can not drink from them
I have 4! of these mugs and every single one of them, the o-ring has fallen out and can not be put back in properly. With that being said, you can not drink from them, unless you want to wear your coffee!!
Very disappointing when they aren't exactly cheap. I end up using mine to get my coffee to my office (generally making a mess in my cup holder) and then pouring my drink into a coffee cup.
I also have one that does not keep anything warm for more than 30 minutes

Hot drinks stay hot for hours
Both me and my husband use these contigo travel mugs. I use it for hot coffee and he uses it for hot tea. It stays hot for hours. We love the blue colors and each of us have a slightly different shade so we know who’s is who’s lol. We have had them for over a year and they are durable leak proof and easy to clean. No residue dishwasher safe and we use a lil brush to get all the nooks cleaned as well. We love this brand and are very loyal to it. Highly recommended

Dangerous
Well just taken my second cup back for a refund. On my first purchase the rubber seal on the lid kept falling out and cup constantly leaked so I thought might just be my bad luck so bought another one as I did like the fact that it kept my coffee hot for over an hour unfortunately after a week of use with my new cup the same rubber seal failed and not just a leak this time burning hot coffee sprayed out the lid scalding my hand. I will not be buying a third cup

KEEP YOUR RECEIPT FOR LIFETIME WARRANTY!!
I have owned 2 Snapseal travel mugs,1-24 oz, 1-20 oz for 4 years. Over time hot beverages do not stay "piping" hot for 5 hours, however cold beverages (with ice) do remain cold longer. There are issues with the lids the seals stretch and cause considerable leakage. As long as you retain the original receipt their lifetime warranty is excellent. I called the retailer and after 4 years they will exchange or provide a full refund. Well worth the investment.

Best coffee keeper EVER!!!
I absolutely LOVE this brand so much I bought a smaller one 1st, my problem now is finding this model to purchase, it’s my favorite color and I have a 20 oz and 24 oz pink one can someone tell me where I can purchase this exact one, it has been a while since I’ve had them but I want to renew them with this color. My coffee stays hot so much that I need to open the top to cool it off most morning but it also after closing it remains warm till the last sip.

I have owned a mug just like the one pictured for several years. It's traveled to Europe the Caribbean in all kinds of places. But a couple months ago I noticed that it really doesn't keep my ice water cold like it used to. I can fill it with ice and water and by morning the ice is all melted. It's not a complaint I have gotten my money's worth out of it I just didn't know that if they got old they quit keeping things cool like they did in the beginning.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far so good. It's working as it should. But the snap seal does take a bit getting use to. I find it a bit tough to open. But I guess that's what makes it leak proof. The size is great at 24 oz. And it fits in my backpack bottle pocket. The only thing is the cup itself can not be placed in the dishwasher. That may be due to the silicone grip. It's removable. But that may become a hassle in the future.

Great to travel with!

My fiance no longer has to spend money on coffee at the gas station every morning. He now makes his own and brings it to work in this mug. The Snapseal lid makes this great for in the car, with no messes or spills! His coffee stays warm all day long now! The grip also makes this easy to carry without being dropped.

Love it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I been using this cup for the last 5 days I love it, the ice melts soon, it doesn't last longer like other cups but very practical, the right size to be hold in a hand it fits perfectly in the car cup holder, I usually have ice water in it, I tried hot tea but same doesn't last long either, but long enough to keep your drink hot or cold, I definitely recommend for the office or on the go.

Not very leak proof.
Liquids only stay hot for a few hours and need reheating, it keeps things cold better. The lid is hard to clean especially if you have smoothies or soup. Lid is absolutely not leak proof. When I use these mugs I feel like I'm handling an egg because even the slightest tip or tilt will cause the contents to spill. Not good if you have an active lifestyle or work. I've ruined clothing and bags because of this and this is my 2nd mug with this issue.

Very Impressed
After much searching and borrowing, I finally found the thermos I have been looking for! I've spent many days looking througIh the cabinets at my work, looking into the cabinets at home, trying to mix and match lids with the right thermos. I finally have found what I was looking for. Very pleased with the design, the sturdy metal shell, and the leak-proof spout. Will definitely be purchasing this exact brand (possibly even this model) for life!

