I was super excited to receive this amazing sized tent. I live in the Rocky Mountains where enjoying the outdoors is a lifestyle. With the cold weather and wind I was only able to set it up and use it once, but will add more photos once it warms up. I have a large family and having a large tent is a must. This tent is so large you can put a large air mattress and still have extra room for activities or adding multiple air mattress. It’s super durable and amazing quality. The material was thick and high quality. The net was high quality to keep the bugs out.Set up was super easy and easy to follow. The color is pretty. My family really enjoyed this item. I definitely would invest into one of these as it can fit the whole family and see it lasting along time if you store it properly. You may never need to buy another tent. I would highly recommend this product and look forward to spending more time in it. Make the investment and buy this Coleman tent.

My wife and I purchased this tent because our old one (26 years old) finally started to leak and was too small for our 2 cots (or Queen-size air mattress) and our dog. This tent has more than enough room for our 2 cots or our Queen air mattress (we could actually get a King-size). The tent is easy to put up and take down. I did apply sealer to the tent after it arrived as an added precaution. I only have 3 very minor complaints/concerns. 1. The zipper on the netted entrance gets caught in itself quite often when trying to open and close it. 2. While we do like the added "lip" to keep water out, it is quite a high lip and my wife kept catching her foot on it, tripping going in and out. 3. The flooring of the tent does not seem to be as heavy-duty as our old Coleman tent, and I am concerned that it could rip more easily at the staking sites or tear from something under the tent. We did buy a very heavy-duty ground cloth from Kodiak to place under the tent for this reason. But all in all we are very happy and we hope to get 26 years of use from this tent also.

I have friends that have property outside of town and let me keep the tent up and I can come and go when I need a break. It’s been up since mid December- January in Southwest Florida. We’ve had a few downpours, wind very cold temps (for us cold is 40). During one hard rain I accumulated maybe 3/4 of a cup of water combined in each corner. I wiped it up with a paper towel. I did spray the entire rain fly and tent with scotch guard. As hard as I tried to put it up myself - in the end I needed a 2nd person for 5 min. I’m 5’2 and definitely need a two step stool to reach the middle. The tent is incredibly spacious. It’s only me and my dog and I have mine set up for glamping. I’m very impressed with the durability. On cold nights I used a heater (I’m lucky to have electric) it holds the heat in well. My dog and I both trip on the lip coming into the tent you would think we would get the hang of that 🤪. As usual zippers are just ok. I wish there was a room divider. The front porch is a great feature and is versatile. I love that you can enclose it completely or open one side and not the other. The front porch has 4 windows you can zip up or down. I also wish there was another option for electrical - it’s on one side only and in the middle. Having mainly Core Tents in the past overall I’m pleasantly surprised.

When we arrived at our site and unpacked the tent the rainfly had an odd patch where it looked like the remains of an animal had gotten packed in with it. There was fur caked onto the area and it smelled like death. We didn't have much choice in the matter so we continued to set the tent up. The very first rod that got pushed through the first pole slit tore a hole in the pole flap. It did not affect the structural integrity or compromise the waterproofing of the tent but was a surprise at how easily the weak material was torn. It does not bode well for the lifespan of this tent. We continued setting up the tent. Except the fact that the inside of our tent reeked of dead animal, everything else seemed ok. We had read plenty of reviews that commented on the need to stake out the rainfly adequately. We did our best to proactively pay attention to that. Even with that care, we woke up the next morning to the sounds of dripping from all directions inside the tent. My son managed to sleep through the fact that half of his sleeping bag was wet. I stepped in more than one puddle as I tried to navigate the tent to see where or how the issue had happened. It had not rained a drop all night, and yet the architecture or planning of the text structure caused such condensation collection that everything in the tent needed to be air dried. Our camping neighbors purchased the same tent as us and while theirs did not include a dead animal, they experienced the same problem with the condensation. Our previous tent lasted 20 years with none of these issues. We know how to setup and take care of a tent...this was such a disappointment (not to mention the disgusting state it arrived in) and I don't want my family sleeping in it. I would pay to get rid of it. I filed a complaint 5 days ago but have not heard back.

The Coleman sky lodge tent is very large! It states that this sleeps 12, I’m not sure that I would say 12 people can fit in here, unless they’re small, or lots of children, but it will hold a nice size family or group. We were able to put a queen size pillow top air mattress in there, with a king mattress topper on it. It fit in there very comfortably and we still have plenty of room to move around. The front area of the tent is very nice for storing shoes, and other items that you don’t necessarily want in the living space. I like that this area zips up separately so that any weather or articles affected by the weather, can be kept separate from the sleeping quarters. The tent has a very high ceiling, so it’s suitable for tall people. It has a lot of windows, which is great being able to keep the windows open or closed. This allows for a lot of airflow. As far as quality, the tent seems to be well made for the most part, we did notice a few imperfections and small snags on screens, but overall seems good, and like it’ll hold up for a future camping trips. We are camping out in it, in our backyard currently, we are expecting rain, so we will see how it holds up against that. The directions for assembly are not good. Thankfully my husband has put up lots of tents in the past, and we were able to figure it out fairly quickly, but some of the pieces are not marked as it states that they would be in the directions. The tent, all packed up and in its carrying bag, is extremely heavy! So keep that in mind in regards to where you’re going to camp, and lugging the item by hand, or on your back, is not a good option. I would suggest you have some sort of cart or wagon to pull this item in. Overall, we feel like it’s a great product. We would definitely recommend it and we can’t wait to use further!
