As a mom setting it up with my 8-year-old, I was a bit nervous about doing it on my own, but it truly lived up to the "instant" name. It popped up effortlessly in just a couple of minutes—no complicated poles or confusing instructions. My child was even able to help, which made it a fun and stress-free process! Taking it down took a little more time, but it was still very manageable. Folding it back up neatly was the trickiest part, but with a little patience, it fit back into the bag without much hassle. The tent itself is spacious for a small family, well-ventilated, and kept us dry through a light rain. Overall, this is a fantastic tent for anyone who wants a quick, hassle-free camping experience. Highly recommend!

The set-up and take-down are quick and easy because it is a pop up tent. No need to mess around with the poles one by one. I just pop it open and it’s good to go. We have used it a few times and you can tell the quality is there. I would definitely recommend purchasing Coleman 4-Person Cabin Camping Tent with Instant Setup.

We recently set it up for the 2nd time and the bottom zipper busted. Over the 2 day trip, the entire zipper came apart. We ended up having to throw it away. Compete waste of money.

Rated 4 out of 5 by braxton_r from Great and easy to put up tent This tent works great! The instant tent takes under 60 seconds your first time putting it up and will be faster with more use. The tent is roomy. I am 6ft tall and I can crouch stand without it being uncomfortable. I would say you can fit 4 people but it would be more comfy with 2 and a queen air mattress with some room. I look forward to using this more once it warms up. I am not sure how it would do with rain yet. Looking forward to using this more when it warms up.

This Coleman 4 man instant setup tent is a great tent it's very durable and wind resistant and you can comfortably fit 4 sleeping bags with a little extra room for your backpacks and extras it's very easy to assemble and only takes minutes to get it up and ready and breaks down just as easy me and my family used it for several camping trips and it's still holding up strong so I give it a great rating you can't really go wrong with Coleman products for camping by.

We slept with an open vent so ventilation was not an issue. It feels pretty well made so I think it can handle a worst weather and seems that it will last for a while. It is really easy to setup, but not as easy to pack. The only con for me is the weight. It is quite heavy so not as portable as many other tents. I would use this only if you can carry it around in your car.

Rated 5 out of 5 by 4XVentures from Great for the money! Weathered the storms. I've had my first Coleman Instant 4 person tent since 2016 and use it constantly. And I mean CONSTANTLY I am camping at minimum once a month typically every other weekend. The tent is actually still in perfect conditioned and very well seasoned at this point. The only point of failure has been the small plastic bits at the bottom of the tent rods with connect the tent rod to the loop used to hammer steaks into the ground. They include holes which make you think you should put the steak through it but DONT. I highly recommend only using the canvas loops to slam the steaks through. I believe the only reason this part broke on me is because I hammed my steaks through these holes in below freezing weather. I e-mailed Coleman support about this issue and they were extremely quick to reply with a very quality outcome. I sincerely appreciate this kind of support which has driven me to leave a review on a product I've been using monthly for 6 years now. It's not always about the product but a large part about the support and company that backs their products. I will continue to purchase many many coleman products because they get the job done and the few occasions they don't they an amazing support network to resolve any issue you're having.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Retta from Ready to get wet? I bought this tent three years ago. I have inky used it a handful if times. It goes up lije a breeze. This is by far the fastest tent that has ever went up very easy. Easy to put away lightweight and easy to carry, you have to buy the rain fly separate and you better. If this tent gets wet, you're getting wet.And if you don't get wet and you put anything around the parameter of this tent it's getting wet. Perfect for dry weather, not so perfect for rain.

We’ve now used it probably 6-8 times since then and it has held up well. The set up and tear down is so easy! We woke up at 7:30 am today and I had everything packed up and loaded in the car by 8am. That includes rolling sleeping bag, putting away air mattress, packing up clothes and lugging everything to the car too. I like it so much I’m on the hunt for a bigger option just like it.

It has been set up in 100 degree weather, taken down in freezing weather, gone through rain and wind, and has never failed in any way .The tough floor material does not need a tarp under it, really does not need a fly, the zippers are great and never give me grief. Easy and quick to set up and take down and always fits into the bag.

We have used it in several weather conditions, including rain and windy conditions. I live in Michigan, and the weather always changes. It's the perfect size for a couple with room to have luggage, air mattress, and space to move around. If you're looking for a tent, I highly recommend the Coleman brand. It will not disappoint

It most definitely would have cost alot more elsewhere. It is no doubt durable and weather resistant for hot or cold weather. I purchased it as a replacement for homeless outreach for a fellow who had one but his was 2 years old at least and tattered and weather worn from living in it. I know that it should be easy for him to set up.

