We understand that you want to know how much liquid seam sealer is required to put in the seam of Coleman 6-Person Instant Cabin. We would appreciate the opportunity to check on your inquiry. Please be advised that the waterproofing of a tent usually becomes necessary after a few years of using it. If your tent is new and has not been exposed to a lot of UV rays, you should not have to waterproof it! When setting up your new tent, please be sure to stake the tent out well, use all your guy lines and all the Velcro straps when you put on the rain fly. Those few things are critical when it comes to the performance of our tent in rainy or windy conditions. Attaching all the Velcro when putting on the rain fly will insure a good, sturdy and wind resistant overall structure of the tent. Using all your guy lines will help to guide the water away from seams and windows if it does rain. The basic rule for setting guy lines on a tent is to stake them out tight at a 45&amp;deg; angle. The stake would normally be about 5 to 6 feet from the tent&#39;s main body, depending on the size of your tent.