Best Gift Thus Far
The organization I work for purchased the SNAPSEAL for its administrative assistants. From the day I received mine I have used it daily, especially during the summer time. I was so shocked at how long ice water remained ice water. I believe it was well over eighteen hours. The ice was still whole..I LOVE THIS THERMOS!!! I am looking into making a purchase of my own. I recommended it to my sister and she purchased her own and loves it as well..

Needs a better lid.
I find trying to drink out of this in the dark is not easy, I usually take a drink of cold water with me to bed as I suffer from dry mouth. I reach over during the night and even in daytime I cannot get a drink without spilling some. The lid is not leaking, it is trying to line up my mouth with the hole in the lid. Most travel mugs have something you can feel with your mouth or tongue before you attempt to drink this does not. .Poor design.

Perfect shape for easy holding
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I need a large tumbler to get me through my long commute. Most other 24+ ounce models are either tapered or have some other crazy shape making them impossible to hold. This model is perfect. The entire tumbler is perfectly sized to hold and Contigo added a great textured rubber section. Of course, like all other tumblers they make, this one stays piping hot until lunch. Perfectly executed.

Really love using this Stainless steel tumbler. Keeps my coffee hot for several hours. I love the snap down spill proof lid. It fits perfectly in my cup holder in the car! Love the round cylinder shape it's the perfect size! I like to choose the 20oz it's not overwhelming and just enough to enjoy! When I finish my coffee I just unscrew the top and my preferences is a bottle cleaner for easy cleaning! I highly recommend this Contigo Cup!

Solid Construction, Warrant, and Customer Service
I've been a customer of Contigo products for years. We have Byron(s) and West Loop(s). Contigo stands behind the product because of the solid construction. They keep water ice cold and coffee hot enough to enjoy for hours (no one wants a burnt lip so cool it first). I recommend their products highly. Never disappointed with their wonderful Customer Service and Warranty. A purchase I have never regretted. And I often have buyer's remorse.

Logo on mouthpiece is annoying.To get rid of it...
...I used a conical bit sander and sanded off the logo to make it smooth. Now every time I take a sip of tea or coffee my lips are not going up against the uneven annoying surface where crud and caffeine stains accumulate. My experience is now pleasant and no need to use a toothbrush to clean into the crevices of the logo near the drink hole. You should do the same and experience the marked difference in your drinking experience!

Not Spill Proof!
SnapSeal is a bad design in relation to human behavior. When you open the seal you have a potential spill until it is closed. So, that means you have to open-close-open-close-open-close ... to prevent a spill. Users will tend not do that. I have not done that at times and spilled coffee numerous times in the car and other places with SnapSeal. Bad design, frustrating.
Contigo should keep with press-and-release with each drink.

Best travel leak free cup

Great Until It's Not (Lid Fail)
I now own 3 Byron mugs that are unusable, I kept buying them (until now) because they're truly one-handed and leakproof -- until each lid failed, within 1-2 years, Attempted to replace the gasket without success; it kept twisting and I could not get it seated properly, Hard to understand why Contigo does not offer replacement Snapseal lids, given the durability of the body of the mug, and the fact that this is a known issue.

Great mug

Snapseal lid took me a little time to figure hot to open it, but it prevents from accidental lickage and drips. I like rubber handling space, it looks cool and also prevents from touching super hot or cold metal.
Great mug for travel or active on the go lifestyle.
My son also using it for gym.

Does what it says it will do!
I have had mine for a little over a year now and love it everytime! It keeps the liquids secure and hot! My only complaint is the paint. I don't throw mine around or slam it down but just from washing and wear and tear the bottom of the mug has chipped paint. The new matte black mug looks to solve this problem with a stainless stell circle around the the bottom. Its minimal and doesn't affect the performance. Love it!

Great product except lid seal
I see many other comments on rubber seal stretching. I called toll free number listed here on each respond comment from Contigo. After less than 5mins I have another complete mug coming to me free of charge. The tip given by the very knowledgeable and friendly Rep: Hand wash only. When filling with hot liquids wait 3minutes before installing lid. Simple. If it happens again when I asked, mug will be replaced again.

The lid leaks
The seal between the lid and mug leaks all the time. Weather it is sitting on my desk or I'm holding it while walking. I returned the first mug I got thinking that it was just a faulty mug, but my new one still leaks. I don't like having coffee all over my hands and my desk.
