyone going camping with a family.

Rated 3 out of 5 by anonymous_222 from Smart, Roomy But Not Durable OVERALL: love this tent but sucks that it is busted; roof supports need to be more durable POSITIVES: +smart design: love the closet, door, curtain for splitting into 2 rooms +great size; luxury size for 1 or 2! +floor has not leaked or seeped moisture +Love the mesh roof (without fly) for star gazing +after first attempt of putting up, it was super easy and organized to put up & take down +zippered electrical opening is convenient and keeps pests out +flexible window openings/venting - either open with mesh or zip completely closed with tent fabric; good for adjusting temperature NEGATIVES: -dew seeps through fly/roof -roof structure is composed of a 6 way/pole directional support; but after 2.5 years 2 of the poles have split, making them not capable of supporting the structure -no replacement available for above mentioned part; must come up with home/creative solution or buy new tent -not possible to get all parts back into duffle; need larger duffle or additional one to carry/pack up all parts

Rated 4 out of 5 by Jay82 from Affordable good size I actually had trouble with the tent the first time setting up. Poles were really tight. You literally have to raise tent or maybe stake tent after you insert poles. I actually have to order a replacement pole for the door because as I was getting in the tent the door caught my foot and broke. I will use it again and it’s a good purchase. Just make sure there are 2 people setting it up.

Rated 2 out of 5 by CDHJ from Unforeseen incidents I live in Nebraska and I have had this tent for over a year. On two separate occasions, due to windy situations, the tent has collapsed on my family and I. The first incident was with winds 40+ mph. I dismissed it because many tents would have some difficulty with the situation. Last night I was camping with my kids in Iowa and we were hit with a major storm. Winds were 20+ mph and one of the main reasons the tent did not collapse was because I had a chair in one corner with a bunch of some items on the seat and in the other corner was our cooler. When the wind shifted, the other side kept collapsing causing me to get up and keep pushing out the post. Also we had a small pool of water inside. Other surrounding tents didn't have the same issues or no issues at all, I am unsure to what could be the best fix action to provide. When I took apart the tent, the roofing poles were busted. I never had issues with other Coleman products in the past but was not to keen on this particular model. I still will look at Coleman for a new replacement with Hope's to find a proper replacement.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Artillery Mike from Fast & easy, low quality So we bought this tent for a Cub Scouts camping trip. The tent is extremely easy to put up though. We bought this one specifically because of how the door hinges and the two small cubby sections. It's very roomy for our for person family. When we put it up there was already a hole in it. I patched the hole and I'm glad I did because it rained that night. When we put the tent away the bag ripped at the zipper so now there's a hole in that as well. For the price of what this costs I expected better quality especially from Coleman. I also own a Coleman travel trailer which is awesome.

Rated 3 out of 5 by The Viking from Not enough use yet.... I got this tent to replace Coleman Instant Tent 8. Set up is ok and we'll defined. Roll up and storage good too. Not sure how it stands to rain yet? If it's sealed like the Instant-8, there should be no worries. It is a good tent for beginners or lighter camping experiences. I am curious to see how the little bump out storage areas hold up during a steady rain? Due to the usage I have to rate this tent at a 3 until I can experience more with it. Coleman CS was poor to fair regarding the degradation of the Intant-8 tent. No repair parts, just 25% off my next purchase. The only reason I made this tent purchase was due to a sale and adding the 25% off. For longer term stays, I'm going with canvas! Keep in mind also, I'm a car camper, not a hiking/back pack camper. I hope this help. If I can supply another review after further usage especially through some rain, I will.