We had a little trouble putting this tent up in our house as the weather is still unpredictable where we live, but this tent is SO spacious! I have only had as big as a two-person tent in the past! The assembly was a bit more difficult than the instructions made it seem which is why it’s still in the bag as I don’t typically tent camp! I love the look of the tent and the large entryway! I can’t wait to get more use out of it in the summer!

The problem is that it leaks water in the morning due to dew !!! All the knobs to attach windows when rolled down, dripped water in the morning so my pillow was wet. not even remotely thinking to use in rain, would be a disater. Zero quality control on weatherproofing . The movie about testing tents on Coleman site is worthless. Extremely disappointed ...

The materials seem durable and it held up during our trips. I only camped in mild weather, so cannot attest to the durability during storms. The only downside is that it’s a bit of a tight fit for four people, the space is more suitable for 2-3 people. Overall it is a really nice tent and works well for camping.

There was a little condensation on the bottom corners, but the wind was crazy so it was expected. We purchased seem sealer so will be using that, but otherwise easy to setup and we want to get another one! Also, extremely warm in those cooler Colorado nights. Only gave it a 4 star because of the little bit of condensation!

First, you expand it so the bottom lays flat, then extend the poles, super easy, and make sure it’s flat on the bottom again and stake it down. Reverse directions to take down. The only con is the windows aren’t that big, I like them to go further down, and it could use a rain cover and a larger bag because it’s hard to get it to fit.

When in the tent it is weather resistant and can handle rain storms and decently heavy winds! The ventilation flaps make it convenient when it comes to getting in air and feeling the breeze on hot summer days! Highly recommended

The tent is a four person tent so it’s very roomy, my kids all shared it. There is 3 of them. The material is very nice, waterproof. As for setting up the tent, it was super easy. It took literally minutes to set up, Good quality tent for the price, we will definitely be brining it along with us on our future camping trips.

I would use this tent in dryer regions because it doesn’t appear to do well with heavy rain. Since this is an easy up tent and not built for extreme weather I still give 5 stars. I received this tent free from Influenser and Coleman for my honest review.

There are uneven seams and some other shortcomings, but if you are not planning a long camping, then this is a great budget option. But if you want to go to a long camping plus if it rains and not very good weather conditions, then I would recommend you to buy something more durable and a little more expensive. To be sure that your rest will be good

However, there is no way I can fit my family of four comfortably in this size of a tent advertised for 4 people- perhaps if we all slept in sleeping bags and didn't mind rubbing shoulders all night. Side note: we are an average to slim sized family. Will have to return to size up to a 6 person tent for my family of 4.

I camp alone but this way I can put a cot, a chair, my porta potty etc in it and all is great. The set up couldnt be easier altho I havent mastered folding it up for the bag yet. However, bring a tap to use as a rainfly because light rain is fine but heavy rains do leak in. I attached a tarp over it and that took care of that.

Rated 3 out of 5 by jhpippi from Great tent, easy setup, no storage bag??? My son received this tent as a gift as he asked for a tent for Christmas for backyard sleepovers with friends. It's a great tent and he can easily set it up quickly. My issue is that it didn't come with a storage bag. So it's just this big pile of tent sitting around in a mess. Don't all tents come with a storage bag? I would give this tent 5 stars if it came with a bag to store the tent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by pinkish from Easy up tent We have this tent for few years and it's still working well after countless scouting campouts. We did buy the separate Coleman rain fly (all our tents have rain flies), and use spray to waterproof the tent, specially the seams, about every 6 months. It fits 2 person comfortably with cots and all the gears inside, and we can talk while inside, no crouching in the tent. It got some mold because we forgot to open the tent to dry after a raining campout. It did well on strong winds with all stakes in place. Cons: it takes a minute or so to squeeze the 'puffed' tent back in the bag, and it's bulkier and heavier than traditional tent, but the set up is pretty fast. BTW we leave the rain fly attached to the tent, so it goes up and down with the tent, saving time and work. A tarp underneath the tent is recommended, our tent floor has a small hole on the floor after camping in a rough terrain without tarp.

You can set this thing up in under 5 minutes. No need to carry around poles they are already in the tent. With a push of a few buttons you can set this baby up. I have no regrets of spending extra money for this tent. It was worth every penny.
