They wanted to sleep outside without the fly on the tent so we could go to sleep gazing at the stars. The boys are 7 and 8 and helped me put the tent up, it was unbelievably easy and fun doing it together. Even though we didn't put the fly on the tent they wanted to read the instructions on how to put it on. The 7 year old commented on how genius it was to sew the instructions to the inside of the bag and it's not paper, so it won't rip. The only thing I wish is that the bag was just a bit more spacious. Which seems to be pretty common with camping gear.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Dbear17 from Awesome tent! This tent was very easy and simple to put up! The package said only 5 minutes to set up but honestly took my husband and I 20 minutes as it's so big. After we got it set up we let it air for a couple minutes and it definitely had that new tent smell. This tent is definitely a good size for 6 people and had so much room! The zippers worked well and didn't get stuck at all. The little room up front is very spacious to sit so bugs don't get to you. It's also very breathable in there. I highly recommend this tent. It's very easy to put up once you get it figured up and very easy to take down and roll up and store away.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Beachmama from Good Tent But Need More Tabs Inside This tent is new this year for me. Worked well on two extended car camping trips. My only reason for giving it 4 stars is that there needs to be more fabric tabs inside the tent to hang daisy lights, etc. otherwise, I really liked it! TIP: on the bottom of the bag is a tear off white strip that will expand the size of the carrying bag making it easier to repack the tent, poles, etc once it has been used. We didn’t notice that until 2nd trip!

Between fighting off bugs or having our necessary accomodations for our daughters nightly asthma medication routine it always felt impossible. This tent comes with what I like to call the porch (screen net) to allow us to enjoy the sun rise/sunset when the bugs are most prominent. Or the electric plug in that we can use to power out daughters nebulizer! We got the 6 person tent but it was perfect size for our family of 4!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Matt B. from Held up to high winds, rain, and hail We finally got use this tent over the weekend. I am impressed. It stormed on us every day, even had quarter size hail on Saturday. The screen room did get water in it, user error, the zippers need to be completely zipped and “pushed outward” then no water will come in. The room was great for taking off shoes covered in sand and mud, thus no sand or mud inside the sleeping area. The sleeping portion of the tent stayed completely dry. Plenty of room, and all the pockets are great!

Rated 2 out of 5 by MNGirl from Not the Best Tent I was so excited for this tent. Tent with a sitting area to be in when it is raining or away from bugs. Perfect, but not what I expected. Used the tent for a weekend of hiking and it was a disappointing rainy weekend.The rain fly ends just after the screen area and collects all the rain down the entrance of the tent. The tent entrance was soaking wet the entire weekend and the nice pretty lime green decals not only absorbed the water, but kept the water like tubes. When you went into the tent it would then leak into the tent. If you tried to get it out of the fabric it would seep back into the ten through the stitching. After a weekend the rain fly was also dripping water right into the tent. The design flaw is not for anyone who would be in rain weather. I had ideas to make this tent work, but for the price it was better to return and get something I did not need to alter. Not the right tent for someone who need protection from the elements.

The only thing I wish it had was some thing like a stake at the front center of the screen so when you pulled the zipper up something was there to hold down the floor. I also wish there was some sort of a hook on the interior center of the tent to hold a very light lantern like my old tent did when I was a kid. Not sure yet how I feel about the whole back window being screen only and you’re not able to cover it up.

It is the perfect size, not too big, not too small and it can sleep up to 6 people. We are a family of 3 so we had plenty of space. We used it in the backyard with our 6 year old and she loved it. It was very easy to set up, took us no longer than ten minutes and breaking it back down is just as fast. Comes with a storage bag for when not in use. I love the added headroom (i’m 5’9) and I think the tent looks great, very appealing to the eye. The wide door definitely helps when moving things in and out. We blew the air mattress up inside the house and carried it out so this feature came in handy. The mesh storage pockets were also a hit keeping our must have but easily lost items in one place. And last but not least the screen room is hands down the best. When the kids sleep or you just want to chill you have a nice bug free area to do so. We love our new tent and can't wait to use it again!!
