Rated 1 out of 5 by from Unbelievable negative experience Still trying to understand why a company will continue to sell a fly separately, and then sell a fly that don't fit! At 1st I thought maybe it was package wrong, 2nd one shipped, still too small, asked them to send the next size, too big. I guess this tent is garbage because you can't use without a fly, n they don't sell one to fit. Never again for Coleman. A brand that was Good long ago!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Don’t bother... 100% waterproof but only covers the roof. Water stills falls on the windows and door so windows need to remain zipped up during a rain event and if you need to enter or exit during a rain event water will run into the tent. A full fly with vestibule would be nice, but then again that would negate the convenience of a “instant tent”.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from False statement by Coleman Rain fly does NOT fit my Coleman Instant Cabin tent, 6 person( 9x10.) I tried for an hour to attach, NO way, it is too small. Got online to see why, only to find that Coleman came out with a NEW "Coleman Instant Cabin Tent 9x10 with only one hub. Obviously, this rainfly was intended for the new one. Would have been nice if Coleman had stated it was for the ONE HUB tent, not the original one. Why in the world would you manufacture two tents, so different at the top, and call it the same name. DONE WITH COLEMAN.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Rain fly doesn't fit 6person 10x9 like advertised We have the Coleman instant 10x9 6 person tent. I didn't like the fact that it did not have a rainfly. So I did some research online and found that Coleman sells this rain fly for the 10x9 6 person instant tent.. This rainfly does not fit specified tent.. We spent over 30 minutes trying to attach the rain fly four different ways, the material is too short. This is a false advertisement on colemans behalf. Guess I should have read the other reviews saying that it doesn't fit before. I purchased this rainfly.

Sadly we were already camping when we discovered it and got wet and cold. It would be good to know if Coleman does make a fly that covers this tent.

A rainstorm ruined our last trip as the rain was so strong our tent could stand up to the leaks and we had to head home sooner than planned. We did t want to take a chance ruining another vacation camping so we were very excited to try this. Simply put it was a breeZe to install and worked like a charm. We got some rain and it ran right off the top. Great item. A must have for any camping trip.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Ok product Normally our 6 person tent doesnt come with a rainfly. I ordered this one to help keep moisture from the top joints. I tried for 2 hours to "fit" this rainfly to our tent! front to back it was good, BUT was about 2 feet short of covering the length of the tent. Trying to stretch was out of the question as the pole framework started to buckle and bend if you tried to secure the fly anywhere on the other end

I had thought I was actually getting the full tent though not just the cover so that was disappointing. (Should say something like tent not included.) Like most things do when you purchase them. Other then that, it appears to be a good product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun time camping I got this product to try and write a honest review about it. I went camping over the week and it was a small chance of rain. I set up my tent,put on the rainfly cover and had no problems getting the cover on. This cover allows you to be able to have the windows cracked open without any rain getting into the tent. It also helps keep the rain from falling right at the bottom of the tent. This product is awesome!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Tricky product picture displaying under tents 1st I will take blame for my purchase of thinking I was buying a 6-Person Instant Tent w/ a rain net based on how this accessory was shown and being a 1st time customer I was so excited by the price I purchased immediately and once delivered and no tent I went back to site and read the description and then realized I screwed up. I still feel it should only be shown under accessories and not tents.

It worked really well. And so easy to set up and use as well. It’s great too if you have small children, if you set it up with no tent and put a pole up in the center it is great for shaded area for the kids to play while camping as well

Thankfully I have the 6 person instant tent rainfly accessory by Coleman to put on top of my tent to keep out that extra moisture that can cause the tent to mildew and wet bedding! It comes easy to put on instructions which are also waterproof.

I always bring a large tarp to set up over the tent because it’s dryer and less condensation, the floor stays cleaner because it’s dryer. Just a win win win. Plus this tent is up in no time and I can set it up by myself. I bought a Pomoly titanium stove and I’m planning to go camping this winter. I love camping.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Helps with wind and protecting the top of the tent Using the rainfly tie downs in addition to the tent tie downs helps out on windy days. It protects the top of the tent on rainy days, but not the sides or the door. Coleman in Australia has a rainfly that covers the entire tent, and the front part can be opened up to use as an awning. I wish they sold that in the US. I would buy it.

It actually fits 6 people in it and i could poot a air mattress in it. The rain protection is the best because no rain cam in the tent. It is breathable and doesn't feel hot inside.

Also so easy to store back in the original bag! Love how it has windows screens all around with zip ups and also at the entrance! This tent is very sturdy holds down pretty strong! I could also 2 queen size airbed in there!

The tent and rainfly could be square so the fly would fit in any direction. The tent and rainfly could have some means, like Velcro straps, to easily organize the tie down cords.

It was around 75 degrees outside and this rain fly helps to circulate air into the tent and just air it out. It helps out especially when it rains also. No rain is getting into the tent! I really like this accessory!

I got my Coleman 6 person Instant Tent up, put the rainfly on. It was a good thing I did. It rained 3 inches that night. The inside of the tent stayed dry and comfortable! Love it!
