On my first purchase the rubber seal on the lid kept falling out and cup constantly leaked so I thought might just be my bad luck so bought another one as I did like the fact that it kept my coffee hot for over an hour unfortunately after a week of use with my new cup the same rubber seal failed and not just a leak this time burning hot coffee sprayed out the lid scalding my hand. I will not be buying a third cup

Rated 4 out of 5 by kalina43 from KEEP YOUR RECEIPT FOR LIFETIME WARRANTY!! I have owned 2 Snapseal travel mugs,1-24 oz, 1-20 oz for 4 years. Over time hot beverages do not stay "piping" hot for 5 hours, however cold beverages (with ice) do remain cold longer. There are issues with the lids the seals stretch and cause considerable leakage. As long as you retain the original receipt their lifetime warranty is excellent. I called the retailer and after 4 years they will exchange or provide a full refund. Well worth the investment.

I absolutely LOVE this brand so much I bought a smaller one 1st, my problem now is finding this model to purchase, it’s my favorite color and I have a 20 oz and 24 oz pink one can someone tell me where I can purchase this exact one, it has been a while since I’ve had them but I want to renew them with this color. My coffee stays hot so much that I need to open the top to cool it off most morning but it also after closing it remains warm till the last sip.

But a couple months ago I noticed that it really doesn't keep my ice water cold like it used to. I can fill it with ice and water and by morning the ice is all melted. It's not a complaint I have gotten my money's worth out of it I just didn't know that if they got old they quit keeping things cool like they did in the beginning.

I find it a bit tough to open. But I guess that's what makes it leak proof. The size is great at 24 oz. And it fits in my backpack bottle pocket. The only thing is the cup itself can not be placed in the dishwasher. That may be due to the silicone grip. It's removable. But that may become a hassle in the future.

The lid is hard to clean especially if you have smoothies or soup. Lid is absolutely not leak proof. When I use these mugs I feel like I'm handling an egg because even the slightest tip or tilt will cause the contents to spill. Not good if you have an active lifestyle or work. I've ruined clothing and bags because of this and this is my 2nd mug with this issue.

I've spent many days looking througIh the cabinets at my work, looking into the cabinets at home, trying to mix and match lids with the right thermos. I finally have found what I was looking for. Very pleased with the design, the sturdy metal shell, and the leak-proof spout. Will definitely be purchasing this exact brand (possibly even this model) for life!

From the day I received mine I have used it daily, especially during the summer time. I was so shocked at how long ice water remained ice water. I believe it was well over eighteen hours. The ice was still whole..I LOVE THIS THERMOS!!! I am looking into making a purchase of my own. I recommended it to my sister and she purchased her own and loves it as well..

Rated 2 out of 5 by Ernest 1050 from Needs a better lid. I find trying to drink out of this in the dark is not easy, I usually take a drink of cold water with me to bed as I suffer from dry mouth. I reach over during the night and even in daytime I cannot get a drink without spilling some. The lid is not leaking, it is trying to line up my mouth with the hole in the lid. Most travel mugs have something you can feel with your mouth or tongue before you attempt to drink this does not. .Poor design.

Most other 24+ ounce models are either tapered or have some other crazy shape making them impossible to hold. This model is perfect. The entire tumbler is perfectly sized to hold and Contigo added a great textured rubber section. Of course, like all other tumblers they make, this one stays piping hot until lunch. Perfectly executed.

Contigo stands behind the product because of the solid construction. They keep water ice cold and coffee hot enough to enjoy for hours (no one wants a burnt lip so cool it first). I recommend their products highly. Never disappointed with their wonderful Customer Service and Warranty. A purchase I have never regretted. And I often have buyer's remorse.

