The first year we used it in Franconia Notch and it torrential down poured for 3days and nights. Our whole site was tarped off and we stayed dry. The next time we used this tent I did not tarp at well and we did get a little damp. I was always taught to tarp off your tents. That being said the screened in area is nice for things you want close by but not IN your tent. I will say the poles are VERY heavy. This tent takes up ALOT of space in the car or carrier. We’ve had this tent for about 5 years, keep saying we’re going to get something smaller but we keep using it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Bellepatience from TARPS TARPS TARPS! We put this tent thru the ringer. It was lived in for two months in the dead of winter in British Columbia. Withstood two feet of snow on the roof and didn't collapse! However if you expect any tent to withstand any type of wet weather without properly using the guy lines and tarping off both under the tent and above you are sadly mistaken! Being from British Columbia and having spent most of my time in and around the Bush I can tell you that this tent is awesome I mean two months of constant use near two months of rain/ snow with not a single issue. But you have to tarp it off!

For a tent marketed as a "weather master" tent suitable for any weather and season I did not expect this tent to leak on our first use, nor the poles to be rusted on the insides where they come together after that first use. The tent is the perfect size for my partner and I. The "D" shaped door is definitely one of the best features. We were concerned about the screened in area not having a floor but this ended up being a bonus as it kept water from pooling up out there during the rain storm. An outdoor flooring that water could go through like an outdoor camping mat would be the perfect solution to that screened in area. I really wanted to love this tent but it definitely does not perform at all as advertised where weather is concerned.

Rated 4 out of 5 by sodada from Good value for your money I have had a coleman for 15 yrs, treat it like it owes me money and never fails. The thing I like most is I am not afraid of it getting damaged like I am with my expensive tents, get a small hole, tape it up and go, burn hole no problem, tons of rain and you are dragging mud inside hose it out later, it is full send all the time. I would never treat my fancy lightweight tent like that. I am cutting a stove jack in it next. The sundome is better for good weather conditions and if you don't mind a lot of sunlight. Its just an inner with a semi rain fly over it. If the rain is driving sideways it won't work well. Very good ventilation good for heat.

One night we were hit with a complete downpour for a good 30 minutes, then heavy rain on and off the rest of the night. We put a ground tarp down before pitching the tent and set the rain fly up properly. Tent stayed dry. Would recommend to anyone. The door is also a great feature, especially if you have kids.

Rated 5 out of 5 by princess_plumm from Water resistance isn’t the best, spacious Perfect for a family of four to take camping, especially if you have a toddler! The screen room gives you comfort away form bugs and the dirt while still enjoying the breeze and view. It’s also great when you need to take a mommy break from your toddler and you can put them in there for a minute or to so you can recharge or get an activity ready at the picnic table! I love the ease to unzip the doors and room divider, I also enjoy that when you’re not using the divider you can wrap them up and securely attach them to the sides with the built in loops. Water resistant is okay, I’d definitely get an extra layer put on before you go out!

It’s very large, I was able to fit two large sleeping pads, two tables, a pack and play, 2 backpacks, and two chairs comfortably within the main tent and screened area. Comes with a room divider. It’s a mansion of a tent. Great ventilation, windows on every wall. Held up okay in a sudden thunderstorm, stayed mostly dry and stood up against strong wind. The small downsides are that it’s very large and heavy to store and it takes a long time to set up. Overall the pro’s definitely outweigh the cons if you’re looking for a attractive, durable, large tent with multiple living spaces.

The room divider is designed to create separate living spaces within the tent, but it does not zip along the floor to fully secure each room. The divider attaches to designated points inside the tent to provide privacy and organization while maintaining flexibility within the interior space.
