Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect 6-person tent! This Coleman 6-person tent perfectly meets our camping needs. It’s super quick to set up with poles already attached to the tent. I love the color coding to help figure out which way to set up the rain fly. It holds up exceptionally well to the elements – both wind and rain. The walls aren’t as rounded as most tents, so it’s much more roomy, and it’s almost tall enough to stand upright. The door is bigger than most so we can easily get our stuff in and out. It allows for great air circulation, with a vented roof. And I don’t have to wrestle with the storage bag – it expands nicely, so storing the tent back in the bag is easy. Great product, I’d highly recommend!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Coleman Skydome 6 person Tent Review. Quality made material, was fairly easy to set up but took us longer than 5 minutes but not much more time than that. We set it up on a day that was pretty windy and it held up great against the wind. Comes with spikes that are sturdy and hold into the ground well. A good majority of the tent is screen for great ventilation and fresh air and also has a cover that goes over that for rainy days or nights and/or to protect from the wind. Zippers work well. The size of the tent is huge and can easily fit 6 people to sleep. Has a nice wide door and great head room. I highly recommend this tent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome tent Got this and went camping on for 3 nights and the tent performed flawlessly. We had rain a couple of nights and even though I didn’t have time to treat the tent with waterproofing like usual we didn’t get wet at all. Set up was straightforward and take down. I really like that the poles stay attached to the tent to prevent losing them. The rain fly worked perfectly and even had a few small vents on it. This is stated as a six person tent and I’m sure it is with no gear but if storing gear in tent with six people I’d get a bigger tent. Overall I’m super pleased with the tent and really looking forward to camping with it again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very nice tent I really needed a tent that I could stand up in and would fit large air beds. This tent fits the bill. I have camped in the rain with no leaks It is very easy to put up and take down with one person. The only downside is that the poles are attached on one end. This makes it difficult to pack away. I feel like it’s only a matter of time before the pole punctures the screen. I plan on using a rubber band to keep them together and maybe even wrap them in a towel before I roll it up. Otherwise It is a great tent for the money. Unfortunately the price lowered by $57 a week after I received it and Coleman did not do price change reimbursement.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! The Coleman Skydome 6-Person camping Tent w/ Full Fly Vestibule was definitely put to the test this weekend as we celebrated the 4th of July weekend. First off this Tent was probably the easiest setup I've ever done. When the packaging says less than 5 minutes, they are not lying. Super easy! The materials are made extremely well. I felt super safe sleeping in this Tent. The amount of space this particular Tent offers was amazing. We did not feel cramped at all. The E-port was an impressive little luxury. The fly Vestibule gave us extra space on the inside. I was just super happy with this Coleman Tent and really hated to leave early. But.. I know that this Tent will get many,many more uses out of our little family. Thank you Coleman for another Amazing product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So far storm worthy This review is for the Coleman Skydome 6 with full fly vestibule. I purchased this tent from REI during the summer of 2021. I have spent 14 nights alone in the tent at a variety of NC state parks plus backyard set up. It has been through 4 moderate to heavy storms including one extremely heavy deluge that prompted flash flood warnings. I have not seen any water enter the tent. As for set up, if you can put this or any tent up in ten minutes, you are doing something wrong. You should spend that much time making sure your campsite is free of debris, determining a good orientation, and spreading your ground cloth. Did you stake out the guy lines? If not, you're not done. I have always used a ground cloth under this tent and have also started using a 7x7 tarp inside to protect from abrasion from my cot and chair. This tent has good ventilation but I recommend buying tarp clips so that the sides of the fly can be pulled away from the tent body. This should aid ventilation. I really like the huge door and the rectangular vestibule closure- very easy entry and exit. This will be my go to tent into the foreseeable future and is inexpensive enough that I will probably replace it when it dies rather than try something else. I will be doing a lot of car camping in this tent.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Spacious!! We got this tent to go camping with our family. It is 4 of us and we found the tent very spacious. We felt like we could move around without issues. Something else that we like is the large vestibule where we could place our shoes and bags to protect the from the dew in the morning. Putting it together could be a little easier but maybe it is lack of practice. Overall is a good option for family camping trips.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I have a SkyDome 6 Dark and want a FULL vestibule I am a former backpacker and bicycle tourist, now too old for those labor intensive activities. These days I car camp and for car camping, the SkyDome 6 is surprisingly good quality for the cost. Sturdy material, good roomy design, fairly strong/ridgid poles that stand up to intermittent moderate gusts, and good ventilation. For the next few weeks, I am OFF GRID in the Arizona desert. The DARK feature really does provide significant cooling. However, the monsoon season is arriving soon, with strong winds and horizontal rain, and I wonder about the rain protection with the included fly. The DARK 6 design does not have much overhang above the door. I like the design of the FULL FLY VESTIBULE SkyDome 6, and wonder if that fly and vestibule would fit my DARK SkyDome 6?
