The unique design features a room divider and 2 doors (front and back) so you have two entrances, making it easier for your group to get in and out of the tent. The nearly vertical walls offer more headroom. Plus, a wide door design means you can move airbeds, sleeping bags, and other gear in and out with ease. Large door awnings provide more weather protection and better airflow. An E-port makes it easy to access an extension cord so you can bring electrical power inside your tent. This tent features the WeatherTec™ system with a tub-like floor and patented welded corners, while inverted seams and taped seams on rainfly and tent body help keep water out. Rated 4 out of 5 by from Big and tall So this 12 person tent is big. and the middle of the inside is tall. You can actually stand straight up ( for average height peeps. It IS 7 ft tall about in the middle) but I only gave it 4 stars cause I can’t see 12 people sleeping in this unless you were in a refugee camp and had to squeeze that many in. No offense to refugees. It is though, a good size and has pockets for your stuff. Decent price for what you get. It looks like it’s waterproof I just am not sure cause it barely rains in California. And I like the air ventilation. Some tents don’t have that and it makes me feel like I’m suffocating.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This tent is huge I am really happy I tried the Coleman Skydome 12-Person Camping Tent XL. It is a really big and spacious tent with lots of room for a family. I love that you can stand up straight in it with plenty of head space. No more aching back from being bent over all the time. The connectors are easy to use and the zippers work smoothly. The flooring material comes up around the sides enough to ensure water doesn't get in. There is a lot of venting on this tent. Opened up there is good air circulation in it. The instructions were pretty easy to follow. The first time setting it up did take more than five minutes. It actually took closer to 30 minutes. I enlisted the help of my husband and son, both of whom are Eagle Scouts so they have a lot of experience with setting up tents. After the initial set up it took two people about 15 minutes to set it up the next time. I am not sure one person would be able to set it up alone. The netting seems pretty light and I am worried it could tear pretty easily. I make sure everyone is careful around it. The pre-attached polls made it difficult to unpack and pack back up. It is difficult for two people to put the rain fly on if there is much of a breeze. It is a big tent to handle. Having more people helping might make it easier to handle. Other than those details it is a great tent. The size is fun and comfortable. We are happy to have this tent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Spacious! We used this on a small road trip. We are a family of 5 (4 adults and 1 teenager). The tent is advertised to fit 12 people and 4 queen air beds. It was definitely spacious for our small party. I particularly enjoyed that I could stand comfortably in the tent. The setup wasn’t that bad. It can be done in 5 minutes like Coleman claims but we took about 10-15 minutes because we weren’t used to pre-attached poles. It was more difficult to figure out how to pack it away. The materials are high quality and seems quite sturdy. I liked the mesh pockets for some easy storage. For this huge of a tent, the weight is justified and I liked how compact it was when packed. I recommend this tent for parties of 10 and lower. Plenty of room!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A great tent! This Skydome 12- person camping tent is awesome! It was plenty big enough for our family of 8, and we all were able to spread out and not be cramped. It has a room divider, which is great if you are camping with friends and want to split into groups. Also the rain fly ensures you stay dry. The tent itself was fairly easy to put together, however the directions could be clearer. If we hadn't set up a tent in the past, we might have been a little lost. Overall though, we really enjoyed this tent and are looking forward to using it in the future.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Tent, but door needs some attention We got this tent to replace a large family tent (not a Coleman) that was getting old and leaking a ton when it rained. I had a smaller version of this tent and it always worked great, with the exception of the zipper on the door, which eventually broke, but only after many years of use. This tent is also great - it kept us bone-dry in the rain, has a lot of space for the family and the dogs, was easy to put up, and was easy to put away. The only issue I have is that the bar that supports the rain fly over the doors pulls the door so tight that the stitching was starting to pull out on the zipper on the first day of use. Again, the tent is great otherwise, but will be disappointing if the door becomes unusable so soon.

We like to go camping and it was always an ordeal because we would have several different tents. No more! This thing is huge!!! It fits two queen air mattresses and has so much room. It is very well made and very easy to put together. All of my family are always commenting how awesome this tent is.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent tent-fix zipper This tent was life changing. I’m not a camper. I wanted something I could stand up in to get dressed and fit multiple air mattresses. Having a spot to run an electrical cord in and plug in a fan and coffee pot is amazing. I’m taking off a star bc the zipper is super annoying. It’s constantly getting stuck and you can’t zip/unzip one handed. I still love the tent and would recommend to anyone. Putting it together definitely took more than 5 minutes the first time lol. But set up/take down is super easy-once you get the hang of it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So easy I got this just in time. My kiddo was having a camping sleepover and we got to use this tent. It really does set up in five minutes. My kiddo helped me and she loved it. As soon as we got it set up she seen how big it was and said wow!! We get to sleep in here?!?! I heard giggles and laughs all night.
