Rated 3 out of 5 by from First use This tent is very spacious. I bought it last November with the intention of camping with my 7 yr old little girl. Pitching this tent is where my problem was, and it happened to be the first time using this tent. One of the grey poles that open up one of the ends split down the middle attempting to insert it into position. We ended up having to use it as is, 2/3rds pitched. Now I need to spend more money for a new pole…………Bravo Sierra.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very nice, but complicated I picked mine up 2nd hand, and it had not been pitched yet. I lost the instructions somewhere, but was able to figure it out despite 3 poles for the body, 2 for the rain fly, and 2 little ones for the door, and at least the dozen stake down points were easier to figure out. That said once together it is a very impressive looking tent. Held up well in the rain and hail. Next time I'm buying a tent I will spring for the Coleman Fast Pitch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The most tent for the money, The most tent for the money, And it has some serious quality built in, this tent has come a long way from the first cabin tent that I had, (in the early 80’s & it was a Colman too) better materials lighter wait and the best part, It Stays DRY. !!! Love it. And this comes from someone who has done some extremely camping over the years in mostly 4 season doom tents in all 4 seasons. Now I can get the family to come along.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic tent for our purposes. My wife and I have a seasonal tent site at a mostly RV campground. We leave our tent up from late May - early October. We used this tent all of last year and are continuing to use it this year. It has remained dry and solid throughout the entire season both last year and so far this year, including a pair of 2-inch+ rainstorms a couple of weeks ago. We have it setup as our summer home, with area rugs on the floor and plastic bureaus and a hanging bar for clothes. I can't speak to how comfy it would be for lots of people, but for the 2 of us, it's great. We used it as-is out of the box, no seam-sealing, although we may do that after this year. The height makesnot easy for us to stand in, although we aren't really tall either. I would highly recommend this product although admittedly, your results may vary. You probably won't be using this for 5 months out of the year.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I Love This Tent I have had this tent for probably 10 years or close to it, it has been a great family tent and now plenty of room and comfort for two of us and dog. It is really easy to set up, although the rain fly is a little complicated however we rarely us it. The tent sans rain fly offers an amazing view of the stars at night. It is still in great shape except for two poles that I am trying to replace.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from This tent is affordable and spacious. We used this tent for the first time in November in Ohio and froze, even with a ceramic heater.. We realized after setting it up that the ventilation and rain fly system are for moderate and warm weather. We liked the space and the height. We had a question about some cover for the screen openings that would allow some heat retention? I would recommend it for warm weather camping.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Affordable & Durable I've had this item for awhile now and just used it again this weekend. Perfect for family camping or with friends. Set-up is easier with two people, but I've done it before by myself and had no problems. It's very roomy as we don't like cramped quarters so the most people we've put in here was 6 comfortably with air mattresses and room for everyone's belongings for 4 nights.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This is the WORST tent I have ever experienced!! I have over 50 years camping. The gray fiberglass poles for the sides are constantly breaking. I have replaced these pole three times and even added additional shorter sections (keeping same overall length of entire pole) in the hope it might reduce some strain on the pole sections. Total JUNK!

Rain cover, raining right through and also the bottom of the floor. We thought the sides would leak, no….it’s the middle! We thought we were getting something that would last longer, the one we got from Walmart for a play tent is holding up better!

I have had up to 6 adults overnight in the tent, and while it was close quarters, it was do-able. Usually it is just me in the tent, and it's a perfect size for me and my stuff. I also really like the hinged door on this tent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Over 12 years old, still going strong. I love this tent! We bought it at Bass Pro Shop back in 2010 or 2011. Our kids were small and there was a ton of room. Now our kids are huge and there is still a ton of room. Plenty for two adults on the large Coleman cots, a 6ft 13 year old boy, two preteen girls, and two large dogs. The screen ceiling is great. Lots of airflow for those warm nights and a fantastic view. The rainfly barely leaked on us one time during a very severe thunderstorm, but it wasn’t much and hasn’t since then. Emergency sirens were going off in the distance and trees were falling, but we did alright. The door pole snapped years ago but was easy to repair. It snapped again this past week but the door still worked fine. It’s a valid complaint though, as looking at other people’s pics, they all snap in the same spot. Our family has throughly enjoyed this tent. It goes up and down very fast and fits in the bag fairly easily. We are basic car campers. This tent checked all the boxes for us and still does after all these years.

It is not light by any means but for the room the wight it worth it. But it can take some time to setup with all the different poles and such and at night or in weather can be a real issue.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not 100% but very nice. I need the canopy. I need the canopy. It blew across the lake when the kids were helping me break it down. Very nice tent, roomy home away from home. Sure could use that canopy. The door pole pushed threw the rubber hinge but still works well. Can't use unless I get that canopy.

The tent had not been through any winds and we are always very careful and gentle went setting up and taking down since the poles did seem very flimsy to begin with.

Almost impossible to order the correct pole repair kit, have to order multiple kits to get all the parts required.

I think it is a design flaw and the bend of thr poles is too great across the tent. Had the previous generation of Montana and loved it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rainproof, Easy Setup, Lasted 5 years When I say I liked this tent, I really did. It was spacious enough for five people and gear and it kept us dry for four years of moderate camping (2-3 times a year). On the fifth year I had To waterproof it but the seams were failing, as ants were getting in, so we decided to pitch it , no pun intended. Because of this tent I only planned to go with Coleman when replacing it as I was happy with most of its features. I wish the springy door actually worked - we omitted the poles every time and just zipped up a loose fabric door because otherwise the tension was too hard on it. I wasn’t a fan of the door height from the ground and its center placement, it made it hard for little ones and shorter adults to step in and out of the tent and it could be awkward if we arranged the bedding near the entrance. I also wish it had a divider but I always made one out of a sheet, a clothesline and clothespins. I hope our next tent checks all the boxes since we know what we’re looking for now, but this one, even with my complaints, was pretty good as it goes.
