Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good tent kit with exceptions The rubber hammer that comes in the kit is great but you cannot use it for backpacking due to its weight. I ended up with a bent stake when I encountered a rock under ground, I was using a rock to hammer in the stake and was not using much strength so I was very disappointed when I saw the bend in the stake. The top part on each stake (the blue part) is made of plastic, I thought it was steel because my friends was made of steel. But it worked just as well any way. I appreciated the little wish and dust pan, very useful.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Affordable and Handy Having all these useful items in one bag is great. They'd usually be in 4 separate places. And small enough to put inside the tent bag so it doesn't get lost. The metal stakes are awesome - I've been replacing all those old yellow plastic ones that bend and break, so getting 4 in this kit is welcome.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Compact and so handy if you have the space to pack If you have the room / weight for this little kit I highly recommend! The mallet is always super helpful and i camp in windy areas so having extra stakes is really helpful (they fit in a variety of tent brands). I camp in a very windy and sandy location for a few weeks a year and a dust pan and small hand held broom are so underrated! Sand gets in my tent no matter what, either as I step in or the wind blows it in. This small broom helps me keep the bottom of my tent sand free and my fellow campers are always asking to borrow.

I'm very glad that I purchased this because we ended up needing extra tent stakes and the mallet proved to be invaluable. This was the first time I had taken my kids camping, and for all their effort they struggled to keep the "no shoes in the tent rule". The dustpan and broom worked very well and became one of my kids favorite chores to perform during our trip. This lives in the back of my Jeep now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Handy kit for camping I picked this up on a whim when shopping for camping supplies. I was looking for a hand broom to sweep out our tent and could only find this one in this kit. I didn't know how handy it would be to have the mallet and extra stakes, as well as the stake puller. They're not as essential as the broom (which every tent needs!) but it's nice not to pound in stakes with firewood anymore! If you're a camping family, I definitely recommend!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Durable and Easy to Handle! I honestly thought the tent was just missing from this.. until i realized that this was just an extra kit used for while you already had the tent. Needless to say, she does work perfect stored in the car, incase i’m in a jam, i have perfect accessories to handle myself. Although im sure the stakes would work perfect in ground, they also would work perfect protecting myself against strangers.
