Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great tripod for lantern for sure. I was hesitant on purchasing this but boy I’m glad I did. I bought it to hang a lantern mostly so I don’t have to hang it from a limb of a tree and have a shadow of unlit area of our campsite. It’s easy to assemble and breakdown is flawless as well. It’s super sturdy and I’d definitely recommend this to anyone for the purpose of hanging a lantern.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not the best option for over the fire camp cooking Used it for the first time for a camping weekend & 2 of the 3 tripod legs fell apart bc the cord inside seemingly frayed from the heat of the fire….that this was made to cook over. One happened within 60m of using it for the first time and the second broke the next day. Not sure how this would’ve been avoided besides it having poor materials.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty cool I was really excited to try this out. I got a little too close to the flame with one of the legs and it snapped the bungee cord on the inside. And trying to move the grate was a little tricky trying to figure out exactly what the instructions meant. But overall good purchase.
