Well-engineered
Very impressed with the ability to withstand rain and water.
It rained so much camping that the tent floor and tarp below it became a rolling waterbed, but there were no leaks.
Great idea with the attached fiberglass poles so no camping trips are hampered by lost parts.
Fiberglass poles are some of the more sturdy ones to be seen.
Minus a star because I would pay double just to have a USA-made version and the instructions were a little hazy. Recommend someone roll through those again with a new user and mark up where it could be clarified.

Great price!
Great for a camping or outdoor trip with the family! We have only used it one time so far but it’s been great. It can fit a queen mattress and still room for our younger child to have her own little set up on the side. It stayed so nice and dark in the morning that we couldn’t see the bright sun early when it came up so we slept great! We fit a family of 5 but 3 smaller children in it and it was great.

Spacious and comfortable
This is a deluxe tent set up ! It’s spacious and comfortable. It easily fits a queen size mattress in it . It rained when we were camping and it stayed 100 percent dry ! Definitely element proof . We had 3 young kids and 2 average size adults sleeping comfortably. It was quick and easy to assemble! Even the kids helped . Same way taking it down , very quick and easy . We love this tent !

We love the tent we put it up and it's big and we can't wait to go back camping and use it again we love the color and how big it is for my family since there is 4 people in my family and 2 kids didn't even want to come out of it because they liked it alot but I want to buy at least 1 more of the tent and I wish I could of took pictures of it but my camar isn't working right now

Great Tent!
I am going to really enjoy this tent this summer! I set it up to see it. It is a lot larger than I had imagined! I am just under 5 ft tall and can stand up straight inside of it. The assembly was very easy and fast to set up. Take down was very simple and fast too. The material used in the tent is very durable. I will enjoy it for many Summers to come!

Durable and easy!
My family loves it! Sets up in a snap and is actually very easy to put back together in its bag. Was surprised how quickly the tent went up, and actually how spacious it is inside. Can be put together with the hood, or left open with the mesh to see the stars. My daughter loved the special night and will be looking forward to doing it much more often.

N finally I got skydome camping tent it's very good quality with good space. Material they use is very good easily can clean.

Affordable and good quality
I got this tent for my kids and they love it. It is very simple to set up and it big enough for them and all their gear. The tent has nearly vertical walls and a nice large door to move your gear in with ease. While we have not used this in the rain, the seams look to be of good quality. Overall, I am pleased with the tent.

The Coleman 4 person Skydome tent is amazing in every possible way. It packs up so small and compact. Its lightweight and sets up so easily. I love that the poles are attached so there is no chance of them getting misplaced with our other tents. Its spacious inside. Can't wait to take it on our many camping adventures

Easy Setup!!!
Love this tent!! I've always enjoyed tent camping but never enjoyed setting up a tent. This tent is so easy to set up and take down. Some of the poles are already attached so there's much less work involved. The bag the tent comes in expands because you know once you unpack it it will never fold up as nicely again.

Good Tent
The tent was used for a roughly 3 months during field season in northern SD (aug-oct). There was more than enough room for me and my dog as well as all my supplies. It was a dry summer but we did experience a few nasty rainstorms and the tent stayed dry inside and held up fairly well to the wind. In high winds the tent will fold in on itself. The rain fly ripped in one spot and one of the tent fiberglass poles split from high winds. The pole which holds the rain fly propt up like to pop out in the wind. The tent is almost all mesh and works very well in hot summer temps. I wouldn't use this in winter however I did spend multiple nights with temps in high 30s and stayed comfortable and warm. It is very easy to setup and pack away. Overall I would say this is a great tent for an occasional weekend getaway in mild weather.

Durable and affordable
When I first pulled the tent out I noticed that it was easy to put it together. I set the tent up and my kids played and for hrs but I work nights and they forgot it outside and we had a bad storm and withstood the storm and is ready to go on our annual camping trip.

I get overwhelmed when it comes to setting up tents in general. Not this one! I was able to set up the 4-Person Skydome™ Camping Tent so easily, great material quality and fun to have especially that I share it with a dog too. My perfect camping tent for sure.

Weird poles, small bag, no windows but door
Purchased from Academy, this review does not reflect them, we love Academy. This tent is designed so the poles are attached but only in the back and is very awkward to put away. We folded and rolled several times and after many attempts squeezed it into the carry bag leaving the bag 1/2 unzipped. The instructions are not good. It only has a zip up window on the door. The entire top 1/2 is screen so the fly is needed for privacy and does not allow for air flow when on, such as a back window. We are big outdoors folks and our last tent lasted several years of regular use. We own a camp in the Suwannee River in FL and the tent is used by kids and guests often in all weather. I regret this purchase and will not recommend to anyone.

