Rated 3 out of 5 by Airamle from Not the greatest, but it will suffice. The original Ashland water bottle is fine (it leaks, but it doesn't have nearly as many issues as this bottle does). First, the hook on the back of the lid is worthless. The original Ashland lid had the clip built in so you could actually hook your bottle onto your bag, but the Ashland 2.0 doesn't come with a clip, and hooking a caribiner to it ensures that the hook can never close all the way, which brings me to the next point: When the hook is open, it interferes with having the straw open. Did they not test this product at all?? Finally, Important Purchase CriteriaQuality No, I do not recommend this product, because of the placement of the straw spout and the carrying handle design.

They want them to have a water bottle now that they cant use the water fountains due to covid. This bottle is a great size and he says he doesn't have to refill it as much now that he has a bigger bottle. It is perfect for school use since the little spout pops up and can be put back down so we don't have to worry about it getting all dirty or unsanitary if he manages to drop it. the button for the flip top can also lock so he doesn't have to worry about it going to open on accident . He is also going to be using it for taking it to baseball since its a well made water bottle. It is easy to clean also. Overall we are happy we got it for him.

Air gets through the straw so there’s air bubbles and now it’s incredibly hard to suck water up. I tried fixing it on my own and noticed that there’s some little piece of the straw that’s sticking out, it must be out of place. I don’t know how it happened, I know I didn’t do anything to break it. I’ve only had it a few months so I’m very disappointed!

It does such a good job of keeping my drinks cold when we are out at the park or on hikes. It is thin enough to fit in my stroller and backpack cupholders, and I love that the straw can be locked close when I am not drinking. And I especially love the color!

Not with this water bottle. It has a great locking feature which allows you to lock the spout so that it is unable to be flipped off accidentally wall in your back! I love this feature so very much. It makes it easy to use for sports, travel, as well as just every day use. I love this bottle so much, it’s kind a been my daily drinker. I truly enjoy the see-through design so I know how much water I drink, and also how much is left! I highly recommend this product anyone who is looking for a reusable water bottle. That locking feature alone is the selling point!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am constantly on a search for a fantastic water bottle, and I can say this one fits the bill. It is extremely important for me that the drinking spout can close and stay germ free, and also that the straw pops up with a button, so my hands don't touch it. I love that it doesn't spill when it tips over. I use the handle to attach it to either my backpack, purse, gym bag, whatever, and I never walk off without it. The color is gorgeous and stylish. I love this water bottle!

I love it’s a big size and the fact that it is see-through and you can mix fruit in it if you would like that at the top opening is big enough. It does seem to make a turkey sound when drinking through the straw so maybe if the straw was a little bit shorter it would help with this.

And even better when it has a rubber spout that flips out/seals and locks. It's easy to take the lid on and off to refill it. The downside of the plastic is that it sweats, much more than my aluminum bottles, and it doesn't stay cold nearly as long. Ice melts pretty quick. But it's still a great bottle and I use it all the time. Love the ergonomic shape it has and I don't need to refill it constantly since it holds 24 ounces.

Our 8 yr old grand daughter plays travel hardball and this bottle is perfect! With a carabiner clip it can be clipped on her side or bag while she carries her other ball gear and it holds a whole 40 oz. You can also always see what's left. The spout secures great and NO leaking ever! With the straw design which goes to the bottom she never needs to ever tilt the bottle to drink. Easy to clean. Quality material and design. It's definitely the perfect bottle for any sports player.

We've tried to fix it but are not able to do so. The bottle is relatively new and is in great shape so I would really like to replace the lid. I can't find replacement lids for sale.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a smaller Contigo bottle just like this that I love but I hated needing to fill it every couple hours so I was excited to find this larger one. This holds enough water that I only need to fill it twice per day. The straw is comfortable in my mouth and has good suction. The auto spout feature is convenient and easy to open even while I’m on the go. The bottle itself is durable. It has taken lots of tumbles and is still as good as new. I’m a huge fan of this brand & I highly recommend it if you’re in the market for a new water bottle!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Core Tritan Autospout 24oz Blue Corn just may be the best water bottle I've ever had and I've had many. I love my water bottles with straws and this one tops the cake. It even has a lock on the autospout button to ensure I don't accidentally pop it open while on the go. The cover over the spout is also an added bonus that none of my other ones have. Now I can be sure nothing gets inside. There's a handle to help me carry it when I'm out and about and the design makes it easy to hold as well. Ontop of everything, most water bottles have a plastic aftertaste that I don't like, while this one does not. Not even after forgetting it and drinking out of it later. Might never want to get a different type of bottle again!

