I love that it is leak proof and stylish. It fit in my car cup holders nicely. I love that it kept my coffee very warm for a good amount of time. Even kept my ice water cold and took forever for the ice to melt which is great! I love the non slip grip on it. It's comfortable to hold too. It's definitely made very well and with good quality materials. I definitely recommend.

Unlike some of the other users in the reviews, the snap seal works great and does not leak if you knock it over, unlike the Yeti tumblers. Most people will really like this tumbler, I own 4 of them!

I have had numerous burns from hot coffee or tea leaking around the lid, I also had a coffee spill when the cup tipped over and hot coffee ultimately sprayed out of the leak all over my desk.

I made tea at 8 a.m., worked at an all day fundraising event and when I got back in my car my tea was just as hot as when I'd made it that morning.

The durability of this mug is impressive; it feels sturdy and well-built, which gives me confidence it’ll hold up well over time. When it comes to insulation, it keeps my coffee hot for a good few hours, which is perfect for longer commutes or travel. I also appreciate its portability – the slim design fits easily into my car’s cup holder and my backpack side pocket, so it's very travel-friendly. The leak-proof seal is a huge plus. I’ve tossed it into my bag a few times, and no spills so far! My only minor drawback is cleaning it; the lid has a couple of crevices that can be a bit tricky to clean thoroughly, so it requires a bit of extra care.

I gues wasted my money.

It’s designed long and tall, so it won’t fall out of your bags travel pocket like the standard wide cups do. It has a screw top (which my hands appreciate) since now I don’t end up getting hot coffee splashed on me like the usual pull tops when I reopen to add more sugar and such. The grip is also really pretty with a nice carved pattern. The black and silver are sleek and make it look expensive.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this mug for free from Influenster in exchange for my honest review. It’s a pretty tall mug that can fit a lot of liquid. The top is kind of awkward though which is why I took a star off. The notch you lift up isn’t where the water flows out. It’s actually the opposite direction. But it really does keep liquids hot. I poured 125°F water and it and an hour later it went down to 119°F. 14 hours later the water was lukewarm and 90°F.

Rated 1 out of 5 by sld121 from Snapseal Lid is NOT Leakproof After being a Contigo faithful follower, I purchased two SNAPSEAL 20oz mugs as I had come down with a case of tendonitis in both arms, and the Travel Mug hurt my forearms to use. The SNAPSEAL lids have opened on three occassions now, when I have had to slam on the brakes. The SNAPSEAL Byron mugs were on the floor in a lunch tote, and opened when they tumbled over. My brand new car now absolutely wreaks of sour milk as the chai tea seeped into the underlay. These are going in the garbage!

Rated 3 out of 5 by cbrick from Keeps the Joe warm but the lid is trash This mug keeps my coffee warm for hours and I like that but their "seal technology" that they brag about is the worst part of mug. The plastic seal fell apart and I kept drinking in my coffee. Now it leaks very badly. I even dribble when drinking from it. To me it no longer can be used to drink from so what I do is just use it a thermos. I make enough coffee for two cups. Poor my 1st cup into a regular cup and then the 2nd into my know thermos that used to be my travel mug. When I ready for my 2nd cup of coffee I poor from my thermos (this product) into my regular cup. It works me at the office but is not what I had wanted when I bought this. I came to this site to find a replacement seal but they are not sold. If I could buy 4 or 5 of them and replace as needed, this would be a great travel mug.

Received a Contigo Snapseal 20 oz Insulated Stainless Steel Travel Mug as a gift in January 2023, to replace one that I had for 5 years (which performed well but needed deep cleaning...). New Contigo mug no longer keeps hot liquid hot. Doesn't even keep it warm. I fill it with coffee at 7:00am, and by 8:00am, the coffee is cold. Not sure why. Would like to have this product perform like the one I had for 5 years, but don't trust it and will be looking for another travel mug that works.

The only issue I have with my current cups are the rubber seals in the lid. I purchased 4 of the Byron cups and they all have the same issue. After the first wash the rubber seal does not want patty in its track anymore.I've tried everything I can think of to get it to seat properly again to no avail. So I and up using a different cup. A shame since I live my contigos.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Fufu from Get it on sale not full price. Not worth it. Leaks after a month, the lid is difficult to clean, very difficult. I would leave the lid in hot water soaking with soap and it’s still dirty. This is disgusting. Look at the pictures. The rubber expands and you need to purchase a new one or replaceable rubber, it doesn’t keep the coffee HOT it might keep it warm. I have to reheat my coffee when I get to work and I work 10 minutes walk to my job.

Very hard to get the Lid twisted on the mug to where it doesn't leak when trying to drink from it. I bought 3 of these and they all have the same problem. They have been hand washed, not put in a dishwasher. The concept is great, but the product fails to perform as it should.

I have also used it to keep linden tea warm to calm anxiety and it keeps it warm just the way I like it, this thermos came into my life to make it simpler and easier, I absolutely love it

I love that it keeps my hot drinks hot and my cold drinks cold, and that it does not leak at all when closed. However, I am disappointed by the quality of the lid. The rubber where you open the water bottle wore down to the point of separating from the plastic of the lid. I trimmed it down and plan to continue to use the water bottle for as long as I can, but hope that the replacement lid becomes available to purchase online soon.

I wanted a bottle to use for water that wasn't plastic, so I purchased this one. It's great...IF I make sure to twist the lid on super tightly. Even when I think I do, I take a drink and get dribbles of water all down the front of me. I have to twist the lid on so tightly to avoid this, I have trouble getting the lid off! Because I like my other Contigo mug, I will try a different model. Don't like this one.

I use it to keep my tea warm whenever I go to work or keep my ice milk coffee staying cool all day. I like the design and the weight of this mug is just as expected, sturdy and easy to hold on hand or put it in my backpack. Truly water leaking proof and great for travel to even keep warm milk for my kids. Definitely give it a try and worth to purchase.

It looks really sleek, but it's far larger than I need for a travel mug. I found the snap mechanism really confusing, initially. It seals well when it is closed, but it is hard to fully close. It does keep my drink hot for a long time, as well, but the metal bottom makes it kind of noisy to put down. Overall, it's a fine mug, but I would probably make a different choice next time.

Price is very reasonable, Style is very nice, I use mine for coffee and it keeps the coffee extremely hot for at least 5 hours maybe more. I have to take the top off just so I can drink it because its too hot. Given that its metal there is no rust. Cleaning is very easy. I have no problems with it. I would recommend this to anyone who loves to take their coffee on the go and keep it hot

Rated 3 out of 5 by JESSE1 from SNAPSEAL lid gasket Mug works as advertised until the lid gasket deteriorates. Then while the cup is structurally sound, it is essentially useless for it's purpose. Gaskets are not available through the company and using the warranty page to replace an entire cup is a lot of hoops to jump through (with photos?) for a small part that I'm sure the company knows is going to fail. Parts like this should be made available on the web site. It is easier to buy a new cup. Planned obsolescence?
