I got the 4 D Cell version
I got the 4 D Cell version. The only feature I might add is a way to lock the switch. Say push the switch all the way down and it pops up from the case. To turn it back on press down on it then slide it forward. Also most of the barrel is all metal not rubber. Recommend holding it with non slip latex rubberized gloves. When push comes to shove it has more then enough weight to be used as a billy club.

Small but powerfull
Love this flashlight! It is on the smaller side but don't let that fool you. It has 2 brightness settings which is nice if you need just a little light for something up close. It is very easy to operate the switch goes a little for the less bright then even more for the full brightness. I was very impressed with how bright the highest setting is.

The Coleman BatteryGuard 50M flashlight is great! This little guy is super bright! My husband loves it because he takes it to work and can see in small areas better with this. It is slim, small and fits in tight spaces. He works in cable & data and has to see wires in the ceiling. So he gives this an A+ and he plans on using it when camping too.

Great distance and durable!
I have been using this at night when locking my gate instead of my phone because it is so much easier to manage and it lights up the area perfectly. It is very durable that's for sure as I have dropped it several times and no damage at all still works great. And I still haven't had to replace the batteries, that's always a plus!

This is just the right size to bring just anywhere, not bulky or heavy and provides good lighting. I like that I can grip it comfortably and I can put it in my jacket pocket or in any purse or bag which makes it very easily available in case of emergency. I like that it only needs 2 AAA batteries to provide strong light.

Perfect size
I am impressed with the BatteryGuard 50M flashlight. It’s the perfect size so when I am working on a project i am not fumbling it. The brightness is great and it has two settings for bright or dim. I leave it in my kitchen drawer so it’s always always handy, the compact size doesn’t take up much space.

This flashlight might be small but it's powerful! I love that it had two settings for dim or super bright light! It's lightweight but feels durable to withstand accidental drops. I'd love to have one in my car and a few placed around the house for those times that you need them. Highly recommend!

Handy!
I got this for my son who is scared of the dark. I bought him a cheap plastic one and it didn’t last. This one is made much better and is easy for him to operate. It’s small enough to sit on the ledge of his window so but emits a lot of light.

Perfect little flashlight
I needed a new flashlight to keep in my nightstand and this one is perfect. Nice small size but still bright enough. It is easy to turn on and off. It will definitely come in useful. Very satisfied with it. Coleman brand never disappoints.

BatteryGuard won't allow flashlight to shut off
The BatteryGuard feature in some strange way will not allow be to shut off this flashlight. The light is always shining. I have to remove the batteries to make it turn off. This flashlight is worthless to me.

Corroded Battery and barely used
Great flashlight for the light. It is very bright..and sturdy..but my battery is already corroded. I can't even open the darn thing to get to the battery.. I had several people try. I have used this flashlight twice camping and now it just doesn't work at all.

Exactly what I was looking for and could'd fine.
I’m 80 yrs old and this flashlight is exactly what I was looking for.
Extra long battery life on low light and all I need is the low for getting up at night to check on closed doors, windows, and bathroom break etc.
I have powerful flashlights but the last thing I want at night when I have my night vision is a blow torch light, (no I’m not fond of the red they use for the military etc).
It’s long slim body has neutral warmth to the touch, unlike many all metal ones that I must glue rubber around.
“A Big thing with me” being older and weaker fingers and a bit of arthritis, is most flashlights have tail buttons and are not as welcoming as I get older and this one has an “easy” slide switch for off and on, high and low. That’s rare now days. I like it so much, I’m getting another for the wife who suffers a lot of arthritis in her hands.
It’s very rugged as for as I can tell, after dropping it. It’s very light in weight, another thing older people appreciate. The only thing I upgraded on it was, a barrel clip so I can hang it on something and I glued on a couple very small rubber nubs, on the outside of the bezel so it won’t tend to roll when on the table, and the last was a bit of yellow reflective tape so it’s easer to locate with aged eyes (interesting how so many flashlights are black, when it’s usually night when you need them)?
I LOVED THE PRICE, it is so affordable, it’s almost like stealing it

Thanks to Coleman. My family has been using Coleman product since I was a kid and they seem to always do their homework (manufacturing and market research) creating a product. I don’t remember a bad experience using any of them.

Durable and powerful
I added this to my hurricane preparation kit, but we also used this on a recent camping trip. My youngest loves flashlights and took this everywhere with him. He left the light on overnight and I am surprised it still works. This flashlight is small, lightweight and very bright. Just what I was looking for and easy to use.

Very handy
I needed a small light weight flashlight and Coleman BatteryGurad 50M flashlight works perfectly for me. It comes with 2 batteries which is a plus. The light is bright and it has battery guard which will prevent battery from draining when light is off. I use it in my attic and for small jobs around the house.

Small but handy
This is a small flashlight however it does put off some good light. It would go good in an emergency kit or something to that effect. I tried it outside in the dark, but it didn’t work as well lighting up a big space.

Batteries stay good!

Hello! Thank you for reaching out! To change the batteries in your BatteryGuard 50M Flashlight from Coleman, please follow these steps: 1. Twist the Tail Cap: Rotate the tail cap at the bottom of the flashlight counterclockwise to remove it. 2. Remove Old Batteries: Take out the old batteries, ensuring you note their orientation (positive and negative ends). 3. Insert New Batteries: Place the new batteries into the flashlight, matching the correct polarity as indicated inside the battery compartment, the type of the batteries is 2 AAA batteries. 4.
