We used it for our Easter this year so they could open their baskets in it and just hang out in the shade. It was super easy to set up, maybe took us 5 minutes and I think it only took that long cause it was windy. It’s super sturdy and high quality. I love the extra touch of the door mat and awning near the entrance. The ventilation was top notch as well. It was super hot the day we set it up, but because of the windows and doors being open it felt great. Highly recommend this tent for your family. I know we’ll be using it quite often this summer.

It was my mistake of trying to do this by myself. This is a sturdy tent and I love that I do feel safe in there. My family loves space so this is perfect for a family of 4. It does hold the heat or ac in the tent in well. I was lucky that it was raining one night in the tent and it was wonderful because we love the sound of rain. There were no leaks whatsoever. It was a little hard to take down and put away but we eventually got it. This is a fantastic tent overall.

It has locking tabs on the main supports that slide out and click into place, making it much easier to assemble than other tents we’ve used. It has additional pieces to anchor it to the ground and comes with a rain fly. There are zippers on two sides to allow easy entry and windows on all sides, along with openings at the top for ventilation. It has two pockets on the inside to hold items. In my opinion, it might be a tight squeeze for 6 people, but 4 people would fit comfortably.

I didn't put the rain fly on or stake it down since I was just seeing how it works before I actually take it camping when the weather warms up. It's really roomy, I'm 5'4" and can stand in the middle with extra headroom. My 2 almost 10 year olds had plenty of room. It was easy to take down and it went back in the bag ok. I think with practice I can get it in a bit better. I can't wait for warm weather to really test it fully!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Asdfg from This is the tent you want! I looked at dozens and dozens of tents before settling on this one. My grandchildren tell me I’m an old woman, and 5’1”. I used this tent for the first time this weekend. It went up in under five minutes. We had severe rain storms that lasted more than an hour before tapering off to drizzle for another hour. This tent didn’t leak a drop!

It’s really cool and sets up in about a minute. The directions were a little tricky, but we got it. It’s very spacious, has great ventilation, and comes with a carrier for easy transport. Taking it down was just as simple. My only concern is that the poles might wear on the material over time. I set it up in my basement since it’s winter, but I can’t wait to try it out on a real camping trip!

They make high quality excellent tents as well as other things you would need for camping. This tent is a six person Coleman Sky Lodge tent that is really not difficult to put up. We took it out this weekend and we had rain unfortunately but we were dry in the tent. It has plenty of room for cots and even air mattresses which is what we use both of when we're camping. This is the perfect size 10 for a family. It's made of heavy duty material that was stands the moisture. It comes with everything and instructions to help you get it put together and I like how heavy duty and durable the material is. This is definitely my favorite brand of camping equipment and this tent just proved that it was another reason why I like Coleman so much

Yes, many campers find that the Coleman&reg; Skylodge&trade; 6-Person Instant Camping Tent can be set up by one person thanks to its pre-attached poles and instant setup design. However, having a second person can make the process easier, especially in windy conditions or when staking out the tent. We recommend doing a practice setup at home before your trip to become familiar with the process.

Unfortunately, the Coleman Skylodge&trade; 6‑Person Instant Camping Tent does not include a dedicated footprint. A footprint (or groundsheet) is a thin protective layer placed directly underneath your tent floor. It's not required for this tent, but it offers some benefits. 

The Skylodge tent features a bathtub-style welded floor (made of polyethylene or polyester) with sealed seams and strong weather protection under clause WeatherTec&trade;. This provides decent built-in durability and water resistance, but even robust tent floors benefit from a footprint, especially over abrasive terrain.
