Hunters dream
I take this out hunting every year for 4 years. It is very comfortable and dry. It is well made. I have a light and fan. It stays up for 5 weeks in the mountains. It lasts thru rain and a lot of wind with no problems. Love the tent

another Killer buy of a tent
This thing is the bomb easy to setup and lots of room and it could really sleep six inside.
We love the fact that it is nice and cool inside during the day and we don't get a lot of light inside if you are lazy and just want to sleep later.

Affordable and sturdy!

The Dark Room tech makes the Sun Dome even better
I have owned and worn out 2 previous 6 person sun dome tents in the last 20 years that i really liked so buying this one was a no brainer. I took a gamble on the darkroom technology and am very pleased how it keeps the tent cooler in the day and dark in a light environment. This tent is easy to set up, best done with two people. This one and my previous ones have stood up to some nasty high wind thunderstorms that destroyed many of the neighboring tents in our camping area.

The dark room tent blocks 90% of sunlight. I am a mom of three and this tent is wonderful for my family of 5! The tent is made for 6 people and fits two queen size air mattress in it. I live in Florida and with the tent blocking 90% off sunlight it keeps the tent a lot cooler and heat out during the warm days here. It’s also great for my 1 year old! He takes multiple naps during the day and the tent keeps the sunlight out.easy for nap time! The tent stands 6ft tall at it highest point and is 10ft wide. The tent has rainflys that keep rain off and nice for shade. On the rainflys there is snag free pole sleeve. There is a E-port on the bottom of tent for easy electrical access. The tent has welded floors and inverted seams to keep rain and snow out. I like that the tent has pockets on the inside. I like to keep extra flashlights and phones in. Easy to find in the middle of nightand makes for nice storage. The tent has reflective guy lines, makes easy to see at night and we are less likely to trip over them! What I like most about the text other than 90% sunlight blocking is the nice black carry bag the tent fits in and can be stored in. The tents easy to take out put up in less than 15 min and after camping store back in bag for next use.

Very nice tent
The tent is very spacious for a 6 person tent and looks really nice set up from the outside as well. The rain cover is made of a very thick material which will keep the tent warmer or cold depending on the temperature. The set up was a little challenging at first, but once we identified all the pieces the set up went very smoothly. The tent also packs up really well in the bag that it came with and is very easy to transport due to the size of the bag.

Easy to assemble, so much space!
This tent is perfect for our space needs. We’re a family of 4 and there is ample room in this tent for us and then some. It easily would fit 6 people. We couldn’t find instructions but we were still able to assemble it. It’s possible to assemble with one person but easier and faster with 2. It’s nice and dark inside, there’s a zippered hole to run a power cord inside. It’s very sturdy but I feel like the pins/stakes could be a little longer and thicker considering the size of the tent. We didn’t have wind so not sure if the included pins were sufficient enough to withstand strong wind but I questioned it. If I could improve it I would want more storage space inside. It has some but not a lot. The tent was also easy to take down and stores nicely and compactly in the included case.
Overall, this is a great tent. Love how much space it has and how easy assembly is.

Great price, tent pole snapped
Great price and the tent is very roomy. However during our second set up one of the tent poles snapped at the metal connection/joint. We tried to clamp it back in place, but had to use good old duct tape to make it work for the weekend. Otherwise the tent is very roomy and kept us cool and dry. Would definitely have given it 5 stars if the pole didn’t snap. Now to find a replacement pole......

Great tent
I got this tent for my family to go camping with and it is absolutely amazing. It was easy to set up with two adults putting it together. It has plenty of room for my family of five, we were not crowded at all. The darkening feature was absolutely great, it helped keep the heat in the summer out and made it easier to fall and stay asleep when the sun came up. I highly recommend this tent.

I love this compact and spacious tent. The dark room technology blocks 90% of sunlight so reduces temperatures in the tent. It feels very comfortable on hot days. Very simple to setup. There is enough room to fit 2 queen-size airbeds. There are storage pockets swen into the walls of the tent making it easy to store your small items. The tent even comes with an expandable carrying bag.

SUPER EASY to put together, and great shade
I LOVE this tent. I want to camp in the south, and there is no way to do it without good shade and heat protection when the weather is warm. I like that it is green and not super bright. I had no trouble putting it together, and the kids love it. I really appreciate the added shade options so that we can use it more often since the sun can be an issue. Love it!

