First night out leaked like Niagra falls!
We replaced our Colmen Weather Master 12 that we LOVED after 10 years. This is slightly smaller and not screens one end, but we loved the D door so we went with this similar model. Took it out and the first eight hours after setting up we had rain. There were leaks from both doors, through the doors and the zippers. Water weaped in the walls and the ceiling dripped through the rain fly all night. We had pools of water in just about every corner. I have not seen a tent leak like this since my Grandpa's old canvas tent! We were Colman people but this is just disappointing as so much money was lost!

Family soaking wet during heavy rain
Family soaking wet during heavy rain Even after waterproofing the tent fly twice. Great tent if it doesn’t rain. Recommend using a tarpaulin over the top of the “rain fly”. I regret the purchase of this item. My wife doesn’t want to go camping anymore as a result of the appalling experience. I purchased the tent in the US and brought back to Australia.

Family of 6 and a big dog!
This tent was perfect! It does require a large flat area, with its rectangular shape. We were able to have 4 twin air mattresses and 2 smaller single person air mats, and still had a large space to enter the tent in the middle. The tent has strong poles, which make the overall carrying weight of the tent heavier, compared to tents with the thin fiberglass poles. This tent has good airflow. I don't love that it has doors on both sides (seems unnecessary), but it doesn't really matter- since we only used one. We are very happy with the purchase and know set-up will be faster, the next time we camp, now thart we have done it once.

Seams tear, need waterproofing spray, good in wind
We've owned this tent for several years and have camped in it dozens of times. The waterproofing is poor, until we treated the entire tent inside and out with a waterproofing spray. Several seams have torn all over the tent, especially where the poles go. Its like the poles are too long for the design of the tent, and stretch the material and seams until they tear. Multiple stake loops have torn off. The tent is simple to setup and the wind resistance is indeed very very good. Once we waterproofed it with the spray it was indeed very weather-proof. We are now ready to replace it, but we won't be buying another of the same tent.

Plenty of room
Me, my wife, two daughters and niece took it camping for four nights, and it rained the last night. No issues and there was sufficient room. It took a minute to figure out how to set it up as the instructions weren’t too clear, but it wasn’t a problem. We didn’t take the time to put the divider up, but the door is a nice touch. It’s hidden, but there is a small inlet in the back for an electrical cord to slip through. Overall, this purchase suited us very well.

Bad zipper design, can't withstand strong wind
We are experienced campers. Took this tent to Big Bend National Park - it was only the second use of this particular tent. A wind storm on night 2 took the tent down and bent the poles so badly that they are broken. When we tried to zip down the door, the zipper kept getting caught in the overhanging fabric and is now broken. We ended up spending the remaining nights sleeping in our van because the tent was completely unusable. This is not a durable tent and the zippers are poorly designed. We will be looking for another brand to replace this one. Very disappointing. For the price, we expected much better quality.

Wind, rain, branches & snow our tent never failed!
We have had this tent for 10 years, and used it every year with multiple set-up each year. It has seen multiple high wind storms, thunderstorms, hail storms and even a freak snow storm. It has remained upright and 95% dry through it all with no maintenance done to it in all those years. Sure two poles are slightly bent, but it had a picnic table blown on it. It only now after @ 100 uses the fly leaks and the tent storage bag is beyond repair. We are desperate to repair our home away from home because we don't want to buy a new one and risk it failing on us

8 yrs and going strong
We have had this tent for 8 years. We are a family of 4 and camp in California. We camp 4-5 weekends a year. I LOVE this tent. It is still in great shape and working well. We have been in blasting heat and freezing cold. It is a solid option for both times. It is HUGE and as such, takes a while to put up. But if you are looking for a big tent to hold your family-- this is a good option to consider.

Nice size! waterproof but not windproof
Ample room for 6 single air mattresses with room to spare. The tent bottom is excellent, and design is generally good. But severe wind can flatten the tent and bend poles. There doesn't appear to be replacement tent poles available.

