Rated 5 out of 5 by from 24 oz, unusual and great, other features superior Nothing is better! 24 oz is so perfect, better than most which are 20. Now it holds ice PLUS the drink. the lock, the pop-open, are usual and great. I love: wide mouth, dishwasher, finger holder thingy (strong). Only problem: when the rubber washer inside the top comes loose, bottle leaks. BUT everything else is so perfect, I found a way to fix: hold 2 sides of washer down with one pair of thin tongs, and with other hand use thin knife to push washer back in place. I test it for leakage before I leave house and fix before I go.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from quality control disappointment I had the old model for years until I finally dropped it enough times that it broke. I then got the new Ashland as a replacement and was excited to see it came in a pretty lavender. After only a few months use the silicone mechanism broke and it was leaking and I was sucking up air through the straw. I contacted customer service and they were very prompt in getting me a replacement but after a few months use this one seems to have failed the same way. Additionally there's no way to remove the silicone mouthpiece for cleaning so mold builds up in there pretty quickly and it's very difficult to clean even when I purchased a brush designed for reusable straws. I was planning on replacing this with one of the other models with a more open mouthpiece for easier cleaning but the quality control problems have me a bit hesitant to purchase another contigo product despite how much I liked their older designs.

I recently had to purchase new Contigo water bottles because I lost one of the old ones & the lid of another one broke (it lasted for a very long time). The new lids are very bulky/heavy. There is no longer a clip which I used all the time (women have to carry multiple items everywhere we go so being able to clip the water bottle to your purse was very helpful!) and the new straw set up does not work well. The previous straws were a hard plastic & all one piece which worked great. The new ones are a more flexible plastic that does not always stay inserted into the lid even when you push it in tightly. I really wish you had stayed with the previous design. You know the saying, “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.”

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My new favorite water bottle [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how the Contigo Core Autopop Bottle holds a great amount of liquid in it. Not only does this bottle look amazing in design but it has a button lock to ensure the bottle doesn't leak, it has a carry handle and is dishwasher safe! And as a mom of 4 my bottles tend to get put through the durability test as well as get knocked on the ground, this bottle passes both and has a lid cover to ensure dirt doesn't get in your drink. I will be buying more of these for the whole family.

It's large enough that I don't have to refill it as many times throughout the day however it still fits into all of our cup holders. I love the autopop feature and the wide mouth opening. And although I've never had a problem with any of my Contigo bottles unexpectedly opening, I am loving that this has a lock on it! The carrying handle is nice, too. I will be using this for a long time and am looking forward to purchasing more of this style.

I often find when selecting a water bottle its always difficult to find one that's easy to drink from but still seals up well. I'm a huge fan of the size of the opening too, its not so big that the kids cant drink from it but it is big enough that if you're really thirsty it comes out as fast as you can drink it! I included a picture of it next to a 16oz bottle of water so you can get a size comparison.

I started with one by my bed, then a stainless steel one in this style for travel and hiking. I then got one of this style for work, and love it! I've had it for over a year now. I just wish I could get this style in the coriander color.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Hate the straw insert! I’m very disappointed in the updated design. The old version had the straw screw in. This one simply gets pushed in by the user. If it’s pushed in at a slightly wrong angle, you either get air bubbles in your straw, or no water at all, if the straw ends up at the bottom of the bottle. Frustrating to use.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Design Flaw This is the 5th Contigo product we have owned. I like the flip-up spout design but the plastic shell around the mouthpiece needs some work. I accidentally knocked it off my side table onto carpet and the shell broke. It snaps around the silicone mouthpiece and now the tiny clips that hold the 2 pieces together broke off and it wont stay together any longer. I Super Glued it back together, not sure how long this will last. Needs a more robust design on the flip up mouthpiece. Otherwise, typical Contigo quality.

I usually use a water bottle when I’m walking or something so I prefer something that can be used with only one hand. The button to pop the lid open is perfect for this. I can easily open it no matter what I am doing when I need a drink. It’s a great size for me to easily carry in my hand and it holds a good amount of water. I love that the lid that screws off has a wide opening so I can put ice in my water if I want to. The best part about this is the lock for the button. Sometimes I like to just throw a water bottle in my bag. I can lock it so that it won’t accidentally pop open if anything bumps it. I’ve been trying to drink more water every day and this water bottle is perfect for helping me do that.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I wanted to like it I had the old Ashland with the clip handle for years and finally dropped it too many times and broke it, so I replaced it with this one. After a few months of use the silicone mechanism tore right under the spout so it's only sucking in air. I hope contigo's quality control hasn't gotten worse over all because I like the push button style water bottles and my last one was extremely durable. It's a great shade of lavender and I like the streamlined carry handle better than the carabiner style one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the opportunity to utilize the Contigo 24oz Ashland Water Bottle on several occasions now and absolutely love it. The cucumber color is refreshing and fun, and I love that this bottle is large enough to hold 24 oz of water/liquid. The Autospout feature is a really unique one and works with the simple slide of a button located around the lid. A simple slide and your water will not spill during a drive or walk! The spout on this water bottle is easy to drink from and this water bottle is simple to wash. The handle is durable and helps carrying the bottle to sports games a breeze! I am thrilled by the quality, appearance and function of this water bottle, as my water stays ice cold while walking and on day trips with my two children.