Broken poles
We bought this tent to downsize ours. The 1st one we bought as soon as we opened it to put it together the poles went everywhere. The strings were broke. We took it back to Costco and exchanged it. The 2nd one we used and it worked great! Was very easy to set up! The 2nd time we went to set it up the strings broke again and our poles went everywhere!

Durable and excellent quality
We bought it to go camping and was the best option we could get. We decided to go for a 6 person tent because we have 2 dogs and the height would allow us to stand inside the tent. It has enough windows, tons of breeze and also protected us from the sun. Internal space is great for a couple with 2 kids or dogs like us. It was really worth and affordable.

Good quality tent
I’ve only used it once but it seems like a solid tent and fits my needs. I needed to replace an old Eureka 6 person tent and this works well. I can put it up myself and carry it easily. I like that better than pop up tents. My only issue is a defect in the rain fly, but overall I would recommend this to anyone that wants to be able to set it up yourself.

Elastic holding the poles together break
I've purchased two of these. The elastic holding the poles together break easily. The first time after light use in the backyard after one time. The second time, all I did was unpack it for the first time. The poles just fell apart laying them out. Taking this second one back and will try to fix the poles on the first one. Quality is terrible.

The front screened porch is a nice addition but is worthless in the rain. Just a word of warning, if it's going to rain then don't depend on the porch on keeping your gear dry; bring it inside the tent or put a tarp over it. This is a nitpick, but Coleman could have easily made this addition more useful in inclement weather with zippable panels rather than an all-mesh enclosure.
The tent itself is spacious, and I have to give accolades to Coleman for their darkroom technology. I usually wake up as soon as the sun thinks about coming up (I'll wake up about a half hour before sunrise). With the darkroom, though, I slept in another good hour to hour and a half. Even in the middle of the day, it was dark enough to take a nap. I really appreciated this and makes the tent a keeper.
Tent pegs not super strong--I easily bent a couple, and tried to unbend to get into the ground. Might be nice to have stronger ones.

This tent is great for family camping!
This is exactly what our family of 4 needed for camping trips. This is actually a 6 person tent so 4 people can fit in here very comfortably. Setup is no harder than your normal tent and take down is a breeze as well. The front sitting area is great for taking in the evening sunset and this will be a staple of ours on camping trips!

Durable and roomy
I put this up and immediately my two girls jumped in. My kids are pretty rough on things and this held up with no problem to their roughhousing. I'm not a fan of the green but other than that, I have no complaints. Zipper zips easily, tent goes up without a problem. I can't wait until it warms up and I actually can use it outside.

Straps broke after a few uses
I really liked the tent in good weather. But once a wind hit, the strap that attaches the pole to the tent (with plastic "cup" pole holder) simply ripped under light wind. Looking at the other straps, another is half ripped. I zip tied the straps together and that lasted another night. Now the tent is practically useless....

Huge!
This is so much bigger than I expected! It fits my family if 4 plus ALL our gear comfortably with room to stretch out. I cant wait to camp this summer! The dark room technology is great for keeping it dark (obviously) but also for keeping the heat out, which is what always made me not want to tent camp.

Will not keep you dry
Used once and woke up with a puddle of water next to me . Notice water leaking from seams on top portion of rainfly. Noticed manufacturer used seam tape and did an awful job applying it. Ended up using two coats of seam seal on rainfly. Black coating used for dark room technology is also flaking off.

9 week trip
Bought this tent for a vacation out west. It was easy to set up and for the most part held up. However we got caught in a storm and it shattered the poles on one side in two places. I need some replacement poles butt don’t have the model number. Hope someone at Coleman will be able to help me out.

Love this tent !
Easy to set up with one person. I had originally bought a 10 person Coleman tent with the Dark Room feature, but it was a little bigger than I needed and I struggled to put it up myself when it was windy. I belong to several social media camping groups and have recommended this tent several times.

Stays dark and ventilated well to stay cool!
This tent held up extremely well in a storm and kept us dry. It also has great ventilation to keep you cool and the dark room technology keeps you from waking up at first light. Finally it can be set up quickly and can be packed away back into its original bag with ease for convenient storage.
