It sets up and takes down very easily - sets up in less than two minutes with one person, and less than five minutes to get it stuffed into the carrying bag. It fits in my subcompact car. It stayed dry through 5 straight hours of heavy rain. Too heavy to hike any real distance with, but excellent for car camping with kids.

We have been using these tents for almost 5 years. As some of you know Scouts can break anything, well, these tents have stood up well, the are easy to set up, and every one that we purchased is still in operation! If that's not saying something I don't know what is.

Hopefully not a sign of things to come bc I love me some Coleman but the quality of the materials used in this tent just dont keep the water out. The only positive things about this tent is the fact that it's very easy to put up. Too bad you can only use it when it's guaranteed to not rain.

I’m 5’10 and can almost stand up. It should come with a rain fly buying it separately is a con. Getting it back in the carrying case is difficult you really need to fold it as tight as possible. We have used it for three adults before and it was comfortable. I think this tent is ideal for 3 adults. I think it would work for two adults and two kids. The setup is extremely simple if you are familiar with pitching a tent. The tent also stands up to weather very well!

I didn't even get caught in a rain storm!! It was a heavy, misty, dense fog! I managed to spend several hours outside in this same weather in a hoodie and it was merely damp however upon returning to my tent later in the evening I found the entire inside was drenched! my wallet and its contents..soaked. Vehicle remote... soaked and unusable! By morning I had a pools of water all across the floor, my bedding, pillow, clothes were soaked! water managed to seep into literally everything!!!! and to add insult to injury the bag is ripping on the bottom... and this was only the first time using it!! It's pretty clear Coleman has become yet another company that just outsources all it's production to cheap labor sources and disregards any form of quality control and just hides behind a once solid brand name.

It pops up easy to set up and just as easy to fold back down. It fits 4 people and it's about 4' feet so it's not a crawl in. It is water proof so it works great in the rain. I can hardly wait to go camping this summer.

It is super easy to setup and stores conveniently in a small zip up container. It hasn’t rained on me yet but the product claims to have patented WeatherTec technology to keep water out. It easily fits four people and really only took a few minutes to setup. I would recommend this!

The windows let in plenty of cool air in the summer. I’ve found that in the colder weather it holds heat in better than other tents I’ve had especially if you have a portable heater in it.

We are big camping people took kids out for a month every summer and every weekend all summer and spring. My husband now uses it for hunting trips since we bought a bigger one for us to use together. No leaks or rips while setting up or packing up! The top is ventilation but not too much that the tent itself doesn’t stay warm. We used it during the late fall & it was perfect.

Bought the 4 person instant cabin tent in June 2020 for my teenage daughter so she could setup and takedown by herself quickly when we go camping or when she goes out with youth groups etc. After the first time setting up in backyard my younger child stumbled and fell into the tent causing the one side to collapse which resulted in a tear in the fabric, which I don’t think a brand new tent should do. Contacted Coleman for warranty and was told that they no longer have this type of tent in stock and would like to replace it with something similar which is great by the way. However I made it very clear that I only want an instant setup type tent as a replacement both over the phone and through email, otherwise I have two tents laying around and have no use for a third if it’s not an instant setup type. They agreed on sending me the 5 person instant dome tent as a replacement ( I have this conversation saved in email) but the tent that was received was most certainly not an instant setup tent and when I checked it out at the local Canadian tire store was selling for $150 less then the original tent I bought. Greatly disappointed! Why does Coleman claim to stand behind their products if that’s the kind of customer service they offer?

Properly secured it did not move at all, we stayed dry and comfortable after 4 hrs of storms. Great job on this tent Colman it sets up literally in a minute! Thank you for not making our 10 th anniversary a soggy one!

It was a bit windy where were and the tent held up quite well, although there was a bit of moisture that came through. I feel the pit shell needs to be a bit more durable. All in all it was good for our short trip away.

Even during the day I need to open the window zippers to let some light in. The only downfall is having to purchase the rain fly separately. Overall a great tent and I highly recommend.

Now that our kids are grown, they have their own Coleman tents that they will use with their kids. This is definitely a brand we trust and recommend.

I actually got this one up by myself without my husband’s help. Lol Once suits up, the tenant has good size and I’m definitely looking forward to going camping in it.

These typically have higher peak heights - often 6.5 to 7 feet or more - which would let both of you stand fully upright without bending. Even though you don't need the extra sleeping space, the added height could make a huge difference for your comfort. How durable is this tent really? I am certainly disappointed. Looked to see if there is a way to replace the piece, but can’t find any information.
