Rated 2 out of 5 by marinejf from Did not live up to its name - leaks in rain This tent is spacious and great for dry weather, but it leaked when raining. We set it up perfectly, with the rain fly properly guyed out, etc. We were also careful not to touch or have anything touching the inside walls. A few hours into the rain, water started dripping slowly through one panel of the rain fly. I suspect they failed to waterproof that panel of fabric. Rain also leaked in at the seams where the floor material is joined with the sides. Rain also leaked through the end-panels of the tent, again right through the tent fabric. I am estimating that about a cup of water leaked in through the sides and seams. The real problem was the water dripping from above through the rain fly because we had to move everyone to avoid the dripping.

Rated 4 out of 5 by JoshY from BIG TENT I am writing this review more for the customer service provided than the tent itself. I have spent three nights in my tent and it is big. I camp with my family of 6 and this was very spacious for people gear and the dog. The D door was a selling point for me as the kids like to go in and out for various reasons and I figured it would prolong zipper life( major fail point of low to mid range tents). 2nd set up of tent and the fiberglass pole for the D door shattered in the sleeve( ripped small hole). Contacted Coleman and went through the process of submitting photos and such. 11 days later Coleman shipped out a whole new tent. Again, this tent is ok but buy from Coleman because they back their products.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Bullfrog from Love this tent Have had this tent for about a year, we enjoy camping in the mountains. Weather can be difficult. Has been through rain, winds of 30 mph and came through with flying colors. Did treat the rain fly prior too the first use. Can be set up with only one person but I recommend two, specially if there is any wind. Some struggle with placing the poles in the foot attachments. Lot's of room. My wife and I use cots and use a small table with room to spare. When using in hot weather, open all windows and set up in the shade. We have used a tarp with reflective surface placed over the fly, to keep things cool and under the fly to keep things warmer. Love the door that will always keep it's self closed. Looking forward to many more years of enjoyment.

We have 4 children and a dog, and our setup includes 2 Coleman double-size cots on either side and a camp kitchen table in between to serve as our vanity/catch-all. We've camped from Joshua Tree to Big Sur, to Yosemite, in rain and shine. We LOVE the hinged doors, the screens, the windows, and best of all -- the ability to sleep under the stars with the rainfly off.

Rated 4 out of 5 by CamperSmith from Spacious and dry This is my 2nd Coleman 10-person tent. I love this tent for our family. It is very spacious and keeps you dry. I fit 8 people in it at one time. My children won't camp in anything else. Cons: The older version had a screen house at the front of the tent. The more recent version does not. My only other con is the middle pole is the hardest one to put in the stake. It feels like the fabric should have 1-2 inches more of "give".

Rated 5 out of 5 by Trekvagabond from Durable, Handled Weather Great I bought this tent despite the many reviews about it no mastering the weather as advertised. I am currently sitting in the Black Hills of South Dakota after enduring an entire night of pounding thunderstorms and rain (heavy). Not one single leak. Rain fly didn’t leak. All seams held. So what is different from my review to others? Not sure if others used Scotch Guard on their tents. But I routinely set mine up before use and apply a good coat. It seems to do the trick. The pictures taken were from today 07-20-20, you can still see the moisture bearing on the rain fly. It even took several falling pieces of tree bark like a champ. Overall great tent so far. Requires 2 ppl to set up. Love the space, love you can stand straight up. Yes the instructions sewn in show the other model with the screen’d in room. No biggie. Overall happy with the purchase.

I called customer service and they told me it will leak in the rain. Well, then it's not a WeatherMaster is it? Then to add insult to injury, the condensation leaking in the morning woke me up with a drip right between the eyes. Definitely do not recommend!

Rated 2 out of 5 by MScorpa from "WeatherMaster" not waterproof! I thought I loved everything about this tent until a hard rain lasting all night. The rain fly leaks and water is dripping in from the roof so I have a tarp covering me in my cot but I am soaked along with all my stuff. There are deep puddles of water on the floor. The rain is also obnoxiously loud on such a large surface area. Forced to go sleep in the warm, dry car.
