This is one of the only simple water bottles I have found to fulfill all the features I want: easy to clean, carrying loop, lockable, easy open with one hand, lif stays on and won’t drip, leakproof, no weird and hard-to-reach- crevices to clean, pleasant drinking experience, great size and easy to grab with smaller hands, and (very important) the place where you put your mouth never has to touch anything except your mouth and the lid! My only complaint would be that Contigo does not offer replacement lifs at this time. I don’t want to have to trash a perfectly good water bottle, especially one with sentimental stickers, because the lid won’t latch well after years of use and the silicone part is growing black yuck even with my best efforts to clean regularly. If there were replacement lids, this would be the perfect water bottle!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I haven't had any issues with the bottle leaking water and it most definitely stays cold at least 24 hours. I put ice in the bottle and the ice ended up still being in there the next day! That was a nice shocker. The handle is big enough for a good grip also. If you happen to be running on a trail and are afraid that you'll accidentally push the button making water go everywhere, there is a way to lock it next to the release button so it won't open which is also pretty cool. I haven't noticed any cons other than the fact that it can't handle hot liquids.

Rated 4 out of 5 by aericina_2442 from Weak lid but nearly perfect design Water stays cold with enough ice overnight. The weakest link is the lid. When the lid lock works, it's absolutely leak proof. The handle is useful for carrying and folds down to be out of the way. The problems are the nails holding the handle can come loose, and the lock button can break which prohibits the kids from staying closed. The redeeming quality though is the manufacturer will replace the lid through a warranty claim. Despite these issues, this is my favorite water bottle that I can flip open and closed with one hand and does not use a straw. I have 4 between my family members in different bottle sizes and use them daily.

With that being said, we've bought multiple models and sizes throughout the years but without fail, any rubber parts can and will eventually mold. This specific model is perfect for outdoor riding mowers/ tractors as the pop top prevents any debris from getting in the water bottle.

The mouth is wide enough I can gulp my water when I am really thirsty (straws just don't work the same). I love my water cold. This bottle keeps it cold into the next day. Take off the lid and it is wide enough to put under an ice maker that dispenses ice. This bottle is easy to open one handed. It has never leaked. I only use my bottle for water. I have had the purple bottle for over a year. Loved it so much, I bought the green one a couple months ago. I customize mine with stickers from the hobby shop. Everyone knows they are my bottles!

While it keeps my drink cold, the ice melted in less than 4 hours. At home, that isn't a big deal, but it is nice to know when traveling away from home. I have not tried this water bottle with warm liquid. One feature that I like about this water bottle over other ones I own is the autopop/sealing lid. I can throw this in my workbag without fear of spilling or leaking. When I want a drink, I can easily push the button with one hand and drink without having to twist a lid off. I also love the fact that the drinking spout is covered due to germs. This is SO easy to clean as there are no inside mechanisms or straws. This fits nicely in my standard size cup holder in the car as well.

Rated 3 out of 5 by sdelo from Gasket molds with daily use This is the ideal water bottle, it holds a lot, is stainless, and truly leakproof. The gasket develops mold though, and does not appear to be removable for scrubbing, so if you use it daily and it doesn't have a chance to completely dry out it is a problem. It doesn't appear that replacement lids are available or I would rotate lids so that one could dry out each day.

I was blown away in this regard because ice water remained cold literally for 48 hours! Warmer drinks, like my coffee, didn't last quite as long but that's not a negative thing. The design of the bottle is also well thought out because it's small, sturdy, and easy to grip. The opening fits in standard refrigerator ice/water machines without trouble, and it's simple to clean. Does the job perfectly, but what else do you expect from Contigo products?!

I love that it has a flip top lid that can be locked into place to protect my drink. I like to carry cold water in this to work and I find that the ice lasts for the entire 10 hours that I am away from home. The lid is easy to open, as it has a button that you push to pop the top open. I like that the mouthpiece is wide because it makes it easy to drink out of this. The size is perfect for my car cup holder and I have no issues with the fit. The design is modern and I love the color!

We have an entire cupboard of water bottles and this water bottle is a favorite. It holds a reasonable amount of liquid. Not too small but not crazy huge either. We use mostly for our kids to take water to school and it keeps their water ice cold. Usually there is still ice in the bottle even the next day. The lid is really easy to use, push the button and the lid pops up to open a large spigot. Really like that the kids can quickly close the lid after each drink so they don’t spill water all over their desks. Also like that they don’t touch the spigot with their hands to avoid germs. Really easy to fill at bottle filling stations as the bottle opening is plenty big. No leaks either. Great water bottle! Five stars!!

This is super easy to use you just twist the top off and fill it with your choice of beverage . When you want to drink , you just touch the button for the top to pop open . This button also has a locking mechanism which I thought was a great feature ! This is washable in the dishwasher and very easy to clean . This does not leak when turned on its side or even upside down . This kept my drink cold for 24 hours ! The top of this bottle is interchangeable with other Contigo water bottles ! I highly recommend this !

It is more like a thermal so you can put cold or hot in it and it will literally stay all day. I like to use it for my coffee in the mornings and it keeps it nice and hot until the last drop. Then I wash it real good and that is a very easy task as it cleans up so easily. After that I use it to hold my coke or water whatever im feeling at the moment. It keeps that nice and cold for hours. I've dropped it a few times and it hasn't even chipped it. It doesn't leak easily so that's another big plus for me as my kids can use it if they need to without wasting half their drinks. This is definitely one of the best water bottles out at the moment and my go to for my family from now on.

