Rated 1 out of 5 by ValO from Sad I loved my 32oz Ashland bottle of the previous version and was sad to have to replace it when I lost it. This one was exciting because of the pretty colors, but that's about all that I like about it. The straw angle is difficult. It goes into the center of the bottle where the bump is at the bottom, so if you don't adjust it, you can't get any water out because the bump blocks it. And then when you do angle it, it angles away, making it more difficult to get the last little bit of water out. I don't like the new style of the handle at the top. I have to keep moving it when I set the bottle down and then want to drink. I loved the clip/carabiner function on the previous one, but there's no clip on this one. And after 2 weeks of giving it a chance, it started leaking, too. I don't have the packaging or receipt anymore, so this one is just going to donation. I've just received a new one of the old style and am glad to switch back. I would not recommend this water bottle, even if you typically love Contigo bottles like I do.

I’VE FOUND IT!! this water bottle is sturdy, easy to use, and easy to clean. I love that there’s a lock on it to prevent it from popping open while in my bag and It keeps my drinks cold for hours and I absolutely love it. I recommend this to anyone looking for a new water bottle

I have sensitive teeth so I always need a straw when drinking cold beverages, so this water bottle was exactly what I was looking for. I love that it has a button to flip open the straw. I also love the lock feature, it comes in handy to not have to worry about it leaking when it gets knocked over or is laying down. This bottle holds 40oz of water, which is the perfect size for the amount of water I drink on my workouts. The handle is very handy for carrying and I like that it easily comes apart for cleaning. So far this water bottle has worked at great for me, so I would definitely recommend purchasing.

It has a non leaking auto spout lid. I take it with me to work, and to the gym. It’s so convenient to have 24oz of water in the water bottle at the time. It helps me manage my water intake and reach my goal so much easier! I like that it’s spill proof, it’s made from a very durable plastic, it’s also clear so that you can see how much you’re drinking. It’s not too big and bulky, it’s actually tall and slim. There are many colors to choose from.

I have been a huge fan of the SS Contigo mugs for years and this one doesn't disappoint EXCEPT that I absolutely DO NOT LIKE the straw design. The original Autospout that has a screw-on straw made MUCH more sense than this ridiculous "2.0" design. No idea what their engineers were thinking but this is NOT an improvement. This is the only reason I can't give it 5 stars - other than that, this is amazing at keeping my ice water, COLD. I've seen it hang onto ice for 48 hours before and was shocked when I opened the lid and saw cubes of ice still present.

This bottle is a very nice pale green color. It holds a decent amount of water. Very easy to drink from. It has a button on the front to lock it and to pop it. The only con I have with the bottle is it does not keep it cold long, not even if you fill the bottle all the way up with ice. It only seems to last a couple hours max.

I'm the type who doesn't drink enough water throughout the day unless I have something to remind me too which is why this water bottle has been so great to have on hand. I fill it with cold water in the morning and it stays cold all day long. This is definitely a quality water bottle and it's helping me to stay hydrated and healthy, win win!

The design is sleek and light but sturdy enough to withstand my four-year-old and myself. The small handle makes it easy to carry on our daily walks. The spout pops up easily yet locks into place securely. I am for sure more hydrated this week then I have been in the past.

Love the automatic pop up button, how easy it is to conceal the spout and how the handle can hide away for easier storage. The size is also perfect. There are times when I need to carry more water with me or when I just don't want to refill so often and this does the trick. The bottle itself feels thick and sturdy. I haven't dropped it yet but have some peace of mind with the material. Overall, I think this is a great product and cool addition to my bottle collection. Just make sure you have or get yourself some straw cleaners to really get into the spout but I really do recommend.

My son continues to choose this Contigo bottle. He likes that isn’t not a wild color or pattern and he really likes the locking lid as an extra leak protection tool. The bottle has never leaked and keeps water cold. I really like that it’s a straw spout so he doesn’t accidentally spill water all over his desk or computer. The only issue I have is that’s the bottle is really tall. Would rather have something shorter and wider. The height causes it to fall out of his backpack side pockets and it also can tip out of the car cup holder. Just a minor thing I would change. Overall really pleased!

Rated 2 out of 5 by Simons from Great when it worked I enjoyed this product, with it's sleek look and simple features. However, there were frequent issues with the pressure and opening. It spat water with every single opening, which was fine when it was only a few droplets, but during one occasion, it continued to erupt water like a volcano right after opening, spilling all over int he car. There was also a lot of water buildup around the screwing of the top, so opening it in any way was almost impossible to stay dry. And though I first appreciated the straw being part of the bend, it does create some extremely difficult to clean bends where a major amount of buildup occurred. Now, less than 5 months later, there is a hole in the straw in the top part of the cap, which is odd to disassemble to say the least. Upon taking it apart showed a small pocket where the buildup collected that would have been impossible to clean.

