Rated 5 out of 5 by dp26_6818 from Already loving it and can’t wait to take it on our We just got the Coleman Skylodge 6-Person Instant Tent and honestly, we're already head-over-heels for it! We were so excited, we set it up right in the hall to try it out and it was unbelievably easy. It took just a few minutes and there was absolutely no frustration at all, which is a huge win for us because tent setup can sometimes be a nightmare. It's seriously spacious inside, with plenty of room for all of us (the kids were running around in it!) and all our gear. The big windows make it feel open and airy, not at all like a stuffy tent, and the airflow seems fantastic. It also feels really sturdy and well-made, like it can definitely handle whatever weather gets thrown at it. We were also surprised by how portable it is. It folds down pretty compactly. We haven't taken it out camping yet, but we're planning to use it for our summer trip to the camping grounds in the summer and we’re actually looking forward to sleeping in it. If it performs as well as it did during our little test run, this will absolutely be our go-to tent for all our family adventures. We can already picture all the memories we're going to make in it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by nikkil26_7876 from Spacious, easy to set up, and packed with smart fe The Coleman 6-Person Instant Camping Tent is another win from a brand I trust—I typically always use Coleman camping gear because of the quality, and this tent didn’t disappoint. Setup was quick and easy—not quite the 2-minute promise, but we had it fully up in about 5 minutes, which is still super convenient. The tent is very spacious, and I love the height. My boyfriend is over 6 feet tall and had no trouble standing up straight to get dressed, which is a huge plus. The two-door design makes getting in and out easy, and the included carry case is fantastic—unlike many other tents, this one actually fits back into the bag with minimal effort, especially with two people. It holds a triple-high queen air mattress with room to move around, and it even comes with two internal pockets, which are super handy for keeping small items off the floor and easy to find. The only downside is the roof vent that doesn’t close off completely—rain won’t get in, but when we camped in 38°F weather this past Memorial Day, we definitely felt the chill from the escaping heat. Still, this tent is clearly designed with warmer weather in mind. Great quality, thoughtful features, and easy to use—just what I expect from Coleman.

Rated 5 out of 5 by kelceyrian_1387 from Durable, simple, worth the buy for an avid camper I had to use a stock photo because I completely forgot to take a picture of this when we took it on our last trip. 🤦🏼‍♀️ Full disclosure, I had my husband put this up and he is a lot more handy than me and he actually reads instructions. If I would have put it together, no doubt I wouldn't have read the manual and I 100% would have assembled it wrong twice before I got frustrated, looked it up on YouTube and did it right. 🤣 YouTube, because even after all that, I still wouldn't read the manual. 😎 That said, according to him, the assembly and disassembly was smooth and easy. It is Spring where I'm at so there was rain. It wasn't heavy but we didn't have any issues with water leaking so that was great. It was a great size and the ventilation was superb. The doors were big, making it super easy to get in and out and set up our bedding and gear. We also loved how quick and simple it was to pack away the door. Seems to be built out of durable material too. I would recommend this to others since the material is durable and it has a straightforward assembly/design. It's not inexpensive but for people that have the money to go on multiple camping trips a year, this won't break the bank because it'll pay for itself in the long run versus buying a less expensive version that breaks after a few uses and lets water in easily.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Genaa from Great tent looks stunt but super bulky storage This tent extremely easy to set up. You can do it by yourself. It is extremely easy to follow the instructions and almost anyone can do it. The tent looks gorgeous when it’s put together and is easy to stake into the ground. It’s extremely easy to disassemble, but it is incredibly hard to figure out how to get it in the bag perfectly. I have an extremely hard time folding it up. I keep getting the tent folded up where it’s bulky on one side and super skinny on the other. If there’s one thing I could change, it would be how to put it back in the bag. You definitely need a tarp underneath your tent, even though it has the tarp lining when folding it up, it is extremely hard to clear all the dirt off of the tent due to how it folds. I got extremely covered in dirt folding this tent and trying to sweep the dirt off so that it wouldn’t make the tent bag extremely dirty but in the end I was dirty. The tent was dirty, and the tent bag was dirty. I also did not realize that the tent bag would be so large. I knew it would be big, but I didn’t realize it would be the size of a pop-up but I guess that makes sense because it resembles a pop-up in installation. It rained a lot on this camping trip. I took it on and we did stay dry. They do wish the rain fly came out a little bit over on the sides more allowing for less rain to come through the windows. Very spacious on the inside and a lot of headroom. I am 5’7 and I could not touch the highest point in the tent but closer to the door I could scrape my head against. There were three of us staying in this tent with two large dogs. For this trip, we chose three large cots from which took out a large amount of space in the tent, allowing just for the room for the dogs to lay down on the ground.

Yes, many campers find that the Coleman&reg; Skylodge&trade; 6-Person Instant Camping Tent can be set up by one person thanks to its pre-attached poles and instant setup design. However, having a second person can make the process easier, especially in windy conditions or when staking out the tent. Unfortunately, the Coleman Skylodge&trade; 6‑Person Instant Camping Tent does not include a dedicated footprint. A footprint (or groundsheet) is a thin protective layer placed directly underneath your tent floor. It's not required for this tent, but it offers some benefits. 

The Skylodge tent features a bathtub-style welded floor (made of polyethylene or polyester) with sealed seams and strong weather protection under clause WeatherTec&trade;. This provides decent built-in durability and water resistance, but even robust tent floors benefit from a footprint, especially over abrasive terrain.
