Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sturdy While the tent claims to be 5 minute setup its more like 15-20 the first time, not knowing where the poles and ropes hook and such. But after all that it seems like it would be a breeze to set up now that I know where things go! I really like that the main poles are pre-attatched to the tent so its easy to keep track of and easy to disassemble. The "Dark Room Technology" is excellent so you don't get woken up by dawns early light! And it even comes with a little tent fabricated "mat" for the front of the tent so you dont bring dirt and such inside the tent. Overall the quality of this tent is outstanding, I really like the design concept and how they are making it easier for regular people like me to setup!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy set up tent This tent has been much needed for my family. We typically go camping during the spring, summer, and fall but couldn’t wait to set this tent up in the yard this weekend. My son loves it and played in it all day. The tent was quick and easy to set up and took less than 5 minutes for me. I enjoyed how the tent was built to block out the light which will come in handy during our camping trips. There was plenty of room for my family of 3 and our queen size air bed. The material seems to be heavy duty and good quality. My son ran in and out and tracked dirt in but was easy to wipe and sweep out.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Extremely easy setup! I recently used this 8-person dark room skydome camping tent by Coleman for a camping trip I went on with my son and a group of his friends. This was the quickest and easiest tent I have ever set up. It fit 2 queen sized inflatable matresses comfortably and the dark exterior helped to block out the blinding sun during the day. Where we camped, there were plenty of insects and at night the tent did a great job of keeping them out. It was also rather windy at night and the tent held up perfectly. The next day, it was a simple task to take down the tent and put it neatly back in the accompanying storage bag. This tent is high-quality, durable and a premium product and I would highly recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from EXCELLENT DESIGN, LOTS OF ROOM, and HIGH-QUALITY This Coleman Dark Room Technology tent was EXACTLY the type of tent that I needed because it is made of high quality material, cutting-edge tent design, and lots of room for the price. Initially, I thought it was going to take me a long time to put this tent up, but it really didn't. It was fairly easy and once it was up - WOW!! - I was thoroughly impressed with design, the way it cooled down the temperature during the daytime, and kept me warm at night. If you need a tent that is environmentally-friendly and LOOKS-STYLISH, this Coleman 8 Person Dark Room Technology SKYDOME is it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Tent. Easy Setup! This tent was so easy to set up that my 2 kids (13 yrs old) set it up in about 10 minutes on their own. It's a really cool tent. Pro #1 - Easy setup Pro #2 - the Dark Room is truly very dark. Once you get in and shut the door, it's very dark in the tent. Pro #3 - When the dark room cover is down, the dome is wide open and breezy. It's perfect. I can't wait to use it with the family. It's a great size. My family of 6 would do well in it. We also have a 12-person tent for when we are going to be out longer, but I love this one for the darkness. If you like to sleep in a bit, this is perfect.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Take it on your next adventure The Coleman Skydome Darkroom 8-person tent offers quick setup and reliable performance for outdoor adventures. It includes "Dark Room technology," which Coleman claims blocks out 90% of sunlight. I'm not sure how accurate that specific percentage is but it is noticeably cooler and darker inside the tent than would otherwise be expected, making it easy to sleep after a hot day or take a nap while the sun is still up. Construction is sturdy and it has a spacious interior, making it a great choice for camping trips with family. It's relatively easy to take down and get packed away, and includes a carry bag for transport & storage.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent craftsmanship and technology We are so very happy with our family’s new tent! We are a family of four but if you are familiar with the camping world, a tent made for four is not actually super comfortable for four humans! I like to have some room between beds/bags and whatnot rather than be piled on top of one another. This tent is actually so generously sized I think, depending on individual sizes, it could possibly sleep 10+! And I LOVE it! It’s like they were actually considering campers’ personal affects in the design which is so refreshing. I also love the dark room technology. It is absolutely fabulous and really makes the tent feel so calming at any time of day. Not much is worse than wanting to sleep in a bit to the blazing sun in your eyes at 6 am. Cons: It did take closer to 30 minutes to assemble, and it was frustrating that it didn’t easily fit back into the bag after disassembly. But this seems to be the case of pretty much every tent manufacturer ever. Tentmakers, if you are listening, why oh why can’t you make the bag just slightly larger than the tent?! But I digress. This is a wonderful tent and I do highly recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great size! My family and I really enjoy this tent. We have a family of four, myself, my wife, and our two children. There’s more than enough space for us to be comfortable. The kids can also play a bit in it, and there’s plenty of space for that. The dark room feature is fantastic. It truly keeps our bright sunlight which is nice when we’re camping in specific places that are brighter than others when the sun rises. It’s so quick and easy to put up, which is great when you have two kids running around. The quality is amazing and I can tell that this will be going on many trips with us.