Spacious
I bought this to replace a backpacking tent. I needed more room, specifically some headroom. I bought a cot to sleep on and picked this tent for its height and footprint. It is realistically a 2 season tent as there is mesh all around except the door side. I wish it had a second window too. Used it recently in heavy winds and rain and it held up well. I didn't have to stake down the additional guylines. Setup and takedown is quick. Packs small. As with any tent package, get some aftermarket stakes. The supplied ones are only good in emergencies.

Not waterproof
I like tent camping and hiking. I used this tent this Friday and Saturday. It was raining and the weather tech failed my daughters sleeping bad was soaked and water on the inside around the door and corners. Disappointed extremely disappointed. I had Coleman tents growing up when I was in scouts they worked great. The sky dome is a waste of money I could have picked up a cheap Walmart tent for the same results.

Completely misleading
I bought this specifically because it boasted 5 minute set up on the label. I intended this for my 3 kids for simple back yard camp outs. After 40 minutes of "set-up" I realized what a terrible mistake I'd made. First, the directions don't even have words. There are obscure pictures that are tiny and difficult to decipher even where the "part" is that you are supposed to be utilizing. Not sure if the pictorial was an effort in simplicity but it's not working. Second, I had a true "5 minute" assembly tent and this is NOT a 5 minute assembly. I do not anticipate this ever being a 5 minute assembly regardless of how experienced we get using it. I regretted this purchase within hours of buying it. I can't even believe it's a coleman product.

this tent is a very nice easy setup with the poles that are already inside very spacious fits a air mattress up to a queen size it says 4 person but with the queen size mattress I would recommend two for kids maybe but two adults or two adults and a kid depending on space and comfortability. great material leak proof should last many years to come.

Nice tent!
Recently gave this tent a try out and overall I would definitely recommend it. First and foremost I LOVE the overall design of this tent, it's super unique in my opinion. This tent is pretty sturdy and isn't too difficult to assemble I found. Has a pretty adequate amount of room inside this tent as well. This is would I would recommend!

Didn't realize the top part of the tent was mostly mesh material the cover does help whwn its on but this was exspensive during crazy pandemic and nothing was available so i went for it..
Enough for 2 people with extra room on the ends for shoes etc and fits a queen air mattress no problem and has more room then others ..great for summer winter it will get alot colder in this tent i usually put shipping blanket down then aur mattress then another shipping blanket on air mattress for insulation set up and take down is easy because the outside snapping and only goes 1 way the inside pocket is nice to put a phone and battery bank in and some keys too the zipper door gets annoying because the material that hangs over the zipper gets caught alot kinda pricy amd cheaper better options out now

Not what I expected
I wasn't sure what to think when I opened the package to find that 3 of the sides of this tent are all mesh. I was worried it wouldn't keep me warm and I was right. I am a Coleman supporter but this tent was a disappointment. Not to mention the one seam on the rain protector ripped after one use.

Affordable and durable
We got this for my son who wanted to camp out, behind our house with his friends. They are all around 10 and put the tent up them selves and it fit 5 of them. Easy assembly and plenty of room. I love that it is affordable an is not cheaply made.

Easy, light and fast
I almost didn’t believe the tent was delivered because the packaging was so small and light! My 6 year old carried it around in its carrying case! The setup was super easy but we have put up numerous tents and don’t consider ourselves newbies.

This is one awesome tent!
Wow - this is simply perfect for a weekend getaway. It is HUGE - the 3 of us have plenty of room to do things and to sleep (sprawled!). Looks like more camping in our future. Great tent - really looking forward to more trips.

Nice Quality
The Coleman 4-Person Skydome Camping Tent set-up was a breeze even though it is not an instant tent. It is very roomy and holds up well threw wind and rain. Not even a drop of water inside with periods of downpours.

Hello! Thank you for your question. Please be advised that Coleman's MINIMUM hydrostatic head rating for the fabrics in this tent is 450mm. During batch and periodic quality testing we find most of the materials test at a much higher rating. Waterproof materials do not 100% translate to a waterproof tent. The waterproofing of the tent is measured by our rain testing, which simulates a 6&quot; per hour rain. To make our tents as waterproof as possible we tape all of the rainfly seams, use our WeatherTec inverted seams in other area, and use a patented welding process. We also enhance storm worthiness by our rainfly designs. Specifically our rainfly's extend in such a way that runoff or dripping water is unlikely to fall on a door or window area when the tent is properly setup and guyed. Last we use polyester tent bodies and rainfly's, which adds inherent waterproofing as polyester is a hydrophilic (water-fearing/shedding/repelling) material.
