Great for cooler nights
My son and husband like to go camping occasionally. Last time they went, it was in later summer early fall and its was a bit chilly at night. This kept my son super warm. He runs hot while sleeping so I was worried he would get too warm in the middle of the night and get too cold if he wasn’t covered, or that it wouldn’t be warm enough. But thankfully it was perfect for him. Not too hot or cold. Just good. So I am glad we got this one. After that trip they decided that it was too late in the year for camping, so will only plan when it’s warmer out. But they had a good time and that’s what matters, plus they were warm while sleeping.

Perfect for camping in California
I already own a sleeping bag but needed a thicker one as my current one is very thin and mainly for summer weather. I decided to go with the Coleman Flatlands 40F as it is perfect for the weather in our area.
The Coleman Flatlands 40F did not disappoint at all. The quality of the bag is very nice, good stitching and with a solid zipper.
When I lay inside, the bag is very warm and very cozy. The outer waterproof layer is also excellent.
Overall, Coleman did an excellent job on this sleeping bag and it is getting a solid 5 stars rating from me.

Plush, Warm and Comfortable
This is a great sleeping back for most outdoor adventures. It is very well constructed and reminds me of a soft, plush, warm puffy jacket. It has a good amount of weight without being too heavy and is made from polyester material. It's large and roomy and keeps you warm and cozy. It has good stitching and a very sturdy and solid zipper that is easy to use. There is a quick cord tie but you still need to hold it down and rip off the label from the storage bag so that it expands and gives you enough room to easily store it back into the bag.

Great Quality Flatlands Sleeping Bag!
My son loves to go camping and just recently went on a science camp and loved this sleeping bag! The Flatlands™ cold-weather sleeping bag is made with 100% post-consumer-recycled polyester in the shell, liner, and Ecotherm™ fill that is designed to keep you warm in temperatures as low as 40°F, and it did keep him warm! He loved the color combination and it was easy to zipper open and close. I also like that it’s machine washable. It is a great product and would highly recommend! I give it a thumbs up.

Love It!
This Coleman Flatlands sleeping bag is great! We took it with us on our camping trip. It got colder than I expected and was down into the 40s. This sleeping bag kept me nice and warm. It’s made very well and you can definitely tell it’s a good quality.

Non- existent customer service.
Ordered two identicle sleeping bags and received two completely different models. Emailed customer service multiple times and they just don't seem to care. They do not respond. I'm just going to send everything back and buy another brand.

Amazing affordable product
I absolutely love this sleeping bag! Not only is it super well made but it's not an eye sore and it's east to store and take with you and offers tons of comfortability! It's so easy even for my kiddos to use and that's so important to me! I also love that I can easily keep this product clean! I highly recommend this product for everyone especially for outdoorsy people or just as your go to sleeping bag!

Perfect for Texas weather!
My 11 year old daughter loves this Coleman sleeping bag. It is perfect for camping under the Texas stars because it is not too hot! The light blue is very pretty with the red interior. I like the way the closure keeps it tightly rolled so that it can go into the carry bag. There is a little tag that reminds you how the closure string work and I am thankful for whoever decided that!!

Hello Diana. The Flatlands&trade; 40&deg;F Sleeping Bag is machine washable for easy care, but it is not recommended for tumble drying as it may affect the integrity of the materials. Instead, we suggest air drying the bag flat or hanging it to dry.
