This tent features the WeatherTec™ system, with welded corners and inverted seams that help keep you and your gear dry. The 2 wide doors (front and back) make it easier to move airbeds, sleeping bags, and other gear in and out of the tent. This 6-person tent's size makes it a great choice for your car camping adventures. The Skylodge Instant Tent comes in a range of sizes: 4-person, 6-person, 8-person, 10-person, and 12-person.

Great tent for a family
This is a great tent. It fits our family of four with room to spare and is super easy to put together. We have only used it in good weather so I can’t speak to how well it protects against rain, but looking forward to using it even more this upcoming summer.

Take down / packing up
Bought last year but my family decided to go glamping. Going to use for the first time next week - practiced setting up in backyard and it was a breeze except for rain fly, rake down/folding up was difficult and I was afraid I was going to break the poles.

Good family size
Easy to put up. Canopy comes off for great star gazing. Plenty of room for 6 people to sleep. Ventilation works great also. I live on a hill and use this tent in my backyard for my kids. Gets very windy living high up and the tent did stand up pretty well.

Easy Assembly!
I got this for free in exchange of my honest opinion. I have to say I was surprised how easy is to assemble this tent! It comes with a bag for storage. I poured some water and it did not come through! Great quality and 100% recommended!

Very impressed with the easy of assembly of this tent. It took approx 2 min to set up. The tent is easy to toss into a trunk and is of top quality. The tent has proper ventilation and is water resistant. It can fit 6 people comfortably.

Nice tent
Easy to put up. We camped on an extremely windy night. The top flap kept blowing around and keeping us awake. I would recommend having Velcro on portions of the top so they stay more secure. Other than that a great tent!

What a great tent!
I’m so happy I got this tent! 🥰
It is very easy to put up! Once you get it out of the bag and in place, it more or less just pops up on its own, and then you just have to stake it down, and add the rain canopy and secure that. It also comes with a small tarp/mat that you can put in front of the tent to help prevent tracking in dirt and such, and that was a really nice added touch! It has four windows for ventilation which was great, and a few side pockets for storage. We didn’t experience any sort of bad weather, but I think the rain canopy would have worked wonderfully if we did. It captured a lot of debris/bugs so they weren’t directly on the tent. We had a queen size air mattress in there, and we still had more than enough room for all of our bags and supplies and room to be able to walk around freely in there (it was just my husband and I staying in the tent). Tearing it down was a little difficult, just because we weren’t sure how it was supposed to be folded back up, but we got there! The bag it comes in makes it very easy to transport. Also a big fan of the color scheme!

It’s big, I set it up in the house because the weather hasn’t been ideal. It’s really spacious and way bigger than I thought it would be. The material seems very sturdy and I’m excited to take it camping.

Hello, thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately, the Coleman Skylodge&trade; 6‑Person Instant Camping Tent does not include a dedicated footprint. A footprint (or groundsheet) is a thin protective layer placed directly underneath your tent floor. It's not required for this tent, but it offers some benefits. The Skylodge tent features a bathtub-style welded floor (made of polyethylene or polyester) with sealed seams and strong weather protection under clause WeatherTec&trade;. This provides decent built-in durability and water resistance, but even robust tent floors benefit from a footprint, especially over abrasive terrain.
