Description
Light the night using disposable or rechargeable batteries with the Coleman® CPX® 6 Rugged 400L LED Lantern. CPX® system compatibility lets you choose your power: four D-cell batteries or one CPX® 6 rechargeable power cartridge. This 360° light has two settings — high and low. With a runtime of up to 30 hours on high and 70 hours on low, the sun will come up before you need fresh power. The LEDs run cool and never need to be replaced. The light is designed to reduce glare and create comfortable, streak-free beams.

Unit has burnt out
We purchased this lattern in October, 2018 for Hurrican Michael. Very satisfied in it's performance then. Hadn't been used since, until a power outage this week. It worked for about an hour but was flickering off and then went completely out. The tube is dark on one side, at the base. Product details says it will last a lifetime. Wasn't our lifetime so very dissapointed in this lantern. Anyway to replace the tube?

Coleman Classic LED Lantern is the Real Deal!
We love our red Coleman Classic LED Lantern! So much in fact, that we also purchased one in forest green. The brightness is incredible and I felt safe letting our son use this lantern, so it is certainly durable. Love the handle for easy portability and have had no issues with the battery life. We had it set up in our camp theme playroom with the most adorable Crate & Barrel camper, campfire, log seat and canoe. This product is versatile so can be used by both adults and children. The Coleman Classic LED lantern is certainly a keeper!

Battery will not recharge
I used this about 5 times camping and love the item. However the battery will not recharge so I need to carry extra D batteries. Frustrating.

Impressive little lantern
This lantern is great for camping or for around the house. It is very bright. The lantern has two brightness settings. It puts out a lot of light. The battery life is fairly long. We have used it all weekend without having to replace the batteries. I like the fact it is safe for a child to use. We also use it every time the power goes out at the house or if we have to go outside at night. I have owned this lantern for about three years now. It has been pretty impressive.

Great for bedside safety, and fun for Halloween!
We love our Coleman Personal LED Lanterns. We live in an area that is prone to storms and power outages, especially during hurricane season. My husband and I each have a Coleman Lantern on the side of our bed. Great to have around!!
Fun idea... We even use our Coleman lanterns with our Halloween decorations. We bought a short shepherd's hook and hang the lanterns in the "graveyard" area of our decorations!

Still have an old school computer
This lamp has been great. was received 5 years ago as a Christmas gift. And it worked perfectly every time.
Checked the lamp out before going on a trip several days ago, the lamp failed. The battery pack lid hinge was broken; batteries were still good. Where can I acquire battery case for it? This lantern has been excellent item, don't have to fuel it with gas, just change the batteries.

Best camping lantern
Really good lantern to use for camping trips. I purchased this several years ago and it’s still in great condition. The battery lasts for few months with the excelent brightness. Good price for such a high quality product. It’s a little heavy for backpacking though. Definitely recommended for anyone love to camp or use it for outdoor activities.

Love my Coleman classic lantern! Coleman is the brand I trust for those camping trips that turn out cold and wet. Portable Battery Lantern
Great and durable light with decent soft white brightness (think 40 watt). Batteries seem to last a while. I love the tactile turn switch. Although I purchased for potential power outage, I can see me using this for more (in dark spots in attics/crawl spaces, outdoors at night, camping).

For many years of camping and being in the outdoors, Coleman has been our go to brand for equipment. We have a wide variety of items and do not have problems with any of them. We have several of these lanterns for emergency use or just every day use. Always throws a bright light.

Great for backup lighting

Great...when it works
This is a great looking lamp however it only works some of the time. If you want to feel if like the Fonz- this is the lantern for you ( a bump and a hot could turn it on), but if you want a lantern you can count on I would suggest LL Bean.i

For the most part I liked this lantern. It’s great for camping and outdoor bonfires. It takes a lot of battery but it shines really bright too. The quality is okay, it could be better and the price is about fair for what you get.
