Rated 3 out of 5 by from Very Durable Very Heavy My wife and I love this tent once it is set up and tarped. The first year we used it in Franconia Notch and it torrential down poured for 3days and nights. Our whole site was tarped off and we stayed dry. The next time we used this tent I did not tarp at well and we did get a little damp. I was always taught to tarp off your tents. That being said the screened in area is nice for things you want close by but not IN your tent. I will say the poles are VERY heavy. This tent takes up ALOT of space in the car or carrier. We’ve had this tent for about 5 years, keep saying we’re going to get something smaller but we keep using it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from TARPS TARPS TARPS! We put this tent thru the ringer. It was lived in for two months in the dead of winter in British Columbia. Withstood two feet of snow on the roof and didn't collapse! However if you expect any tent to withstand any type of wet weather without properly using the guy lines and tarping off both under the tent and above you are sadly mistaken! Being from British Columbia and having spent most of my time in and around the Bush I can tell you that this tent is awesome I mean two months of constant use near two months of rain/ snow with not a single issue. But you have to tarp it off!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Failed to meet Expectations but has good features Bought this tent for camping in Michigan. For a tent marketed as a "weather master" tent suitable for any weather and season I did not expect this tent to leak on our first use, nor the poles to be rusted on the insides where they come together after that first use. The tent is the perfect size for my partner and I. The "D" shaped door is definitely one of the best features. We were concerned about the screened in area not having a floor but this ended up being a bonus as it kept water from pooling up out there during the rain storm. An outdoor flooring that water could go through like an outdoor camping mat would be the perfect solution to that screened in area. I really wanted to love this tent but it definitely does not perform at all as advertised where weather is concerned.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Is a Weathermaster in my book Have taken this out on 5 weekend trips. Easy to assemble. One night we were hit with a complete downpour for a good 30 minutes, then heavy rain on and off the rest of the night. We put a ground tarp down before pitching the tent and set the rain fly up properly. Tent stayed dry. Would recommend to anyone. The door is also a great feature, especially if you have kids.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Resistant and comfortable Easy to mount, sturdy and durable. Great for sunny days and lots of heat. I use it here in Brazil where the climatic conditions are conducive to a tent with many windows and excellent ventilation.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don’t recommend It. This is a great tent. HOWEVER, it is discontinued. If any of the poles break Coleman can not give you replacements because they are no longer made. I have searched several other sites and can not find replacements anywhere! We were only able to use this tent once.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not rainproof! Great tent as long as it doesn’t rain! We used this tent for the first time last night in the rain! Let’s just say we got wet & didn’t sleep well and so did the inside of our tent! I’m not sure why we went put up the top to keep rain out!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Large, but not a long term tent We had one for roughly 2.5 years and loved it initially. The layout is nice, the side door was very handy. The tent is very spacious. The porch is not a place to store dry items. The small fiber glass poles started fraying at the ends of the tubes. I guess the bending separated the fiber glass itself. One of the stake loops pulled out on the cover. Without a healthy application of camp dry it will leak. Our tent finally gave up the ghost this year when the stitching around the front porch flap completely separated rendering it useless. We probably got a dozen solid uses from the tent, but may be looking at one a little more durable for the next one. It is a really neat design I will say that.
