I had adjusted the straws and the sound persists. I had loved these two bottles... but not they seem to be unfixable.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great but doesn’t last They work great snd don’t spill but on one of the bottles the rubbery clear part under the lid where the straw pushes into has a hole. We can’t find a replacement part. It really only lasted a few months. Got these because they look like the lasted.

Bad thing is that after few washes spout gets nosy and it can backfill and spray you if you don't release the pressure, usually happens when shaking bottle to mix addins.

This water bottle has so many great features. It holds 24oz of water. The bottle is a perfect size to hold in my hand. I love that it comes with a built in spout made of rubber. This makes the spout feel so nice on your lips when taking a drink. It also has a built in straw so you can always get to your last sip before you have to refill. This water bottle also has a push button to open the spout on the bottle. This feature makes me feel like my spout is always clean and safe from dirt or germs when im not using it i just push it back down. The push button is very easy to operate all you do is push it when you want the spout come up. And when you are finish you just push the spout back down .The bottle also comes with a handle on top so it very easy to hold it from there to. I am very pleased with how well this water bottle is made. And it always keeps my water cold. This is the best water bottle i have ever owned.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Deception it is practically impossible to wash the rubber in the lid. There was dirt that accumulated once the robber was removed. Unfortunately, it was impossible to put it back without breaking the lid. The bottle ended up in the trash.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Prefer older model, these leak I purchased three of these (July 2022) for summer and school. All three of them leak, even when I’m the lock position, so can’t go in backpacks or bags. My previous ones were amazing, really disappointing as the straw is great.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Deformed by dishwasher I loved the 17 days that lasted. I put it on the top rack shelf on my dishwasher, because the label said was safe. Sadly, the heat deformed my bottle and now the lid doesn’t fit. I wish washed washing by hand as usual.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent Warranty Service From Contigo I've purchased two of these. The first began to have problems opening the autospout after about a year of daily use. After soaking it in soapy water, then it began to leak near the top of the straw. So for a while I just removed the straw and tipped it up to drink from. Later, on purchasing a replacement, I saw the advertised limited lifetime warranty from Contigo. I no longer had a receipt, and wasn't sure if this would be called normal wear and tear. I went ahead and submitted a warranty claim to Contigo, supplying the needed pictures that it called for. Three days later and my free replacement arrived. I noted that the replacement arrived with the spout up. I think that may be to help preserve the springs for the autospout. Probably, if I likewise leave the spout open between daily uses, it might last longer. Also, at one point with using the first bottle I trimmed the bottom of the straw to a 45º angle, as some times the end of the straw would seal off against the bottom of the bottle. When I first got the bottle I tried to tip it bottom end up to drink from. That doesn't work! The air valve squeaks like a bird if you use it that way. Keep the bottom of the bottle down!