She goes through 3-5 a year by either losing them or breaking them! The benefit with this one is that there is no grime that build us within the straw mechanism. Also, for someone who tends to drop things, this bottle appears to be very well made and the we love that the top latches closed and can even lock so that when it tips over in my car, everything stays dry!

I absolutely love this cup and the simplicity of the auto pop lid. I love that it locks in place. Gives me peace of mind knowing there's no way anything is escaping. It's a great size for taking with you on the go. Holds enough that you actually feel like you're hydrated without being cumbersome to tote around. It's easy to wash and seems very durable. I would absolutely recommend this cup.

It keeps my water super cold and I never have to worry about leaking. Me and my son both use this water bottle. When I use this water bottle I know my drink is going to stay cold all day and I love that. The water bottle never leaks either. I can literally throw it in my purse with all of my possessions and know it’s not going to spill. I recommend this water bottle to anyone! Great product and brand!

But I LOVE this bottle. It doesn't make a weird squeezing noise when I use it like the Brita bottle. I love that you can close the top to keep it clean. I love the handle and the design is great. My only regret is that there is no filter and that when you release the mouthpiece you have to face it away or you get water in the face.

The 24oz size makes it great to get water intake without having to refill several times. It is very high quality. The auto pop spout prevents links and makes it easy to drink while on the go. It also looks very sleek. My water stayed cold for several hours until I was done drinking it. I would definitely recommend this Contigo waterbottle to others!

That one was not an auto spout as I prefer no straw. someone else in the house was loading the dishwasher and put bottle in for cleaning, Dishwasher deformed by the bottle where the lid no longer fits. I was really disappointed because it came from someone very special and I thought of them every time I used it. Reluctantly, I’ve had to replace it, and I got the auto spout this time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do not drink much water however at work we are only allowed to have bottles that are leak proof which is why I went with a auto pop water bottle as it is leak proof. I have dropped it multiple times and it has not popped open unlike the hydro flask I have that the top pops off of if it hits the floor hard. I recommend getting one if you are a water drinker or want a spill proof travel bottle.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great water bottle for one minute! Bottle looks good and worked great for one refill. After filling it the 2nd time the straw no longer works. Sucking on the mouthpiece will only draw air and a splash of water. I checked all the potential spots for air to enter the straw, the top connection is tight, no obvious gaps anywhere. The spout no longer flips up, so it appears the spring has failed, difficult to see. An expensive water bottle when it works only one time.

My oldest has been taking it to school. It’s made of solid quality plastic. It has held up to multiple drops from our kids. It easily unscrews into 3 parts (top, straw and bottle) for dishwasher or hand cleaning. I would recommended this bottle for adults or kiddos. I will be buying another one for my second son.

The auto spout is ingenious and doesn't leak! It has a look so you don't accidentally trip the auto spout button on the lid. The clip on the top of the lid is pretty strong and has held up to being hooked to my motorcycle and not breaking off. Really is just a awesome bottle.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't buy this bottle I bought this bottle because of easy opening and no straw, didn't realize it has a fatal design defect. The gasket in the lid fell out so easily and you are not going to notice until the water splashed out! I had to pick up the gasket and put it back a few times before it finally disappeared and my pants soaking wet. Believe me the gasket will fall out sooner or later. In my case it happened within a week of purchase.

My favorite feature is that it doesn't leak at all, you can turn this thing literally any way and don't have to worry about cleaning up a mess! I even bought my kids a few! My water stays cold for longer that I expected too. Easy to clean and store in a cabinet, it also easily fits into my car cup holder.

This is a great water bottle that is quite versatile. Would be great to use in a work out. I tend to use it as my bedside water bottle for getting those 2 am sips of water. I held it myself and I have small hands then asked my son and husband to hold it as they have big hands and they thought it was comfortable to hold which is ideal when working out. I think the auto spout feature is intriguing my only issue is I'm not sure how to exactly clean it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Short Lifespan I purchased this water bottle approximately 6 months ago and have used it only a handful of times as it's on a rotation with my other bottles. After 4-5 washes on the top rack, the straw/straw seal no longer works properly. No matter how many times I adjust the straw, I sip up more air than water. The bottle also leaks on occasion for which I cannot find the source (possible related to the straw/straw seal).
