Not durable in the wind
I have had this tent for a little over a year now and never had an issue until today in a wind storm. 22 mph wind gusts split one of the poles longways down the pole. I have camped in higher winds than that in the past with an older Coleman tent with no issues. Their quality is going down hill.

The best tent ive ever had
Not only have I used this tent every year for 4 years, i use it for multiple camping trips every year as well probably a minimum of 4x/year. It has held up through multiple heavy storms. It keeps you soooo much cooler than a regular tent and the blackout aspect also helps you sleep longer.

Bad Craftsmanship piece of Junk
The first time I used the tent the tie outs tore. the corners where you stake down the tent started to tear and one of them completely tore off with slight wind. The corners seemed poorly stitched and the materials were cheap. I can not believe this tent tore the first time it was used.

Large and comfortable!
This is a great, well thought out, comfortable tent. I was somewhat cautious about the 2 queen beds claim, but i can confirm that they do fit comfortably (and without needing to jam them in!) . the room darkening also is great, so you can be outside without being woken up by sunlight!

Loving the Dark room technology!
I received my 6 man tent with Darkroom technology a few weeks back and it is Fantastic! It blocks out 90% light and keeps the temperature cooler. Me and the husband loved being able to sleep in. Set was a breeze and so was breaking it down. Looking forward to lots of camping trips!

Simply The Best!
My husband and I love to take our dog, jump in the SUV, and take off to our favorite camping spot. It's a beautiful secluded area that's great for stargazing, especially in the winter. With the Coleman - 6-Person Dark Room Sundome Tent, we have made. This tent is so easy to set up, we get to start the night without fighting about who is "doing it wrong"! The poles seamlessly glide through the sleeves with no issues. The size of this tent is pretty great for two humans and a dog because it's actually a 6-person tent. The seams are strong and the materials used are high quality. You can easily see that this tent is made to last. We use a queen size air mattress with a heated mattress cover made of faux fur-like Sherpa material that keeps us super warm. I haven't used this tent in the summer yet, but I look forward to seeing how much cooler it will be in the hot months we go camping! If you love to camp, sleep cool, and want a tent that last many fun years ahead, I'd definitely recommend this Coleman tent!

Durable, Waterproof, Easy Set up
We have had our tent for 4 summers now and the first summer it proved to be worthy when strong winds and rain unexpectedly fell through the night. We didn't feel a drop nor did our tent get humid. Thankfully we staked the top properly and it sustained the wind and rain!!

Easy set up and good ventilation
We have used this tent a number of times, finding it easy to set up. I appreciate the cross-ventilation. I like the dark material, although somehow my rainfly is no longer waterproof. Is it possible to make it waterproof again? Or is it possible to buy a replacement?

This tent is huge.I can fit a Queen mattress and sleeps six people.It is also six feet tall.It comes with a bag to store everything.It was easy to put together. The big problem is that if anything is left on the screened porch it will get wet.Otherwise this is good

Easy to setup and roomy
The tent was easy to set up. It was the usual 2 poles criss-cross. When looking at the poles, I could tell this wasn't a "normal"-sized pop-tent. Once erected, I could tell it would easily sleep the 6 people advertised. The black-out was a good feature as well.

Really nice tent
This tent appears to be really nice. However, it is a bit cold in Illinois to take it out to test it. We did remove it from the box and check it out but unable to actually put it up and test it at this time. My son, who is 11 can't wait to use it.

This tent will last awhile
When I bought this tent I think I paid $200 and it's a pretty little cool tent. Blocking out light is so cool for sleeping in. Easy to put in your and just go. Durable and sleeps 6, you won't need another tent for a while when you have this one!

Weekend Camping w/Thunder Storm
I was intrigued by the Dark Room Technology from Coleman, and purchased this tent for a recent camping trip. Experienced two separate thunderstorms during the trip, and everything in the interior stayed dry. The two side-walls are almost completely mesh, which kept condensation from building up on the interior. The Dark Room Technology works, but do not go in expecting pitch black. I personally really liked the Dark Room.
I think the color scheme is great, and helps out in low-light conditions. The rain fly paracords are also reflective which is an underrated aspect for tents. I was able to set it up by myself, but with help it would be much easier.
New out of the box, there were a few tiny nicks to the bottom coating which initially concerned me, however no water came through. There was also a noticeable nick to the rain fly, which lit up like a tiny star during the day, but no water through that either so it must've just been a scratch to the dark side coating. Either way, a quality inspection process to catch these would appreciated.

I absolutely loved this tent! It was super easy to put up and put together. It fit 5 of us wonderfully. We had plenty of room with extra room to spare. It was comfy. We did not overheat in it either. It is perfect.

Blocks out light!
This tent is so amazing! It blocks out pretty much all of the light even in the middle of the day. I needed to use a flash light to see. It also helps keep the heat out as well even throughout the day.

Water proofing applied
Haven't used it yet, but just applied 2 coats of Kiwi waterproofing spray. We'll use it this weekend in PA at Granite Hill. I'm expecting a storm or two each afternoon or night and will report back.

Stitching is poor.
First time setup, the straps that hold the tent to the tent poll ripped on one of the corners. Seems there was bad stitching. Been 2 weeks and no response from customer care with an open case.

In addition to being bigger than our previous tent and allowing both of our cots to fit inside with room to spare, the Dark Room feature allows one to sleep in, well after sunrise, if desired.

Only for perfect summer weather
This tent has completely open screen windows under the darkening fly so unless it's perfectly warm and windless, you'll find yourself pretty exposed to the elements. We're currently camping in July at the beach and it gets windy at night. There is literally no heat being retained in the tent as the gusts of wind are blowing into the tent. I can't even imagine this tent in the rain. I don't understand at all why they would not have given you the option to zip open or closed some windows.
Other Cons:
- Coleman tent stakes are joke and bend so easily
- Only one hanging pocket to store random nicknacks
- doesn't seem to be built too well so have a feeling the seams and such won't last
Pros:
- The darkroom is nice to keep the heat down during the day and to sleep in a bit more in the morning
- very easy to put up
- nice height and allows us to stand completely in the tent
- door and windows that zip have toggles to allow you to tie them back. Our other Coleman is sorely missing that feature
- held up in the wind and didn't collapse
I really wanted to like this tent but it would only work in ideal camping weather. It will have to be returned.

Affordable and Durable
I have used a lot of tents in my lifetime... Some great ones and some duds. I have to admit I was skeptical about this one because it is inexpensive (the whole saying you get what you pay for) but wow was I pleasantly surprised! First off I love how compact it is (it easily fit nicely in my husbands bag on his harley) it is very roomy for a 6 person tent. The box states you can set it up in minutes (which I gave a strong eye roll at) but guess what??? They are right!!! 10 mins or less and it was all set up and ready to go. It is very durable and made with quality materials, but I think my favorite feature of all is the "dark room technology) it states it blocks out 90% of sunlight and it does!!!! To some people this may not matter but I am a very light sleeper so when the sun comes up I'm up! But not in this tent... I was able to sleep hours past the sun coming up! It was also great because we take our grandaughters with us a lot and this will allow me to put them down at night before the sun actually goes down and will allow them to sleep a little longer in the mornings. Overall I am more then satisfied and look forward to many adventures with this tent! Oh also taking it down was a breeze!