The size is perfect - not too big and not too small, and the materials are top notch...not flimsy like some of the other brands I’ve purchased! I’m surprised at how cold my drinks stay, and the lid and spout are perfect for adding whatever powders you jay like to your water which is what I do. It makes mixing and shaking a breeze. Not only that, but the easy of drinking and mouthfeel of the bottle are great. I would recommend this to anyone and the value is a great deal too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had a Contigo thermal mug that I've used for coffee for a long time, and am so excited to have a water bottle now! I love this bottle, and I bring it everywhere with me. I put water in it before I leave for work, and it keeps it cold all day long. I love how the spout pops up with a touch of a button, and that it's easy to push back down to protect it from germs and dirt as I go about my day. I like the little handle on the top too, because it makes it much easier to carry when I have my hands full. I've knocked it over several times, and it hasn't leaked at all. The straw goes all the way to the bottom of the bottle, so it's easy to drink it all without having to tilt it to reach the straw. It fits perfect in my cup holder in my car, and in the cup holder in the cart at the grocery store. It is such nice quality, and I can tell just by holding it that it'll last a really long time. I throw the top piece in the dishwasher to clean, and it only takes a minute to quickly hand wash the main piece. Plus I think it looks cool!

We have tried so many different water bottles looking for the perfect one that suites all our needs. Contigo is our go to brand thanks to the variety of sizes and colors. The Ashland 2.0 water bottle with AUTOSPOUT has been one of our favorites for a long school day or soccer practices. This bottle fits into the side pouch on the boys backpacks and soccer bags. These are durable enough to be thrown on the ground (this has been tested over and over 😉) and still does not leak. Only reason I didn’t give five stars is because the sipping part is hard to clean and they are a bit pricey. Overall, would recommend for the durability and variety of use.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Bobby Timms from Not as good as it seems Edit: Reposting this since Contigo decided to delete this review the first time (for obvious reasons, it's not a good product) I have to admit when I first saw this water bottle it seemed great, then later on I started noticing issues: the first one being that if the bottle hasn't been resting right side up, when you go to take a drink the autospout will spurt water everywhere. Another issue is that there must be a leak somewhere in the lid that keeps sucking in air which prevents you from taking a full swig and its very annoying. Then there's the issue of the straw length: it reaches nearly right down to the bottom of the bottle, which was understandably designed to maximize the amount of water you can drink from the bottle, but the problem with this is that often the straw will directly touch the bottom making it impossible to suck any water from it. As another reviewer mentioned, there are nooks and crannies in the lid that are hard to clean. Just a disappointing water bottle overall. Simpler is better and this has too many bits and parts that will inevitably fail and render the bottle useless.

It is very light weight and the bottle lid being lockable leaves me confident it’s not leaking in my bag while I am hiking. After using this bottle on several trips I think I will be getting more for the rest of the family. Another benefit of this bottle is how easy it is to clean with the wide opening at the top. I highly recommend this bottle to anyone who needs a bottle and travels frequently.

