My only complaint is that the only thing wrong with the first one was two broken pieces on the hub that were not available anywhere in the US or Canada, so I had to buy a new tent for lack of two plastic pieces worth less than $5.

At times where the wind was blowing and the other "dome" tents were almost flat this stayed up and weathered the weather. The other scouts were amazed at how fast this set up and took down. And it was large enough that my son could have all this friends come and spend the night.

They should have kept it brown on top and black on the bottom like it was before. 😡😡 My Wife and I got 1 that was brown on top and black on bottom, and that saved our lives in -10° weather.

In theory, this is an easy and nice tent, but in reality, it’s too expensive to break like that. I’ve always love Coleman tents, but this one was terrible.

It probably would fit. It's a great tent and easy to set up but you need to find a big open space for it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by MonkeyLeader from Good Tent... needs a bit of tweaking My wife and I have had our Instant Tent since it first came out. We've never had issues with the poles, though we are now getting some poles that are sticking.. but with a bit of twisting and pulling, they are extending. Also, a little bit of lubricant helps...as I think that water and dirt are causing the poles to gum up, which is why they are sticking. The windows and roof vents are awesome. The door needs to be redesigned though, because when it rains, the water cascades into the open tent. The rainfly that we purchased also doesn't protect the door enough from the rain, so it's impossible to get inside the tent when it rains without getting water inside. Either the front of the tent needs to be angled so that the roof is further out from the base of the tent, or the fly should have a bigger extension out the front. This would be a perfect opportunity for a entrepreneur to design something for these tents. Overall, the tent is as advertised... it goes up quickly and comes down quickly. The door is the only real downside to this tent.

The instructions were clear, and all the poles and stakes were included, making assembly hassle-free. Durability: Despite encountering some unexpected rain during our trip, the tent held up remarkably well. The WeatherTec system effectively kept us dry, with no leaks whatsoever. The tent also withstood moderate winds without any issues, providing a sturdy shelter throughout the night. Size and Comfort: I opted for the 4-person tent, and it provided ample space for two adults and our gear. The center height is also decent, allowing us to move around comfortably inside. Ventilation was excellent, thanks to the large windows and ground vent, which kept the interior well-ventilated even during hot weather. Portability: One of the highlights of this tent is its portability. It packs down into a compact size and fits easily into the included carrying bag, making it convenient to transport to and from the campsite. Regarding the roof poles, all of the roof poles should extend fully to provide the proper structure for the tent. It sounds like you might be experiencing an issue with the side poles not reaching the ground without bending the top poles.
Please ensure that:

1- All Poles Are Fully Extended: Double-check that all roof poles are completely extended. Sometimes they can appear extended but might need an extra push to lock into place.
2- Correct Setup: Follow the step-by-step instructions provided in the manual. If you did not see extenders on the roof side for the two poles, there might be a step missed or an extender that needs to be fully engaged.
3- Tent Orientation: Ensure the tent is oriented correctly on flat, level ground. An uneven setup can sometimes cause poles to appear misaligned.
If after trying these steps the issue persists, there might be a defect with the tent. In that case, please contact us for further assistance.
