Description
Replace a broken tent pole section and keep that durable tent going for another season. Use this handy kit to replace one broken section within a fiberglass pole (if you need to replace an entire fiberglass pole, look to the Coleman Tent Pole Replacement Kit instead). This kit works on all tents with 11mm diameter poles—be sure to measure carefully or call Customer Care for help if you’re unsure. The kit includes poles of various lengths that can be cut down to just the right length for your project.

Useless and missing items.
The poles were not the same length and the needle provided wouldn’t thread thru all of them. No elastic was provided even though it was stated in the kit. The needle also wouldn’t thread thru the metal endcapa so those were useless as well.
I contacted customer service and they wanted pictures including our package label with address. “Because sometimes things are delivered incorrectly” according to their reply email. I’m complaining about a received item with my order number, why this is necessary is beyond me.
All in all, don’t bother purchasing this item, waste of time and money.

Good enough. Happy with purchase.
Kit was appropriate for use. Recommend clamp pliers to reuse the original elastic cord while rethreading through new poles. Didn't want to use the threading tool; didn't seem easy to place new cord through the bent tip.

This is a pointless kit
Useless kit. takes too much work and customization, and can only repair one or two sections. Bought a new tent instead.

Snapped in good weather
I bought this replacement pole kit from the Coleman website to replace the original pole that had snapped in moderate wind. The replacement pole snapped without any inclement weather after having been inserted for less than 24 hours. The tent that I was using it with has a symmetrical design with two large windows on either side of the tent. The replacement pole was used to create the arcing structure for that window. I'm concerned that the tent in question was poorly designed causing too much stress to the window fly section. It's concerning mostly because the other side of the tent, which was staked out at the exact same measurements, did not experience an issue. I was very happy with how quickly Coleman delivered the kit and the consistent updates as to the shipping information. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this particular product. It may very well be a bad tent more so than a bad pole. Either way, I'll be looking for a different style of construction in future.

After spending a lot of time calling support explaining what I needed they said this was the right kit for one of the main pole in my Evanston 6 person tent and this was totally wrong. Kit was unusable…

Easy to use kit
Great kit, easy to measure, cut, and repair. I used this to repair a 7-man fast pitch tent, cutting only a couple of inches off the longest piece. The long shock cord threader is particularly useful!

Would it be too much to ask to have you specify the lengths of each of the poles? Or, to just offer and entire new pole kit for my Coleman some darkroom tent? Used this tent once for a week long trip last year and it barely survived.