Great tent for a family camping!
we have had this tent for about 2 years now and am very impressed at how well its made and how well it withstands the elements. we live in northern Montana where the wind never stops blowing with driving rain and still dry inside. overall I am very impressed. the only down fall for the tent where the instructions but they say the new ones have revised instructions.

Excellent Tent
We have had this tent for three years now and it has seen it's share of wind and rain. During each storm, the tent remained stable and leak-free. The hinged door is absolutely spectacular! I don't think I will ever go back to zip door. In heavy winds, it is possible to zip the door shut from the inside, but we have never had issues with the door staying closed. It's definitely roomy! We have more than enough room for 2 full size cots, a fold-up table and chairs. We have even hauled our bikes inside to keep them dry. Love this tent!

Roof is porous
The tent is fine if it doesn't rain. Good even.
But if it rains, the entire roof leaks. All of it, not just in one or two spots. After an hour or so of rain, it rains inside the tent.

Took this tent to the mountains where it rained every day and once all night plus a hail storm and the only time it leaked was when it was being pummeled by hail. The rest of our week was soggy on the outside but dry in the tent.

Poor Quality and a waste of both time and money.
I'll keep it short.
The instructions sewn into the tent bag are for another tent, we got quite a surprise setting up in the dark the first time.
The corner reinforcements are so thin you can see through them and are only single stitched.
The material is very light wt. as are all the components including the zippers and webbing at all attachment points.
The stitching was not properly terminated and stray threads are left in many spots, I expect this tent to unravel with time.
The rain fly is not coated on the interior, and none of the seams are taped so it leaks like a strainer.
1st use we got drenched in light sustained rain. I had to put a tarp over the tent.
2nd use we had a critical location where the poles are held rip, this tent will not survive a 3rd use and I will be chasing Coleman for either a new tent, credit, or my money back. 190.00 wasted plus a lot of aggravation while on vacation.
Pic1 and 2 show the bag and instructions do not match, 3rd pic shows the failed stitching/material where one of the main poles is held. I should have taken pics of the soaked gear and puddles, but I had other things on my mind like where did I put the backup tarp. I'll be buying another brand from here out. Coleman is now owned by Newell, they do not have a quality department obviously. The design may have been a good one if the workmanship and materials were proper. The additional cost of buying a better tent is small when you look at the hassle it caused on my vacation with my family. DO NOT BUY THIS TENT. I'll be lucky to get them to go camping next year. An activity I enjoy very much.

Easy to set up, great features
My family stayed in this tent for two nights. It was easy to set up. The main poles stay upright while you put up the rest. Plenty of nettting for air flow. The netting is strong too. My dog jumped up on one of the windows and the netting did not break.

Stake loop ripped apart
Only used the tent three times in 1.5 years and on the third camping trip the stake loop ripped out while pulling it tight. Nothing excessive just a normal pull and the thread that holds the loop in came apart. Now the tent has a giant hole in the corner. And go figure it’s out side the 1 year warranty. Will not buy a Coleman tent again. It would be different if they would replace, but they only make tents to last year apparently.

A Spacious Shelter for Group Camping
The Coleman Weathermaster is an absolute winner for group camping trips! It's incredibly spacious and is comfortably accommodating. I love how sturdy and mostly weather-resistant it is. It helps provide peace of mind even in stormy conditions but I’d try and seal the bottom if it’s very rainy for long durations.. Plus, the ventilation system keeps the interior fresh and cozy. Setting it up is easier than I thought, and the room divider adds a nice touch of privacy. Overall, it's a fantastic tent that ticks all the boxes and I feel so lucky to have received it! Thanks so much!!

Not a weather master
Tent part was amazing, kept everything dry in the thunderstorm, till the poles started bending and breaking in the wind that comes along with the rain (they’re not a heavy gage). Now I now have a great tent with no poles. The only pole that didn’t bend and break were 3 of the arch poles for the top of the tent.

