Yes, all the other coolers have kept the items cold but the other important features paled in comparison to the Coleman name. The weight of the cooler itself is very lightweight yet very durable. Other coolers are way too heavy. The handles are sturdy not flimsy. The drain spout was simple to pop open and snap shut. Others aren’t so easy to get open and are even harder to get closed and stay closed. You will not be disappointed!

It fits perfectly on our boat, truck, and UTV. It appears to be very sturdy,durable and well made. It will hold at least 100 cans of your favorite drink. The top has 4 cup holders and measuring stick engraved which is especially nice when your out for a day of fishing. This cooler keeps everything cold for hours even on the hottest of days.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Dodsterr from Made in the USA! Our first camping trip this spring for 5 days. The label says 6 days. Temps were high in low 70's, lows in the 40's. And we came home with ice. Great job. I froze about 15 pounds of meat in ziplocks, and placed in plastic cereal boxed shaped containers. and put two gallons of frozen ice jugs. With about 24 cans and condiments. We came home with a golf ball sized ice cube in the gallon jugs, and cold meat! One more gallon of ice and it would have made 6 days, no doubt. This is the best way to not have a cooler full of melted ice and your food swimming???

The cooler was great and kept everything cold and even kept the ice frozen for the whole weekend. On our last night of camping (just 2 days after purchasing the cooler), a bear stole the cooler. The cooler held up surprisingly well against the hungry bear! But unfortunately, we had to retire the cooler early due to the damage from the bear. All in all, pleased with the cooler’s size and durability! We will definitely continue purchasing Coleman coolers.

Only then did they reply that it was too late. Have to pay for the return shipping now, which is half of what the cooler cost. I’ll never do business with them again!

I put some ice packs and a bag of ice in it and it stayed cold for a long time. The only drawback to this cooler is that it is not on wheels do it's a bit heavy to carry

Says keeps ice 5 days try 2.5 at best even after first bag cooled unit down and melted in one day after traveling in truck with ac on. Cooler has been in shade the entire time. 22lb bag added sat night is now 75-80% water in 48hrs. CAN’T wait to get home and return it.

This cooler was able to keep ice for over 24 hours on a hot deck and even started out with warm drinks in it. I would recommend this cooler based on how fast it got my warm drinks cool and how long it was able to sustain ice and freezing cold drinks. This cooler is light weight and holds a lot of bottles or cans, but seems steady and is durable.

And while I was sceptical of the claim that it keeps items cold for 5 days....it actually does!! I was super impressed by this! We took a roadtrip, stocked it full of perishable items, and didn't have to add more ice at all. All items were still kept cold! I will be using this for camping, roadtrips, and even for get togethers.

Went camping for 5 days, first ice (7 lb bag and 5 frozen solid bottles of water) didn't last through the 2nd day. Temps in the 70's during the day, upper 50's at night, cooler kept in the shade during daytime hours. After day two it was a new 7 lb bag of ice each day. Label says it keeps ice "up to 5 days".....I guess that is possible if you fill up the entire cooler with solid blocks of ice.

We were looking for a cooler for iur drinks that would keep cold for days as well as hold a fairly large amount of ice and drinks. Coleman did not let us down! This 70 quart cooler kept our drinks cold all weekend long! I was able to fill it with enough ice and drinks and not have to worry about it during our family trip. It was perfect.

It didn't keep the ice as long as I thought, but I did pull it out of a warm shed before I used it. I'm sure if it wasn't already warm when I put the ice in it, it would have lasted longer. That was the only down side. I do like the cup holders on the lid as well. Very good product in all.

It is a good size for taking to the beach for the day, camping for the weekend, or for a medium size party. Not too big, but you might need two people to carry it if it's pretty full. Longer handles makes it easier to carry. Still had ice cold drinks after opening and closing throughout the day. Can hold two big butts if you need seating. I'm happy with it.

It keeps ice cold all day, has a drain hole and 4 cupholders in the lid. It can also double as a seat. The only part that doesn't feel super sturdy are the handles but they are holding up fine for now. I sort of regret not getting one with wheels but that's my fault, not the fault of the cooler.

When shopping for a new cooler noticed many are taller rather than long. We wanted to get same size cooler. AI response indicated Igloo Max 5 vs Coleman 316 cooler are similiar. We used on a camping trip and noticed that the Coleman cooler sweats whereas our Igloo max 5 does not sweat.

True to the brand this cooler is super durable and lightweight. We had a refrigerator go out and we were able to save most of our groceries in this cooler. Not to mention, along with a decent amount of ice it kept the groceries cold for days! I love it!!

I have used it camping and trips to the lake. it kept ice as long as my friends Orca.. The problem is, one of the handles got broken, and I cannot find a replacement for it. Because it is a broken handle, it stays at home and can really only be used around the house, because I cant carry it anywhere.

I took food in it with frozen water bottles camping in the Utah desert and the water bottles still had ice after a week. There were days when it was in a hot car while we hiked. I am always amazed at how long ice lasts in this cooler.

This cooler does not seek to stay as soil as long as out other models but the walls are a little thinner so that may be the contributing factor.

I am having to reload ice on a daily basis. This cooler was even kept in the shade and it still eats ice. I would not recommend this cooler.

Coleman dropped the ball on these “marine” coolers. Transported it to the Bahamas and gave away to a resident. Lid is also barely capable of holding an adult. Ridiculous.

We have the cooler in our kitchen where the temp stays at 73 degrees and it will keep ice for only 2 days. Great exaggeration!
