Such a fast easy set up
Setting up this tent was beyond easy. I could not believe how fast and easy it was to fully assemble. I love that the tent is light weight and also includes a traveling bag for storage. I did have to have my boyfriend’s help with setting it up the first time but I think I could easily set up alone next time! Super durable and high quality.

Disappointed
Zipper went during warranty period while we were in the middle of nowhere. Contacted Coleman and they make you jump through impossible hoops to file a claim and then deny it when you can’t fulfill these ridiculous requests. Coleman left us out in the cold and am so disappointed as I’ve always thought they were the campers’ company.

Lots of Space and Easy to setup.
I bought this tent 2 years ago to take my 2 boys car camping. I knew this was bigger than we needed but that was the plan so that we had extra space as they got bigger. We have camped in temperatures ffrom 32F-90F and in rain and wind and have had no problems. Super easy to setup, lots of space. I would buy this tent again!

Easiest tent ever!!
This is hands down one of the best tents I have ever used. It literally goes up in a minute or 2. Take down is just as painless. This tent easily fits a queen blowup mattress with room to put bags and stand up to change. We have taken it on scout camping trips and the other families are so jealous with how easy this tent is.

Terrible Tent in the rain
I have used this tent many, many times with no issues. This weekend we went to Colorado and we were rained on every night and got wet 3 of the 4 nights. The 4th night I had to set up my canopy over the tent and duct taped trash bags over the top vents to finally get us a good nights sleep before hiking a 13,500' mountain.

Pop up to get this one.
I couldn't believe how big this tent was and the space it contained. The doors are easy to access and the tent is durable, it withstood a windy rain storm that came out of nowhere . Super easy to fold up and move and maintaining it is a breeze. Possibly the best tent that I ever purchased. The cost was manageable also.

Best tent for all camping
Great tent that stands up to weather. This is not my first Coleman tent and I’ve never had one leak. Great tent if weather turns bad and will hold up in strong winds too. As a Boy Scout leader I recommend this tent for all camping. Easy to put up and take down. I also recommend adding the optional fly over the top.

Replacement parts
This is my second instant tent. First one just got old. I've had this one a year and a half or so and one of the corner pieces that holds the pole to the bottom of the tent and has the steak Loop in it broken half. Now the 10th doesn't stretch out taught on the floor. Is there any way I can get a replacement part?

Great, so easy to put up!
Extremely impressed with this tent. It goes up literally in seconds and is quite roomy (can easily sleep eight in individual sleeping bags). Feels and looks quality made. We tried it in the yard first, since we never used this "instant" system before. Oh, what a wonderful surprise! The easiest thing ever and works lie a charm.
We read that some people had trouble with rain getting in, so we deliberately did our trial in a drizzle (had to wait several days). Well, the rain was not terribly strong, but we had no leaking whatsoever. So that was good.
The only thing is that this tent is really heavy. So we will have to use it only for car trips (and it is fine). For the hikes, I guess you can dedicate one person from the group carrying just this tent (while others carry all supplies). On the plus side, after a long and difficult hike, last thing you want is to fiddle with the tent, and this one goes up like magic - effortless.
So, we are very happy with this one!

Water leak
I loved the ease of setup and tear down but not too impressed with rain proofing. It rained one night for several hours and had standing water on top around hub area that poured inside tent through mesh doors when i tried to remove it. Also had some wicking around the pocket that hangs on one side in corner.

Garbage
The insa cabin tent is literally the worst tent I have ever owned! I am in it right now as it rains and I am using dirty laundry to soak up th pond inside.the tent is sold without a rain flay which is rediculas and unless you are in the dry desert I do NOT recommend this tent at all! Complete waste of money!

Not Rain Resistant at all!
Bought in 2021, never used until this weekend for a camp out wedding. First light rain it instantly started leaking in the middle of the roof where the ring is at. As the day went on the leaking got worse. It was so bad the tent was wet from roof to floor with water droplets and pooling on the floor.

Beware you could wake up wet from the night due.
This tent is very not weather proof! The due that came down didn’t even get the ground wet, but the inside of my tent was completely soaked. The due also collected at the top of the tent where you hang your light, and ruined my light.. Very unexpected! Not what I was expecting from a Coleman tent.

