Poles keep this unit from a 4-5 rating
I bought this 6 person unit about 1.5 years ago and it is wonderful for the space and kept rain out beautifully. The screen area is great for keeping gear when you are out hiking or sleeping. The posts, however, are what drag this down to a 1 rating.The unit doesn't seem to stand up to wind from 10-15 MPH. 15+ and the tent will lay flat on the ground. Over the weekend I had setup in occasional wind gusts of 20-25 MPH with steady wind of about 10 MPH. The grey pole body broke and poked a hole in the sleeve. You toughen up the poles and this unit could easily be a 4-5 rating.

Withstood the Ontario Derecho Saturday May 21st 22
Well the tent was put to the test this past weekend. We were camping and gale force winds with all kinds of rain and hale came up out of nowhere. Much stronger than the 35 rating on the bag. After bunkering down for what seemed to be forever (likely 10 minutes or so), the tent held its ground and when all was over not a broken pole or a drop of water inside. The tent is very easy for two people to put up and tear down. I highly recommend this tent.

SOLID TENT - COLEMAN QUALITY
A very roomy tent. Color coded poles and clear directions made setup pretty intuitive. That being said it is a large tent with four poles and numerous stakes. helps to have two people for set up and take down. I got the set-up fine-tuned on my second time. A rain/sleet storm rolled in just as we finished set-up and the tent performed perfectly. We really liked the screened porch and the front enclosure; when ity rains you can tuck your chairs/coler etc in the enclosure until the sun comes back out. good for a dog to shelter in, too.

Spacious but not watherproof!
Have been using this tent for 2 year and really like the space and the covered screened porch. In 2 years I have probably spend around 10 nights in it last time it was used, it rained all day (no wind, just moderate rain) and eventually water started pooling in the middle of the tent and leaking inside so I had to set up an additional tarp over it which is no ideal. In addition, one of the sections of the pole from the rainfly broke vertically in half.
Overall, its a nice tent but not design for rain as I dont see how it can be avoided the water to pool in the middle. Also, I have owned many tents over the years, including coleman, and have never had a pope fail before so that is disappointing.
For the price of the tent, it's ok but cant be trusted in the rain.

Poles broke
I purchased this 14 months ago and my last trip 2 poles broke (not the cord) but the piping split. I absolutely love this tent - as a true loyal and loving customer how can I get 2 poles for model # 2154685

poles keep this from a 4-5 rating
The poles don't seem to handle wind over 10 MPH very well at all. A couple times the wind got gusty up to 20-25 MPH and the tent laid down on the ground till it dropped low enough for the poles to stand back up. The tent is wonderful on its own and kept rain out quite nicely. A grey pole broke and poked a hole in the sleeve during gusts of 20-25 MPH.

Good, very good, not great…
Great spacious tent. Screen room is a nice addition and is covered. I have no issues with how the windows are only zipped on the sides. Still waiting to try in the rain to see how it holds up.
I do see the problem with the mesh ceiling and the rain fly collecting condensation, then dripping down.
Otherwise, I like this tent so far.

Terrible Accessory Design
Seems you can't buy a replacement rainfly. And with the design of the totally open mesh, the tent becomes near useless as you can't even keep out the morning condensation. I'd change my rating if the rainfly becomes available to reasonably purchase separately.
