The leak-proof lid means less mess in your work bag, gym bag, tote, or car cup holder, and the spout cover protects from dirt and grime. Spill proof bottle
I love it. It doesn't leak in my bag, my drink stays cool for a bit, and it is easy to grip. The only thing I would change the length of the straw. I have to remove the lid to get the last two swallows.

However, replacement straws are available at retailers such as Amazon. You may want to look for a reusable replacement straw that's compatible with the Contigo Ashland 2.0 Water Bottle and the Contigo Ashland Chill Autospout Cup.
