Rated 4 out of 5 by from Comfortable but Fragile We purchased a pair of cots for Scouting camp outs. The frame is sturdy and the pad is comfortable. I like how the pad can be stowed away in the frame. I recommend this to all my scouting families that are disappointed in air mattress or are looking for something more comfortable. Like other reviewers I can confirm the canvas is very delicate. One of the cots experienced a tear which I was able to patch together with some duct tape and squeezes 3 additional weekends before it finally tore completely. I am disappointed that no replacement is offered since the frame and pad are still in excellent condition and having to toss the frame feels wasteful.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Canvas rips easily We really liked this cot, but the canvas that holds the mattress pad got pinched between the metal legs when closing the cot and then ripped clear down the center so that it can no longer support the mattress pad. Coleman does not offer a replacement canvas, so the whole cot is now useless. We only got two camping trips out it. I feel even worse adding to a landfill with something that seems easily repairable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable and sturdy We bought two of these before last season and used them on 5 trips last year. They are very comfortable, I am 6' 2", 235 lbs and the cot was roomy, sturdy and comfortable. Previously used bag cots which packed smaller but didn't sleep nearly as well.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Nice size, poor choice of fabric over mattress pad Comfortable. We had the smaller cots and decided to go for the extra length of the deluxe cots. The fabric covering the mattress pad needs to be made of something more durable that will hold at the seams. The seams on both small cots ripped after only 5 uses. A seam was ripped on one of the deluxe cots before we even took it out of the box. I called Coleman and their options were to 1) send the cots back for a refund or 2) send them pictures and then they could send a new cot under the warranty. (I don't need a 3rd cot that's going to do the same thing.) I asked for a discount on the torn cot since I now need to spend money to have them recovered. No-can-do. Careful, Coleman, we've been loyal for years but you're not the only game in town.

Used it at home a few times with no issues. 1 week into a month long camping trip we noticed a couple of springs came loose from the canvas. He kept saying it wasn't comfortable and after another week I noticed the bar in the middle was bent. He is well below the weight limit for this. I'm really disappointed in this product and feel it should have lasted longer.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not a bad cot, but meh I was pleasantly surprised when I laid down on this because the mattress pad is not very thick at all, but it was quite comfortable to sleep on. It's not very heavy and easy to set up. It would be bulky to put in the trunk because it is longer and wider than most cots (which is a plus). On the third night the base was definitely sagging a bit and the mattress pad is now kind of like a crater. The springs creak when I move. For the price I still say it was a good deal. I didn't expect it to stretch out quite so quickly though so I'm torn between 3 and 4 stars. Meh?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Comfy After first four nights it has been pretty comfy, especially with an old cotton bag on top of the cushion. The Velcro straps that hold the cot closed are useless. Using bungees instead.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Comfortable, but canvas is fragile Husband bought two of these for camping this month. The canvas of one of the cots did not fare well being transported from our home to the campsite. When we were setting up camp, we noticed 3 3-inch rips in the fabric. Given how delicate the canvas is, Coleman should probably provide a travel bag to protect it, or at least sell a replacement canvas. I can't imagine that this cot will be functional for too many more camping trips. I will say that the cots were very comfortable. Just as good as a bed. I am giving a yes recommendation, though you need to protect the cots when transporting.
