Rated 5 out of 5 by Krasi81 from Great tent for a Family of 4 with lots of gear! Very good tent. Used it 1 week ago. I slept 4. Me, my wife and my 2 boys during a camping trip. I had a Queen size air bed and a full size airbed on either end of the tent and still had what seemed like 6 feet of space in between, which I used to put my gear. The door is very convenient. It can be tricky to get the velcro to lineup, but not a big deal at all. What I really like about the door is the design. I had zipper issues with a previous tent, because of the tension put on the door. This tent zips very easily, and I can see it lasting much longer!! I got a lot of compliments from the other dads too, which is always a plus!

Rated 5 out of 5 by CMay from Great Family Tent! Recently got this tent and it is great! I love how the instructions are sewn into the tent bag so I don’t have to ever worry about losing or forgetting them. We did the initial setup at home as the instructions suggest and so glad I did. While it isn’t very complex, I still suggest doing a test run before using it the first time just to see how things fit, and save time later when you actually get to your destination.This tent is made for up to 6 people and my family of five fits perfectly, with room to spare. The quality is great, I can tell this is going to provide us with a lot of good memories.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous from Overpriced and poor quality I purchased this tent along with a much cheaper, Coleman Sundome tent. The kids were very excited to use it and it was very roomy with lots of features. Both were brand new and we got caught in a storm on our first trip out. The PEAK1 was completely destroyed. It folded durning the rain and wind. The aluminum poles snapped and the fabric ripped. I had all the guy lines out and all staked out. It was very disappointing to pay $400+ for a tent and have it completely destroyed when the cheaper $80 tent survived without any damage. I would not recommend and the kids were traumatized by not feeling safe in it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by kristi3760 from Great Tent! We love the Peak1 Tent 6P Backpacking DRK Stone C001 Tent! Since we finally got some nicer weather this week, we set the tent up in the backyard to try it out. My two oldest son's decided to spend the night in it and said it was quite nice. We put an air mattress inside the tent and my kids were comfortable throughout the night. The tent was pretty easy to set up and had plenty of room to spare. It is a great quality tent and very durable. We will definitely use it a lot in the Spring and Summer on hikes and camping trips. I definitely would recommend this product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jersey Bob from Very satisfied We've spent almost two weeks in this tent and it's proven to be weather proof and durable. In one heavy rain we stayed competed dry, and last night thunder storms rolled through, dropped at least an inch of rain in about an hour and blew so hard the wall and roof of the tent flexed down and touched me as I was laying on the air mattress. I felt certain the supports were broken but they sprang back up as if nothing had happened. Very happy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Molly J from Perfect family tent This is the PERFECT family tent. My older kids (4-6 yo) have recently expressed an interest in camping. We got this tent a few weeks ago and have gone “camping” in the basement twice as practice. This sets up in minutes and the instructions are on the bag so you will never lose them! My husband likes that the rods are different colors, so you know what goes where. He is also 5’10” and can fully STAND UP! We are so excited to take this on a real camping trip with the kiddos this spring.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Puddy from DO NOT BUY. COLD AND DAMP The tent only has a screen door and windows which makes it VERY COLD for August camping. My Eureka tent that has screen or fabric option. The floor and associated tarp are useless . In the rain. The floor of the tent was wet all week. We had to store our belongings in the car. Fortunately we had double high air beds but it was very damp wet sleeping conditions. The floor should be the same quality as the Skydome tent.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Glenn from Water sipping inside steaks flimsy This tent is amazing easy to install and takedown. However rain water and moisture is sipping inside the tent on the opposite side were there is a triangle cutout with the logo on it. Wake up on a wet tent my air mattress is wet underneath and our personal stuff. The aluminum steak easily breaks they are not good for gravel pads campgrounds. I checked the other reviews and this is also the downside or complaints about this tent water is sipping.

We want to let you know that our tent is only intended for use in three seasons, so we don't advise using a Coleman tent in cold weather or during the snowy season. The tents denier (or thickness) will not provide adequate insulation from the elements. It may also freeze and split in colder temperatures. Also, the poles are fiberglass and may snap under the weight of snow fall.
