Rated 5 out of 5 by JRae from Great Tent. Set up a bit complicated We recently bought this tent and took it on a weekend camping trip. It was really spacious, and the dark room technology was super nice in the morning. I have a feeling we are going to love the screened in porch, and I really like that my dog can sleep separately from us (ticks). The only issue is that the tent is a little complicated to set up and the included instructions aren’t very detailed. I’m a lifelong camper and still had to watch a video to figure it out, but basically the tent needs to be staked out to retain it’s shape. The ground where we went camping was loose and we weren’t able to get the stakes to hold in place, but we made it work. Hopefully this weekend will be better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Undkandp from Awesome tent! This tent is great! Every time I have went tent camping I wake up as soon as the sun comes up because it's beaming in the tent, not this one! With the room darkening technology it can be full sun and it's still dark inside it has plenty of room for a smaller tent I love that it has a entrance area to put your shoes or to keep from getting the rest of the tent dirty the pictures I made really do not do this tent justice it really is incredible and backed by a good name you simply can't go wrong with anything Coleman!

The features are much better and it has a lot more room then the one we currently own. I love the dark room feature. I think that is pretty neat. I also like the added screened room which is nice and provides extra space especially for your shoes, etc. The tent itself is lightweight and really easy to put up. Its nice and sturdy and made with good quality material. It is really duable. I also love the carry bag that it fits perfectly in. I love the brand name. It is a company we all know and trust and would defintely recommend this amazing tent.

I am a 36 year old woman and decided to set this tent up in the basement before taking it out into the woods to camp, just to see how easy it would be to set up and what I might struggle with. It was incredibly simple to set up by myself. Getting the poles attached and the rain fly over it took less than 10 min. The tent itself is very spacious, and the screened room is a great addition. Perfect to put our duffel bags and plastic totes that we don't want to leave outside. The dark room technology will be very nice, it definitely keeps a lot of light out! Can't wait to take the kids camping with this!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Great! We have used this Skydome 4-person tent several times. It is lightweight yet sturdy and so easy to set up. The first time took about 10 minutes as we got familiar with it, but each subsequent time took 5 minutes or less. It's helpful to have a second person, but I can do it alone without problem. We like the screen room to leave our shoes in, and also as a covered place to sit when someone is still sleeping in the main part. It could certainly also be used as extra sleeping room. There are several pockets inside to put items up where they won't get stepped on (I like to put my phone and eyeglasses in them at night). I like how easy it is to remove or fold back the cover when we want to see the stars. I was skeptical that the tent would actually be dark enough to sleep beyond day break, but it really is dark inside! I also appreciate how easy it is to take down and to store in the carry bag. We are very pleased with the Coleman Skydome!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Spacious and easy to pack away This tent fits my family of 4 (2 adults and 2 young kids). The removable cover on top turns the tent into a dark room. My kids and I have been camping out in our yard. There are insect netting that can be zippered down for ventilation. After use, this tent packs nicely into the bag with handles. Awesome tent for backyard or for the woods.

Took it to a weekend music camp out and were able to sleep in well past sunrise! The black out technology is so worth it! Also super easy set up! We are gonna go this weekend to New Hampshire and we’re going to use this tent again and we cannot wait to put it to use will review again after another great camping experience !

Rated 4 out of 5 by Joe Schmoes from SKYDOME TENT 4P SCRN RM DARK ROOM FIRST USE The functionality and quality of the tent is great. It's dark inside as stated and will easily fit a queen size airbed with approximately 8'x1'5"of space left for any additional items. The tent worked very well with keeping insects out and stood up to a little wind (I didn't tie it down). However, the tent I received had a tiny manufacture "L" shape tear on the second entry door of the tent. Hopefully, Coleman can assist me with resolving this issue. Other than this, I am happy with my purchase and want to continue to use it for years to come.

Please be advised that waterproof materials do not 100% translate to a waterproof tent. The waterproofing of the tent is measured by our rain testing, which simulates a 6&quot; per hour rain. To make our tents as waterproof as possible we tape all of the rainfly seams, use our WeatherTec inverted seams in other area, and use a patented welding process. We also enhance storm worthiness by our rainfly designs. Specifically our rainflies extend in such a way that runoff or dripping water is unlikely to fall on a door or window area when the tent is properly setup and guyed. Last we use polyester tent bodies and rainflies, which adds inherent waterproofing as polyester is a hydrophilic (water-fearing/shedding/repelling) material.