Rated 5 out of 5 by annb40 from Fantastic Mug Reasonably Priced Best stainless steel travel mug! This is ultra durable so I never have to worry about the hundreds of times its been dropped. It keeps my coffee hot for a good 2 hours and warm for a couple hours after that. It's also great for cold drinks as it keeps my ice from melting for about an entire 8 hours! I use mine everyday, all day long!! The stainless steel is stylish and cleans up perfect everytime. The O-ring inside of the lid keeps it from leaking ever. The push up design drink opening is great as if you keep it closed when not drinking it keeps the drink temperatures more regulated and won't spill if dropped or tripped over. The price point on these is actually super reasonable considering ive used the same one for several years now 24/7!! My family owns several of the various Contigo stainless steel travel mugs and love all of them and this one too.

Rated 3 out of 5 by CRich from Logo on mouthpiece is annoying.To get rid of it... ...I used a conical bit sander and sanded off the logo to make it smooth. Now every time I take a sip of tea or coffee my lips are not going up against the uneven annoying surface where crud and caffeine stains accumulate. My experience is now pleasant and no need to use a toothbrush to clean into the crevices of the logo near the drink hole. You should do the same and experience the marked difference in your drinking experience!

Rated 1 out of 5 by John T from Not Spill Proof! SnapSeal is a bad design in relation to human behavior. When you open the seal you have a potential spill until it is closed. So, that means you have to open-close-open-close-open-close ... to prevent a spill. Users will tend not do that. I have not done that at times and spilled coffee numerous times in the car and other places with SnapSeal. Bad design, frustrating. Contigo should keep with press-and-release with each drink.

It keeps my coffee hot and fresh for hours and hours. Spills are not a problem because it seals completely shut. It works so well I got others in different sizes and styles. Rated 2 out of 5 by Mojo13 from Great Until It's Not (Lid Fail) I now own 3 Byron mugs that are unusable, I kept buying them (until now) because they're truly one-handed and leakproof -- until each lid failed, within 1-2 years, Attempted to replace the gasket without success; it kept twisting and I could not get it seated properly, Hard to understand why Contigo does not offer replacement Snapseal lids, given the durability of the body of the mug, and the fact that this is a known issue.

My only complaint is the paint. I don't throw mine around or slam it down but just from washing and wear and tear the bottom of the mug has chipped paint. The new matte black mug looks to solve this problem with a stainless stell circle around the the bottom. Its minimal and doesn't affect the performance. Love it!

After less than 5mins I have another complete mug coming to me free of charge. The tip given by the very knowledgeable and friendly Rep: Hand wash only. When filling with hot liquids wait 3minutes before installing lid. Simple. If it happens again when I asked, mug will be replaced again.

I returned the first mug I got thinking that it was just a faulty mug, but my new one still leaks. I don't like having coffee all over my hands and my desk.

They definitely keep his coffee hot/warm for up to 6 hours, but this week the lid seal failed and it leaks. I handwash all of my dishes, so there is no reason for this failure. I'd really like to get a replacement lid rather than throw out the entire mug. Anyone else with this issue?

(I carry two mugs) for water and coffee.)They are easily cleaned, rugged, and keep your beverage at the right temperature for hours! I have small hands for an adult and these mugs are comfortable. My one complaint is that the rubber seal can come loose and can be difficult to reinstall. (Especially when you're in a hurry!) My go-to daily travel mug

I use this mug every day to make tea at home, after which I throw it into my school bag. Tea stays hot for 3 hours (and that is coming from someone who likes her tea VERY hot), and I have had no issues with spilling. I never worry about leaks when I throw this mug into my school bag. Highly recommended.

If you take care of the seals in the lid it wont leak. My cup has been through it all, my car, my motorcycle at 85, the dash of a garbage truck and the hands of my teenagers. yes it has dents and is covered in stickers I carry it EVERYWHERE! If the lid leaks, I just remove the seal and put it back in properly.

When my husband and I used this for our coffee both of our upper lips got burnt because your lip will rest on the same spot where the liquid comes out. Also, my husband put his in his backpack and it spilled, the snapseal is not as secure as the other tumblers they have that has a lock.
