Zephyr™ Cup Holder Fan
Now you can always enjoy a cool breeze on a hot day with the Coleman® Zephyr™ Cup Holder Fan. It fits in any standard Coleman® cup holder, and it also sports a mini bail handle to hang from the inside of your tent or shelter. Once you have it in place, the pivoting head lets you direct the comforting breeze exactly where you want it. And rest assured that when the next heatwave comes, you'll have the power you need, because this fan is protected by the BatteryLock™ system, which stops battery drain. On a normal battery-powered device, there is typically some residual drain as long as the battery is connected in the circuit, even when the device is off. By simply rotating the bottom of the fan, you can completely disengage your batteries, so they can be stored in your fan for years (up to their inherent shelf life). You’ll also reduce the toxic corrosion that can damage your device. So no matter how many days you sit out in the heat, this fan will be ready to make your day a little cooler.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Mikey77 from Poor Air Flow Let me start out and say the quality of the unit is solid. No question. Adjustable fan head. Good. That’s about it. The fan absolutely does not put out ANY decent air flow. Period. The fan design is poor as the motor is mounted in front of fan which makes Zero sense and the grid is huge. Both disrupt the air flow. Not to mention the basic fan blade design. I can get the same air flow from a Computer fan and a 9v battery. I usually never post reviews. Specially on a $25 fan. But this product really frustrated me. I am an avid outdoorsman. And own other battery powered fans but forgot mine this last weeekend with hot weather. I really can’t understand how Coleman engineers and quality control let this unit hit the shelves. Unfortunately save your money and look elsewhere for a battery powered fan. If Coleman wants to contact me regarding this unit. Please do so. Specially someone from product R&D.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Uncle Wally from Failure Coleman makes great products. I have relied on them for many years. But what were they thinking with this? Poor design and confusing way to install batteries. Tried unscrewing the "battery compartment" and plastic pieces cracked into many pieces. Was this a science project for an intern? Two thumbs down on this Coleman item.
