Release the button to seal the spout for 100% spill-proof one-handed drinking wherever you go. When you’re done drinking, flip down the spout cover to help protect the mouthpiece from dirt and grime. A button lock ensures the top doesn’t open accidentally. Carrying it around is easy with the integrated handle that swings up and sets back down to stay out of the way. Rated 5 out of 5 by from I use them every day! I have three 40 oz Cortland water bottles in the pink dragon fruit color and four in the grey licorice color. I've carried them around with me everywhere, daily, for about three years now and every one of them is still in good working order. I like that they're dishwasher safe and have a handle to carry them with and the flip top cover to keep the mouth piece clean. They don't leak even when they get tipped upside down for a significant time (I knock them over in my car all the time), they're a nice size (I had several of these bottles in 32 oz before but I like the 40 oz better) and, best of all, there is no straw to deal with! I prefer this Cortland model to the Jackson model because the opening on the Jackson is too big for me and I end up spilling a lot. The AutoSeal on the Cortland bottle allows me enough control over the flow that I can actually drink from it while lying in bed at night, but still has enough flow that I can use it without trouble while running. Sadly, I can't seem to find the other colors for the Cortland anymore, but I will still keep buying these bottles for as long as possible, They're my favorite!
