Rated 1 out of 5 by from Did not light up I'm glad I took my old coleman lantern, because the new lantern simply wouldn't stay lit. I have used coleman lanterns for 40 years. I know how they work, I have kept two lanterns that are 20 years old in working order. I was unable to troubleshoot the new lantern while surf fishing.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from We're done, Coleman I bought a 285 A dual fuel dual mantle lantern about 2 years ago. I had used two 275's that worked like a charm and I got years of service with them. I have two kerosene single mantle lanterns and all they needed was new generators. The 285 A was not cheap and worked less than an hour. So, I changed out the generator- It worked, sort of, but the pump will not put pressure in the tank and I can't get a replacement pump. So, I'm going to send the damned thing back to you. Maybe as scrap it is worth something.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from N🚫t the Coleman we grew up with! Used these Coleman lanterns in ice Shanty’s to stay warm fishing all day. I purchased one just to warm up my garage a little in the winter months thinking this was the product to have. I am sorely mistaken. This is nowhere near a Coleman product that I grew up with it. It is cheap thin reduced down to a very flimsy product that I cannot endorse, even the mantles only lasted one time burning, the plastic case that if you buy separately is expensive has two little itty-bitty plastic tabs if they break the case is useless this is the worst reduce down product for profit that I’ve come across so far I wouldn’t even give it one star if I didn’t have to. I will not even consider buying another Coleman product because of this.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Warranty service Ordered two dual fuel lanterns a few weeks back, always had good luck with them but one of them doesn’t achieve full brightness and makes a whistle noise. I tried to calling the Colman warranty number and was on hold forever then the call dropped. Disappointed with their service.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product Great quality product as always. Lantern fired right up with no issues at all. Waiting patiently to use of ice fishing along side the powerhouse I currently own and use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The nostalgia is real, and it performs perfectly I grew up camping with one of these. My dad taught me how to use and take care of it when I was very young, and it became my job to light the lantern whenever it started getting dark. The build quality is perfect. The light it gives off is warm and bright. I pumped it up and put it on low in the middle of our table and it burned all night, was great low light for middle of the night trips to the bathroom. The only note I have is WATCH OUT FOR THE METAL NUT ON THE TOP Me being groggy in the morning sat my hand right on top of it and it was still quite hot.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not as good as your older lanterns! Sigh..... My old Coleman lantern was acting up, sputtering on my "pre testing" before an outing. So rather then address the issue with the old one, I bought one of these. Getting it to hold pressure for more then 15 minuets never happened, Mantels seamed to always "pulse". After one camping trip I sold it, and fixed the old lantern, which I should have done in the first place.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Can’t go wrong with these When I was a little kid my parents had these for camping. They always worked great no matter the time of year or weather. When I got older and started my own camping/hunting collection, I bought a couple of those battery powered LED lanterns that had as much power as a watch light! My dad reminded me of these. They work great and light up the whole campsite and last about 4-6 hrs on a tank of fuel. Just buy extra mantles! I broke three mantles while conditioning them. Oh and I now own 3 of these lanterns! Well worth every penny!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Must have for camping primitive! I have not owned a fuel lantern since I was a kid and going camping with my parents. I have been using a few battery operated ones and this one puts them to shame!! Instead of barely making enough light to see 5 feet in front of you this thing lights up the whole area! I plan on buying another one in the near future!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Bad Case The lantern is great. The carry case is a joke. The lantern will not fit into the black bottom base, and the plastic tabs on the green case are ridiculously flimsy. Just to be clear, I bought the lantern and case as a kit directly from Coleman. The lantern would not fit into the black base right out of the box.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Coleman duel fuel lantern. I love Coleman gas lanterns! Everytime I light one it brings back childhood memories. Battery lights are nice but no one will remember flipping a switch or changing batteries. The light from gas and the faint hiss ing sound it makes while burning are what outdoor memories are made of.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dual fuel lantern This dual fuel lantern is slightly smaller, which makes it more convenient. I do canoe trips, so the more compact size is helpful. It is also far more simple to light with the 2 position fuel switch. It generates without repeated pumping. A very solid outdoor gear item.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Storage case bottom falls out easily Lantern is great. Storage case bottom fell out first time using it, just carrying to shed and breaking the glass of the lantern. Have to spend extra on a new glass on brand new lantern....

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great lamp. Only used it once with white gas. So far so good. Always wanted one as a kid and boy scouts but we didn't have much money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great customer service. I received this lantern in its box, with no damage to the box at all, everything was there. All good. After timing on the mantels, and screwing down the top piece with handle, I noticed a sizable chip out of the paint on that part. I contacted coleman telling them the situation. I was expecting that they would just sent out a replacement part, but to my amazement they sent out an entire new lantern, and told me to keep them both. That's an amazing company!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Premium lantern in every way! I have used this product (premium dual lantern) literally around the world. I have travelled to 31 countries. I travel across in country and the landscape is unforgiving to all of my equipment. I have traveled with this equipment and I am 110% satisfied. It is dependable and I continually use it to this day. It has been a life saver, literally. The glass globe floats and is very durable. Dual fuels in other countries makes it extremely handy and useful.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Camping Lantern I I've had one of these lanterns for years and it has gone into the woods many times - often in an canoe. I like it so much, I bought one for my son. I wish it was a bit more corrosion resistant - it doesn't like salt air & wish the carrying case closed more securely (I broke a glass globe when it opened by surprise). Overall, I would purchase it again - in fact I did for my son. Maybe his brother will get one too.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not worth the money Was set to use this for the weekend I just bought it and followed the instructions for the mantles and out of the box one of the mantles was already damaged. Didn't realize till I did the initial burn of the mantle. So I'm using the dietz and fire hands for the weekend trip. Do not recommend. I may try a different brand mantle at some point but likely this thing is going straight to fb marketplace.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really Great Lantern Great little lantern. I love this thing. I have a Lantern Pile Driver too, that gets hammered into the ground and you can hang the lantern from anywhere outside. This lantern lights up the whole campsite and really sets the ambience around camp - Due to you being able to adjust the brightness. Absolute must have for camping - or perhaps I should say an absolute luxury light around the camp site.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lantern and Stove Nastalgia LED and battery powered have their place for sure; especially inside a tent. But liquid fuel lanterns and stoves have been around for decades and when maintained properly, work very well and work better in cold. When your batteries die and the sun isn't out, these things will work and the fuel lasts a long time per fill up. Knowing how to work these properly is also just a rite of passage.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Satisfied customer I've been using Coleman products for 60 years . Whether I'm on a long camping trip or just in the backyard , The adjustable flame gives me the exact amount of light that I want. The dual fuel capability Makes things very efficient. I have a two burner Coleman stove That I use on a regular basis . It's older than most people . Coleman is still my go to brand .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Has never let me down. I’ve got one that’s 35 years old, it’s just a bit temperamental and slow to warm up, one of my prize possessions. This new one is quick to light and smooth out , even in the cold , and appears to be just as well made and durable . In my opinion you cannot beat Coleman products, I have another prized possession.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Coleman Duel Fuel Lantern First of all, I have never purchased any other camp lanterns but Coleman! This knowledge was passed on to me by my Father! It’s the only products He used and it’s the only products I have used for camping! I highly recommend this lantern as it will last you a life time with good routine maintenance!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Survivor55 My Wife and I had 3 different models. This one 1 of these one that had 1007 lumens and one that had 1107 lumens it's unfortunate that I can't find the others 1107 and 1007 again. These Lanterns saved mine and my wife's life in his backyard 'bout 3 years ago whenever the had a storm that hit -35°