It holds the temperature really well with ice cube put in, still unmetled back from school.It keeps ice cold overnight too. It’s easy to clean and very durable.Contigo is always a great brand - great insulation, no leakage, holds up well when I drop them but the new Ashland bottles are good standing. The lock and open up are good and easy silicon nozzle is ray to sip and safe This is the one We have been looking for so Five star rating as this product is very durable too. Highly recommend to people who are looking for best and safe drinking bottle.

This had a good placement of grippage taking the neck of the bottle. The lid is so nice. It doesn’t fall on my face while I’m drinking. It actually has an extra tilt back that kind of locks it into place. The flip cap is really nice. It had a locking option, obviously so the lid doesn’t randomly open if carrying in a bag. The lip piece is really close to the button to open the lid, it took me a few drinks to get comfortable with positioning of my lips. Overall I love this thermos.

I took it to the beach, and was able to throw it in my beach bag, and not worry about it spilling. It also stayed cold despite it being in the direct sun. I also took it hiking and found the handle to be fantastic! I love how it is wider than the handle on most water bottles, and it didn't dig into my fingers at all! I highly recommend this bottle!

Bought this water bottle last summer.....I love it but the gasket in the pop lid develops mold too easily, I do not put it in the dishwasher as I am always using it day/night. I have removed the gasket but of course now it is not leak proof. Is it possible to get a replacement gasket for the lid as the bottle itself is still in perfect condition.

Easy to open/close and when you open the lid it stays in place and doesn’t hit your face when you are drinking. I also like that you can lock the auto pop. Be careful if you add ice because it can slide out when drinking. But overall, keeps my drink cold for a long time. My only annoyance is that I found it difficult to get the label/packaging off. It was really stuck on and I had to spend like 10-15 min scrubbing the glue off that stuck on it from the label.

Rated 3 out of 5 by TonyLL from Nice water bottle, but autopop top isn't durable. I have bought 3 different colors of these stainless steel double walled bottles with the AUTOPOP tops. The bottles are great. The top works great, with a nice opening to drink out of, that seals quite well. There's no straw part that is hard to clean. My biggest issue is the durability of the autopop tops. I have dropped all of them a couple times. On two of them the pins broke at the hinge. They still worked but the handle can come off to one side. The "POP" lock also broke on one of these. Also, after a few months to a year of use, I've had 2 out of the 3 of them break the small torsion springs that "POP" the top open. The spring just wore out and broke. This is really irritating because the top no longer pops out of the way to drink.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Okay besides the fact that this frosted rose color is so aesthetically appealing and pretty this water bottle is the best! If you are a mother of young ones that always want to play with your things or carry them etc. the lock feature on this bottle is crucial! They can't open to backwash into it or spill the water! I love the ease of the handle to carry it and I love the big opening to gulp down water. My water stays cold on the tennis courts which is the most important thing to me! Also the slender body is great for storage and carrying!

The colors are great and the water stays cold, even in this god-awful Phoenix heat of 118° today! but PLEASE bring back the 20 oz bottle in the Orchid color. I had lost this bottle several times, and was so lucky to be able to find it and get it back. But this summer, I lost it in Bend, Oregon on vacation, and I was unable to find it before I had to leave town. Missing that color so much. I can’t find it anywhere online. Please bring that color back! Thank you.

The bottle is beautiful The frosted rose is such a lovely delicate shade. Sadly, I washed the bottle with a scrub a bit hard and some of the color came off. So I have now a discolored patch on the bottle. The bottle is very well made. The lid is leak proof and has a lock on it. You move the toggle to the left and the lid doesn't open. Move it to the right and now the lid is able to open. Very well thought. The water stays very chill. I filled the bottle at around 10:00 am and it was still post lunch at around 2:00 pm. I didn't test it for longer times. Overall I love the bottle and its a shame that i got that discolored patch.

However, I have always liked the lids in the past. This one has a pop-up straw-type piece that is too thick and wide. From a hygiene standpoint, I feel like it's one that would hold a lot of germs and bacteria. I contacted Contigo to see if I could purchase a different lid (such as the snapseal one -- piece pops up with small hole for drinking below), and am not able to find a replacement.

The thermos is of extremely high quality, as it keeps the temperature for a long time, both cold and hot because of the great insulation. It has fallen many times and apart from minor external damage, nothing has changed or been damaged. It is very easy to clean, disassembles well and opens easily, but despite this, it does not spill at all, it is completely airtight. It is quite light and very convenient to drink from, as the spout opens completely. It is cool that the upper part from which you drink is completely closed, that is, everything is very clean. I highly recommend it

Keeps my coffee hot for hours and hours on end. I love the lock on it, so I don’t have to worry about it getting knocked over snd spilling when not in use. I love the pop-top, so I only need one hand to open. I recommend guiding it a little so it doesn’t pop open so forcefully, in case some liquid droplets are on the lid. This way it won’t sling onto someone. It’s just an extra, added precaution, in case. 20 ounces is perfect for my morning coffee intake to work. No complaints. I love everything about this. Easy to use, super convenient, and it works! Nothing worse than expecting hot coffee and getting something lukewarm. I will be buying more for family members.

I have to use both hands to do that and so its not really an autopop function anymore. I will always buy contigo but the lid isnt great and they dont sell just replacement lids which is what i need.

Neither scrubbing nor bleach took it off. PLEASE sell replacement lids or replacement lid parts (gaskets)! You sell a great product - stand behind it!
