Home away from home!Awesome tent! Was easy to set up and tear down. The roller bag with the tent inside was smaller and lighter than I initially thought. Plenty of space inside, which help keep traffic out of the sleeping areas and gave the family a place to play board games in the center. Just took it out for a Cub Scout Family campout and was extremely happy with the tent. So much, that we have bought the additional tents to make three rooms off the six person tent. Biggest plus - Wife loved it so much, she is out shopping for our next weekend get away. Warning - large footprint, so will be difficult to use in small campsites. Definitely a great purchase.

Perfect Family TentWe purchased this tent combination (along with the additional small tent) for a family camping trip, as we have two small kids that still need their own sleep space. This worked perfectly. It took a couple practice runs to get the hang of setup, but overall it’s not too difficult. It rained our entire trip, and the tent did leak a little around the gear pockets, but considering the amount of rain we had, the tent held up great. We will probably seal those areas before the next trip. Be prepared for a large footprint, and the only e-port is in the main tent. Otherwise this is a great option for families with littles or large groups wanting a common space.

Disappointing connecting systemThis is a great concept, but badly executed. The connecting zippers (between the 6 person and 3 person connecting tents) are different sizes, which leaves several inches of bunched fabric and the perfect place for bugs and rain to come in. The "instructions" simply say "additional accessories are available for connecting your product with the other model which have doors and awnings in the same dimensions". This doesn't make sense, and there are no additional products that I can find anywhere online to support that statement. I've seen a couple of other reviews that have had the same issue. I would love to be proven wrong here and told that there is something simple that I'm missing, but in the meantime we have exactly what tents are supposed to be designed to prevent: a gaping hole for bugs and rain.

Not Like They Used to BeBought this to give us a little more room and to grow with our children so they each had their own space. Went up like any Coleman tent I've owned until it was time to connect the 3 person to the main 6 person tent. The zipperbdidnt seem quite right from the start because I expected some overlap at the bottom. Then as I zipped up the velcro pieces didn't line up and at the time there was extra material and a huge gap. Overall the quality from our 10 year old cabin tent and this one is a huge step in the wrong direction. I think I'll just buy a cheap tent and replace it every couple of years.

Zippers do not connect between 3 to 6 pers tentsI love the connect-ability and bought 2 sets of 6+3 person tents in summer of 2019. However, none of the 3 person tents are able to connect to the 6 person tents. Incompatible zippers. A replacement set was sent, but it had the same issue. The 6 person tents DO connect with each other; just not with the 3 person tent. I would recommend that you ask Coleman if the issue has been resolved, before buying this set. Customer service is helpful though!

Lots of roomThis tent combo is very spacious and comfortable for long stays. Lots of room for gear coolers food etc. without disturbing sleep space. A little dfficult to set up the first time but gets easier and faster every time.

great for what we needed it forI was going for the Octagon 98 tent, but my kiddo saw this and said he loved it because he could have his own privacy. We thought about it and bought it. Great decision! We later bought a extra set to make more room. Every...single...night it stormed...heavily. All tents held up like a champ! No leaks anywhere and no zipper issues. I put a thermal curtain above the mesh on top at night so the fan circulation was top notch.