Rated 1 out of 5 by MelBelle1017 from Such a disappontment I had purchased 3 of the previous version. I was devistated when I accidently left one on a bus bench. I had no choice but to replace it with this version. I am SO dissapointed. They removed the clip from the top, which I used all the time, but wasn't a deal breaker. The deal breaker for me is the new straw. It is HORRIBLE. In the previous version the straw screwed directly to the lid. The straw was long enough to get almost every drop out of the bottle. The new straw is so short it isn't close to getting everything out of the bottle. It also pushes into the lid via a silicone receiver. I tried putting the straw in low enough that it would get all the liquid out of the bottle. When you do that you loose suction because the receiver flares out. You have no choice but to push it all the way in to get full suction. Over time gravity lowers the straw in the receiver and you lose suction again. You have to open it up just to push the straw into place. I've had this bottle for a little over a year and last night when I pushed the straw back into place there was still a loss of suction. The straw no longer fits tightly into the silicone receiver. Yes, it does still have the same "spurting" problem as the previous version, but it is just as easily worked around with this bottle as it was with the last. It is caused because the bottle is air tight and pressure builds up as the bottle warms up. All you have to do is twist the cap just enough to break the seal. That's it. Now you can flip the spout up with no spurt. Easy Peasy and doesn't effect my rating of this product in anyway because I would that the bottle is that air tight.

We probably a total of 10 different models of Contigo water bottles, ane each of the are amazing. But this is the first 24oz we have and the extra water makes it special, because it means refills during the day. It is tall and thin so it still fit on both my cars cup holders. Excellent keeping the coold and hot temperatures of my berverages, no one better than the Contigo bottles. The Autospout Lid is also my first model, we only have it like that in all the kids bottles, it is easy to drink and don't spill water easily, also very convenient for a tall bottle not to have to lift to drink. Something also very convenient is the pivot hook to carry it, and garb it. The only down side as always with the metal Contigo bottles is that the paint peel of very easy. But everything else makes it the best water bottle of the market

This new version has an annoying straight up and down straw that gets caught on the carrying handle, not to mention the paint will eventually chip!!! I miss the original ASHLAND chill 20 OZ with the CARIBEENER, SLANTED STRAW, SLANTED CLIP HANDLE & STAINLESS STEELE OPTION!! Things for the design team to consider when creating replacement: -24 OZ with same bottom width as previous design (to ensure it fits in a cupholder! -REPLACE OLD PLASTIC CLIP WITH STAINLESS STEELE CLIP - DESIGNED EXACTLY THE SAME! (I never had any issues with the plastic one and I have used and abused my original Ashland cups!) -STAINLESS STEEL BODY OPTION (as the paint will eventually chip) -BLACK LID OPTION -KEEP LOCK FEATURE -GO BACK TO THE OLD SLANTED STRAW & SLANTED HOOK W CLIP!!

I have been looking for this exact same design lid with chilling option for a long time. I was so impressed after seeing this bottle. It keeps my water cold enough for a longer time than I expected. It does not leak from any position. Can be carried in my bag or in the car. It is made out of very good quality stronger material. This is perfect for summertime and I can enjoy cold water for a longer time. Highly recommended.

Stainless steel bottles are my favorite to drink from, this one can keep drinks cold up to 24hrs and keep liquid warm for 6hrs. The BIG downfall for me with this bottle is that you can only wash the lid in the dishwasher, not the bottle. When you have many bottles or other dishes, it's hard to keep up with which have to be hand washed so I end up throwing them into the dishwasher and ruining them.

The look of it is sleek, and the grip on it is perfect, won't slip out of your hands, and is a great size that will fit in your cup holder. It keeps your drink cold for HOURS, atleast 6-7 hours with adding ice. I love the push top that makes the straw pop up, which is a silicone material. The only complaint I have is when you do click the straw up, it will sometimes squirt water out that's been left over. Other than that, I love it. Easy to clean and overall will last you a long time.

I love that the drinking spout golds in as it keeps it clean and spill proof and the lock on the release botton is a extra protection so it dont pop open the liquid comes out great when you sip out of it so definitely would recommend this product as its a great quality and over all the best water bottle ive had.

It holds ice water fairly well on short trips but I drink alot of water. Love all the color options and is very affordable for its size. The only downside to it is if you put anything but water into it it does become rather hard to clean the area around the top spout. I do love that it has a soft spout versus a hard one so when I'm at the gym I don't have to worry about busting my teeth out while on the treadmill. I have 3 of these by the way. Love them all
