I set it up in my backyard, to give it a trial run.
The tent is tall enough to stand up in with room for a queen sized air mattress and tons of space for your stuff. There is a port for your electrical cord. Two pockets are attached inside, and a welcome mat was included. Set up and taking it down was very simple.
For the size and price of this tent you will not find a better deal.

Great Tent—But Zipper Failed Right After Warranty
I did a lot of research before choosing the Coleman Sundome 6P tent, and at first, it truly felt like the perfect choice. It was easy to set up, spacious, and most impressively—completely waterproof. We had some rainy nights and stayed totally dry inside. For the price, I felt like I had found a gem.
Unfortunately, just after the one-year warranty expired, the zipper on the main door broke. I’ve tried several DIY fixes from YouTube, but none of them worked. The zipper won’t stay closed, which makes the tent practically unusable now. I’ve searched but can’t even find a Coleman zipper repair service or a clear replacement option.
This feels like a quality issue with the zipper, and I’m honestly heartbroken. I loved this tent and wanted it to last for many more adventures. I still think the design and weatherproofing are great, but a tent you can’t zip up properly isn’t one you can trust in the outdoors.

Durable and lightweight
This tent was easy to carry around when its packed up and very simple to set up. It took around ten minutes total to fully get the tent up and it didnt rip throughout the trip. The inside of the tent is spacious and comfortably fit 4 people in it. It did pretty well with keeping bugs out and was easy to take down again. It's a great tent and it seems very durable.

Not water proof at all
Brought this tent camping with our kids. We weren’t expecting rain until the second day but this tent is a weathertec so we weren’t worried about the rain falsely assuming that we would stay dry. Initially we stayed dry for about 30 minutes of drizzling rain but then it started to drip from the top of here the rain cover touches the beams. As the rain picked up it also began to drip in through the sides. We ended up having to get up at 2am to put a tent shade/rain cover over the tent to stay more dry. Then the second night we bought a can of camp dry waterproofing spray. We applied this. It helped a little bit and the second night but water still came through the sides of the tent near the floor. We all slept at the very middle of the tent both nights so not pressed to the sides but it leaked from the roof first before it leaked anywhere else. Very disappointed in the waterproofing. I’m not even sure I’d call it very water resistant.

Do not buy this tent, save your money
The quality is very poor, the pole was cracked on my second use, now I need to purchase a repair kit and fix it myself. I also found the floor tarp is not sturdy, gotten few hols in one use. Not recommend use this tent for a cold weather, the fabric/material is very thin and we had terrible experience when there was a sudden temperature drop.

This tent is awsome in so many ways. It has a lot of room actually for 6 people like it has on the description . I like that it is rain resistant and has the cover where you can remove it to let air in. The instructions were clear and it was easy to install. The material is well made and when it is all set up it stays sturdy.

It’s easy to set up and small enough to throw in the back of the truck without taking up a lot of space , storage wise also. Big enough for a full and queen size air mattress and still a little bit of space for bags and personal items

Awesome tent
This tent is t easy to set up and fits our family of 4 and dog comfortably. It rained the night we used it and it stayed perfectly dry inside. Breaking it back down after use is also very easy. I love that it is user friendly durable and stays dry. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a tent for the family.

Easy and Fast Setup!
My new Coleman 6-Person Sundome Tent is a great addition for my family. This tent is made sturdy and the setup is quick and painless. It is made to fit 6 adults comfortably or 2 queen sized airbeds. The inside is very spacious and has storage pockets for your items, a ground vent, and two windows. I haven't used it in the rain yet, however it guarantees to keep you dry thanks to the WeatherTec™ system. It uses a tub floor with patented corner welds, protected seams, and a covered zipper to help keep water out, which is awesome. It has also been tested to withstand 35+ mph winds. It has a door awning and comes with an included rainfly. Setup was so easy. I actually let my 14 and 15 year old sons see if they could do it and they had no problems. Breaking it down was also easy. It also comes with a expandable carry bag for storage. All in all this is a great tent. It is roomy, (10 X 10 Ft.) and very spacious (center height 6Ft.). I definitely recommend Coleman's 6-Person Sundome Tent.

Affordable and durable
We used this for a weekend camping getaway and the setup was simple and it kept us dry when it was raining. It also had nice venting which kept the air circulating. It was big enough to fit 2 queen size air mattresses. It was also very easy to pack up, and comes with a nice bag.

I went on an overnight (sleeping in the forest in tents) while at an overnight camp, and all of my stuff got absolutely soaked by rain. The rain flooded the tent, leaving my sleeping bag, pillow, and more still damp the next day after. I had to then sleep in a barn with spiders.

