Rated 3 out of 5 by Cindy from It leaked! I love the design of the tent. A front porch is great for our young boys to take off their shoes before going into tent. However, we had about 12 hrs of steady rain (which is a lot and unusual). Water leaked into all four corners of the tent. The rain drained down the fly and soaked those corners. We were stuffing all of our dirty clothes into the corners to soak up the water. Water also leaked in at the side seams and soaked the toddler blow up bed that pushed up against the side. I did try to deal the seams from the ibside of the tent before we went camping but evidently it wasnt good enough. I will seal it again before we go camping next time. @

Rated 5 out of 5 by Happy camper from Sturdy and affordable I really like this tent. Its roomy inside and the front porch is great. It's a little tricky to put up alone. Next camping trip I'm going to try staking down the corners first. I went in the middle of October so it was a little chili. But i took my infrared heater and the tent stayed nice and warm. It does not have to electric port. But I put it thru the front porch and covered the cord. Since the front porch has no way of covering the screens i put a ez up over the porch. It didn't rain so I could not test it out. I plan on putting tarps on the sides of the ez up. I will take pictures and write another review next camping trip. Thank you

Rated 2 out of 5 by R.X.7. from Ok overall, but poor in the rain The front porch seems like a good idea at first but isn’t actually that useful. It ends up as the ‘mudroom’ to leave shoes, but in rain literally becomes the mudroom. In medium to heavy rain the whole front area, and everything in it gets soaked. Rain also leaked into the sleeping area - presumably from the fine mesh border across the front. The front zipper also broke - likely because of poor design. There is 1 vertical zipper and two horizontal zippers that all meet in the centre. Without opening one of the horizontal zippers along with the vertical zipper (which no one ever does) it puts too much stress on the vertical zipper. Would not recommend this tent.

Rated 1 out of 5 by KayCee from Tent failed the first time out Bought the Evanston because we've had great experiences with Coleman products in the past and was sure I could trust the company. In particular, the WeatherTec feature of the tent appealed to me, because no one likes a wet sleeping bag! Unfortunately, the very first time I took the tent out, we had a Kansas thunderstorm blow through, and the tent failed miserably. The rainfly doesn't cover the side windows from wind-borne rain, and water just poured through the seams at the bottom of the windows. Also, again after just one night's use, the pole sleeve at the top of the tent is showing wear and splitting -- I seriously doubt it will survive a season. See photo. I called Coleman to request a refund, and was told the only thing they could offer is a $6 bottle of seam-sealer. Thoroughly disappointed in Coleman's product design and poor customer service. I'll be shopping another manufacturer in the future.

Zippers failed and loose teeth, pole split, rip stop fabric ripped, leaks, screen tears, and tent steaks bent on first use. If your not going to a heavily groomed camp ground on a perfect day this shouldn’t be your first choice. Coleman use to be my go to but I am starting to question the quality of their products. Really sad since this was a wedding gift from my wife.

Rated 3 out of 5 by 4whlr from nice design but materials are sub standard Tent holds up fairly well to a moderate rain (minor leaks) bit and tent poles began to breakdown during the initial assembly and scored/cut the tent pole sleeves during disassembly. Screened porch seems a good idea until rain when it becomes a muddy mess. Overall a nice idea but poor execution.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Nevans from Pole pouches ripped on 2nd use. Rain floods porch. Good value for a dry desert campout. However, after the second use, the pouches for the tent poles already ripped. Wear was visible and caused by rubbing of the rain fly on the pouches. Not a good design - too thin.

Rated 4 out of 5 by JenniferDisney from Withstood five days of rain! Went to Disneyland in early March and stayed at an RV park down the road. (We love to tent camp). Rain was in the forecast but we’ve been plenty of times we figured it would only be some showers....we were wrong!! It poured the entire time with few breaks in between! The good thing is, our new tent stayed completely dry inside!! The only thing I can say is it was hard to put away.