Super Easy Set Up
Spent a week with my 10 year old grandson. I had also the rainfly for the tent. Rained 4 times (1 Was a thunder storm/took shelter build there. Was it was done went back to camp and found my tent was still up and dry on the inside.
Have also gone by myself and set up was okay (easyer with two)

Great price and fast set up!
I was just camping for 7 days in the mountains. I love how fast it sets up, and how fast it goes down! Another reason I love this tent is how tall it is. I can easily stand and move around. Plenty of room for my dogs too! This the 3rd season for this tent and everything is in good shape!

Good for family of 3
This is a great quality sturdy large tent where a family of 3 can fit nicely. It says it fits 6 people but I don't think that's the case. It will fit 6 sleeping bags but you won't have much room to move around if you need to fit 6. The tent is heavy and requires two people to handle.

Bought this tent cause it was gonna be a,easy-to-use one worst decision of my life leaked very bad in light rain water pooled on the top leaking inside there is pin holes all over it every seam leaked water and the zipper wont close without someone holding it while the other zips

Crap tents
Both leaked everywhere. Don't have my receipts and coleman says I need it. 600.00 I spent for junk that I won't even give to goodwill. With all the horrible reviews they should give refunds and discontinue the 6 person cabin tent. I will never buy anything coleman again.

Could be better
Easy to assemble, airy and comfortable. Poor Design. Door should be double centered, not just on one side. Entering the tent is difficult when there are two cots in the tent. One cot blocks part of the entrance to the tent. Zipper is difficult to close from the outside.

The perfect tent
I absolutely love this tent.
I go camping a alot and this is the best tent I've ever owned.
Its nice a roomy and it definitely fits 6 people.
It's very easy to put up its not complicated at all.
It doesn't leak when it rains and it's just an overall perfect tent.

Great overall
Great tent with enough room for 2 cots and a small end table inside. Very easy to set up and take down. I wish they would slightly enlarge the bag to make it a little easier to pack the tent back in it. Only complaint is that it came with a few small holes in it.

queen size beds
advertised as being able to fit two queen size mattresses. we had two raised queen size mattresses and they fit but were squeezed in side by side with no walking room in between. maybe they meant two flat queen size, because it sure didn't work with ours.

Easy set up
The set up is super easy! We got a break in this cold weather and we’re able to fully enjoy!! The set up and breakdown were a little difficult, but not so much to where we couldn’t put it up or take it down. I just honestly have never put a tent up myself!

Dream tent doesn’t work
This was our dream tent so we bought it. It came defective. They sent us a new one. We got to the campsite again this one doesn’t zip so it was full bugs the whole night.just stinks because we really loved this design and company but nothing is going right

Easy and fast instant tent set up less than 5 min.
We love camping and the 6 person tent I bought was a very easy setup. Love the thickness of the product and very spacious inside we could fit a queen and a full size mattress. Perfect cover top for when it gets to hot, windy or even when it is raining.

Easy to build
My husvand was actually very surprised. It took him like 5 minutes to build the tent up by himself and same amount of time to take it down. He was even shocked that then tent actually fit back into the bag that it came in with. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!!

Great tent for dry weather. Set up in a minute or or two. But this tens leaks like crazy in heavy rain. It stays dry in a short light rain but if the rain is heavy or a long light rain it will leak. It needs a separate rain fly to keep you dry.

Big durable
We used this for a weekend getaway to the mountains, fast easy set up, nice material and well made. This is a big tent too it slept all of us with no problem and room to spare, .I would recommend trying one for yourself yiu won't be disappointed

Returns is not free
Did not use, needed to return but it’s at your own cost. To return through carrier of your choice, the cost is the same or more as the tent to ship back to Coleman, it’s a lose-lose return policy. You are better off buying a tent through Amazon.

Thank you for contacting Coleman, the Outdoor Company. We understand that you want to know how much liquid seam sealer is required to put in the seam of Coleman 6-Person Instant Cabin. We would appreciate the opportunity to check on your inquiry. Please be advised that the waterproofing of a tent usually becomes necessary after a few years of using it. If your tent is new and has not been exposed to a lot of UV rays, you should not have to waterproof it! When setting up your new tent, please be sure to stake the tent out well, use all your guy lines and all the Velcro straps when you put on the rain fly. Those few things are critical when it comes to the performance of our tent in rainy or windy conditions. Attaching all the Velcro when putting on the rain fly will insure a good, sturdy and wind resistant overall structure of the tent. Using all your guy lines will help to guide the water away from seams and windows if it does rain. The basic rule for setting guy lines on a tent is to stake them out tight at a 45&deg; angle. The stake would normally be about 5 to 6 feet from the tent's main body, depending on the size of your tent. We hope we were able to provide you with an answer to your question.
