Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best tent ever Having had many tents before I decided this time to spend the extra money for this one and I'm sure glad I did. The tent stays at least 10 degrees cooler which makes it nice after a long day of hiking where you can lay down for a break without baking before getting the fire going for dinner. The quality is far more superior and has outlasted some of my other tents after the first year. Looking forward to this years adventures not having to worry about the tent failing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GREAT VALUE!!!! The IDEAL tent for a young family starting out in camping. Simple setup in good or bad weather. Dark interior is FANTASTIC for sleeping in or for children taking an afternoon nap. The zip-up electric portal is the icing on the cake for that electric cooler or charging phones and laptops. I use my tent for travel camping. Fits nice and tidy in my duffle bag while flying/driving to my destinations. I only wish the tent had a screened rainproof porch where I could lounge around in or remove my wet clothes in separate from the sleeping area like European tents do.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Much better than I hoped for I used this for a long weekend getaway and we over slept until 10 am something that we have not done in many years it was wonderful we did have some rain on Sunday but we were safe and dry. I would recomend this tent to anyone who wants a good quality Camping experience.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy to use I used this tent all summer including a 30 day road trip to the arctic circle where the sun never sets. It was easy to put up, did well in thunderstorms and wind. It will hold a queen size mattress, but that is the entire interior of the tent. There was plenty of room for me and my giant dog. I took it down about every 2 days and moved to my next location, and it held up well. I purchased longer tent pegs and the little ones included in the package did work well for the ground type there. The door zipper gets caught if you aren't careful, but overall I was very happy with it. One of the tent poles broke in a windstorm last week. I hope to find a replacement so I can continue to use the tent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great tent for us! My husband and myself went camping with this new tent and it worked out very well for the 2 of us. We liked the room darkening feature very much. We would even like the option of making it darker yet somehow, if Coleman could design something like that we would be interested. We had a fair amount of rain during our camping trip and the tent didn't get a drop of water in it. We would recommend this tent.

I love this tent. we use it for our family of 4 and 3 dogs, i will not lie that makes for a tight fit but we always use another tent for dressing and storage so this works for us. I love it because i have issues with sleeping and the light always wakes me . this Tent is dark and i love it ! Very easy to put up it really only takes one person.

Right after the first use the zipper for the carry bag stopped functioning correctly, I let that issue go as I was not too worried about it. I just recently used it again, the second time every used mind you. After taking the tent down from camping in the back yard with my kids, one of the poles fell apart. It looks like the bungy cord used inside was faulty. The tent has always been kept in a cool dry bedroom, so there was no issue with how it was stored. Tried reaching out to Coleman but they do not seem to care much.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quick and easy set up Tent worked great, although it is marketed as a four person tent, it is really a two person tent if you want to put in a bag or have a place to put anything other than lining up sleeping bags. The darkening features were helpful to keep the hot sun somewhat diminished. We had extremely high winds (40 mph) and heavy rain the first night. The tent was waterproof. We did suffer a broken pole because of the high winds, but I attribute that to the weather more than the quality of the item. We still need to replace it, but not sure how to go about that.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pleased Bought this tent for a campground wedding, and I wasn't going to use the fly cause I like a little light, and being able to see the sky at night, but then one day had rain in the forecast, and it POURED. The inside stayed completely dry, no amount of wind and rain made the inside even slightly damp. It was extremely easy to set up for this single woman, and fit my air mattress, suitcase, and dog quite comfortably.

The 1st tent, one the only use one of the corner webbings for the tent stake pulled off. Returned and got a new one figuring it was a one-off issue. Just got back from a 5-day campout with the replacement tent, and the same thing happened on this tent during a windy night. Looking closer the corner webbing is only attached with a single stitch line. Will be returning this one to Costco (unless Coleman wants to fix it) and move on to a different brand. Do not purchase...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great quality tent. I bought this tent for a scouting event. The tent bag has a pretty small foot-print - almost less than 1/2 of my 6 person tent. I definitely like the quality of this tent - the materials felt solid, and the seams looked very strong. Setup was very easy. The storage pockets on the inside were also very handy. I would definitely recommend this tent!

I bought this tent because it was big enough for both of us, and not a small fortune invested in case she decided she didn't like camping. She loves camping outside, so we have moved on to a bigger tent, but this is perfect for a beginner.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for weekend Camping! Coleman sent me this tent as a warranty replacement for my 4 person Skydome tent. The sundome is a better tent in my opinion. The tent holds up better in high winds. I used the tent for roughly 4 months straight in summer and fall months. The factory poles aren't very strong and split from high winds. I ordered aftermarket replacement aluminum poles to replace the broken fiberglass poles. The dark feature is very nice. The tent stays cooler and you get better sleep. After the 4 month of being set up the sun does bleach the dark color on the tent and it did split the fabric in a few spots. Overall the tent has plenty of room and is nice and dark. I would reccomend this tent for someone camping on short weekend getaways. If the tent tent is setup for long periods it needs to be protected from the sun.