Hinged Door = Happy Mama
Great space for our 6 person family! We use 3 twin air mattresses, 1 queen air mattress and 1 toddler air mattress with space for bags and extras. Yes, that is alot of air mattresses...we sleep good! The hinged door is great for keeping the tent closed as kids are running in and out. We use an additional setup for kitchen and everything else outside, so we had tons of room inside. We see big wind here in the Midwest and the structure of this tent does great!

Adventure Awaits
My daughter and I pitched our new Coleman 10 today that Influenster sent me for my honest review. The Weathermaster was pretty easy for first-time setup. The instructions weren't great, but it was fairly obvious how things went. I will be applying seam sealer as I have on every tent. I like the fact that there are no seams on resting on the ground. The ventilation will be great on this tent with the rain fly. The divider is great for privacy, and the hinged door makes going in and out of a breeze. Coleman didn't slack on room as this tent is huge, with the highest point being 6 foot 8 inches. If you're looking for a tent that is made well and will last for years to come, I definitely recommend this tent for all your adventures.

Best tent I’ve ever owned!
This is an amazing tent! Not only is it huge, it is easy to set up and tear down. This tent is big enough for my whole family to sleep comfortably. There is plenty of room! And it was so easy to set up and tear down. I was worried I wouldn’t be able to get it back into the travel bag, but I got it in just fine. Also, the hinged door is pretty cool, I had not seen that on a tent before. If you would like a spacious tent for your family, you gotta try this one. I almost forgot, the top is a screen, so if you leave the fly off you can gaze at the stars!

We love the tent roomy plenty of head space for a 6ft guy stayed in it for 5 nights the first two were 90 degrees days then a night of 40 mph winds and extremely heavy rain for 4 hours. We only had one small leak but couldn’t find wear it came from. The following day it rained gently and tent never leaked. It the was 50 during the day and 35 at night for the next two days. I’d admit it was a bit chilly , in saying that I wish Coleman would make an option to close some or all of the mesh roof. Other than that completely happy with the tent

Not a rain master
I live in Oregon and while camping you get rain sometimes, after a lot of research I found this tent the Weather Master "Guaranteed to keep you dry". during one of our camp outs it started to rain that morning, with in 20 minutes the tent started to leak through the rain fly, not the seems (they were taped) but right through the material. After 35 minutes it started to leak at each corner of the tent. After the trip I called Coleman, customer service was great they said this tent should have performed better than it did and sent me another. This week we set it up in the back yard and after a couple of days we had some rain showers one morning and it failed in the exact same way, first the rain fly then the corners. I couldn't believe it. I have been a long time consumer of Coleman products they have always been great but this was the first time I tried one of their tents and I am not happy about the performance of their tent. The other thing about this tent is that when it's put together the sides are not very taught, rather floppy. Not sure what else to say except, it's a good tent if you live or camp where it doesn't rain but if there is ever a chance of rain that will last longer than 20 minute I would not buy it.

Poor quality
I bought this back in 2021 from Amazon where it sells from the coleman store but just set it up for the first time to try out later this year. It does not hold up to the least bit of wind, the poles bent, one of the fiber ones broke, and the tent itself ripped as I was staking it. I feel like a sucker because I just bought a bunch of coleman camping stuff.

Worth it!
My husband and I decided to give it a shot, and wow, we're thrilled with this tent. Our previous one took a painful 2 hours to set up, but the Coleman Tent? Just a couple of minutes, both for setup and takedown. Despite being just the two of us, the 10-person tent easily accommodated our queen-size bed, chairs, clothes, picnic basket, cooler, you name it. Room to spare! Those large windows and easy-zip doors? A game-changer. We weathered torrential downpours for nearly a week—no water or leaking issues. Even threw an extra tarp for good measure, but with strong winds and heavy rain, not a single hiccup. More pleased than ever with this tent. Love those nights sleeping under the stars with the rain fly off—it's a breeze to take on and off solo if needed. This tent has truly served us well!

I am on my second weathermaster 10 person tent. I bought my first one back several years ago when they first came out. I have used it I. Several different types of location and weather.