It is a bit top heavy when empty. Just like the previous autospout, this one leaks from the button (maybe water gets trapped there). I bought mine in Feb and in September it started drawing air. I checked the fit of straw and it was ok, but it still won’t work. It has always been hand washed and used very carefully. I have used 5 Contigo products in last 10 years and this is the only one that stopped working within few months.

I got this water bottle to have one to travel with. I love it so much that I use it full time now. It keeps my water cold, I love the autospout, and the handle makes it very easy to carry especially when my hands are full of other things. I would definitely recommend this!

The size is perfect to get me through my work day knowing that I’m drinking enough water. The shape of the bottle fits nicely in your hand and the carrying loop is an added bonus. The locking mechanism on the spout is great, prevents your mouthpiece from popping up and collecting bacteria. I was skeptical initially about washing it and how it may be difficult to clean, however, I was wrong. It comes apart easily and washes up perfectly in the dishwasher.

However, in less than a month, the internal straw in the lid broke. I couldn't use it anymore because a hole opened up in the rubber part, and it's no longer possible to drink water. I didn't do anything different; the straw broke internally in the lid, a hole opened up in it. LESS THAN A MONTH, I wasted my money.

The AUTOSPOUT lid is one of the best features because it opens quickly with one button and closes securely to prevent leaks. I can throw it in my backpack without worrying about spills. The stainless steel design feels durable and keeps the bottle looking clean and modern. The grip is comfortable, making it easy to hold during workouts, travel, or daily activities. I also like that the bottle is lightweight and easy to carry around all day. Cleaning and assembling the lid is simple once you get used to the parts. The bottle keeps drinks cool for a long time and works great for water, sports drinks, or iced beverages.

Rated 2 out of 5 by 2Failed from Straw functionality is terrible Compared to the previous model of this water bottle, this one is literal GARBAGE! I bought two of these due to my older version both starting to fail me after too many drops. I hate these new ones. For one, the straw is too long and always catches the bottom of the bottle, making it very difficult to actually suck up liquid. Two, the way the straw attaches is useless, the straw does not stay in where its supposed to, please bring back the "twist-on". Third, I miss the clip functionality of the lid, like why would you ever get rid of that????

The handle on top makes it convenient to carry and the handle can be put away when not in use. It keeps ice for 24 hours at least and very easy to clean. I did have an issue with the straw nothing water through it as it should. Checked the straw and reconnected it, no problem. .

It holds a good amount of liquid-40 oz. It keeps my drink very cold and no plastic aftertaste. No odors. Great for work and hiking. It has a leak proof lid with a flip top and soft mouthpiece. Keeps out dirt, dust and sand, Easy to use-just push the button and you have a cool drink. Made of thick plastic and well designed. Nice sleek bottle and a nuetrel color. Nice wide mouth to add ice cubes too. Recommended.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Sinezona from quality control disappointment I had the old model for years until I finally dropped it enough times that it broke. I then got the new Ashland as a replacement and was excited to see it came in a pretty lavender. After only a few months use the silicone mechanism broke and it was leaking and I was sucking up air through the straw. I contacted customer service and they were very prompt in getting me a replacement but after a few months use this one seems to have failed the same way. Additionally there's no way to remove the silicone mouthpiece for cleaning so mold builds up in there pretty quickly and it's very difficult to clean even when I purchased a brush designed for reusable straws. I was planning on replacing this with one of the other models with a more open mouthpiece for easier cleaning but the quality control problems have me a bit hesitant to purchase another contigo product despite how much I liked their older designs.

I am always looking for a water bottle that is completely spill proof as I am on the go a lot. Spilling has always been an issue. So has leakage!! Nothing worse than spilling or having your cup leak all over a client's home!! Not this water bottle. It's sealed right so absolutely no leaking. You have to unlock it in order to even be able to drink from the straw. Which means, I really don't worry about leakage or spilling!!

I recently had to purchase new Contigo water bottles because I lost one of the old ones & the lid of another one broke (it lasted for a very long time). The new lids are very bulky/heavy. There is no longer a clip which I used all the time (women have to carry multiple items everywhere we go so being able to clip the water bottle to your purse was very helpful!) and the new straw set up does not work well. The previous straws were a hard plastic & all one piece which worked great. The new ones are a more flexible plastic that does not always stay inserted into the lid even when you push it in tightly. I really wish you had stayed with the previous design. You know the saying, “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.”

I take it to work everyday and I have actually forgotten it over night and the next day it still had ice inside that lasted my whole shift. I have been using this since June and this morning I noticed I was not getting any water. Where the spout pops out has gotten a tear in it that’s preventing water flow. Right at the base.

It can be easily cleaned and is safe to put in the dishwasher. The lid's pop button is simple to push and close again. It does not leak when turned upside down or on its side when closed. Although it does leak a little when open, this is as expected, with only a few drops at a time. This feature makes it ideal for younger children. Moreover, it is lightweight, and there is no need to worry about it getting dented or scratched when dropped. Water stays cold as well.