Spacious and easy to set up.
I bought this tent for dispersal camping in locations that aren't as accomodating for an rv. I admit I've gotten spoiled with the rv so wanted something large enough to put an air mattress. You can easily fit a queen air mattress in here and still have room for bags, etc.

perfect for backyards
My kids have been dying to go camping but we live in the city and really dont have much time to go out and camp in the woods. So with this I pitch the tent in the back yard and create amazing memories. So sturdy and durable and holds all 5 of the kids. I love this.

Great family tent
Arrived in good condition with all pieces. Easy to set up, spacious interior. Family of 2 adults, 2 kids under age 15 spent 2 nights in it with no rain or challenging weather and it held up just fine. Seems like this will be a great family tent moving forward.

Great Tent For The Budget
Our 6-person tent is perfect for my 4 person family. I'm 5'10" and can stand up completely in the center. It's 10ftx10ft in length and width. Very easy to set up as it's a 2 pole tent. This makes camping a breeze for my small family. The kids love it too.

While I was camping it poured down rain. I did not put a tarp over my tent as I would normally would do. Instead, I said to myself I am going to trust my tent. The next morning, myself and all of my belongings in the tent were bone dry!! Thank you

My tent just arrived yesterday. I struggle on what to give this tent for rating because I just got it. It is easy to put up and take down. Zippers works well, just watch the cover flap. Fit the queen size blow up matress but it take up the entire tent.

Great tent!
I have a family of four and this tent is perfect for us! We are able to put two queen size mattresses in it and still have room at the top! Easy assembly also. This tent is very compact when carrying and lightweight! I highly recommend this tent!

Spacious and secure.
I am so happy with the 6-Person Tent from Sundome. My kids and I love to camp out right outside in our backyard and this tent does the job well. It can hold a lot of people and is also very secure and doesn't get wet inside when it's raining.

Do NOT use in windy conditions!
My prior Colman tent, which I loved, lost the weather sealing and during a rainstorm this weekend, soaked all the contents inside. Because walmart was the only thing open this weekend for a replacement, we sought out a replacement tent. We decided to go with the Coleman Sundome due to limited choices at the store.
While this was great with light rain, the next night, the temperatures dropped and it got pretty windy. I would NOT recommend this tent in any windy situations. The stakes that came with the tent easily came out of the ground and turned out tent into quote the parachute.
Whole trying to sleep, the design of the tent allowed for so much wind to enter inside. With it being 29 degrees, it was a little worrisome that the wind was blowing that hard into the tent. With that also being said, the poles held up, but don't be surprised if it feels like the tent will collapse on you or the poles will snap in the windy conditions.
I really liked the last Coleman tent, and I'm not sure if I'm able to return tbis after using it, but I am going to try.

First time tenter!
This was my first tent. My 8 year old and I used it on a school camping trip and were able to set it up on our own. There was significant rain that night and we stayed completely dry. It was easy to set up, roomy, and well crafted.

Easy to set up
This was a gift for my son's 9th birthday. We set it up on Saturday and kept it up until Monday. It is very durable! I actually set it up by myself. It is also very roomy, definitely enough space for 6 people. We love our new tent!

Love this tent
This tent was so easy to put together. It began raining shortly after we put it togther(go figure) and I was pleased that we did not get wet at all. There is room for two queen air matresses, so this is great for our family.

For the Coleman Sundome 6-Person Camping Tent, seam sealing is typically not required right away, as the tent comes with factory-treated seams. However, for extended or frequent use, we recommend checking and resealing once you notice any signs of wear or leakage, rather than after a specific number of days. Here are some helpful waterproofing tips: Before use: 1. Inspect seams and apply a seam sealer if needed. 2. Use a ground tarp (footprint) under the tent (slightly smaller than the base). 3. Apply a waterproofing spray to the rainfly if expecting heavy rain. During use: 1. Ensure the rainfly is properly secured and tensioned. 2. Avoid touching the inside walls during rain, as this can allow moisture through. 3. Set up on slightly elevated ground to prevent water pooling. After use: 1. Hello, thank you for your inquiry. Yes, you can set the Coleman Sundome 6-Person Camping Tent on a wood platform or deck, but it&rsquo;s not what it&rsquo;s designed for or recommended. It&rsquo;s made to be staked into the ground, so on a deck, you will run into a few issues: You can&rsquo;t stake it down, so it may be less stable in the wind. The floor can wear faster on rough wood, and water can behave differently underneath it. If you do use a deck, put a tarp or footprint under it for protection Use weights or tie-downs instead of stakes and make sure there are no sharp edges or screws on the deck. It might work on a platform, but it performs best on dirt or grass, where it can be properly staked and tensioned.
